History

Established in 1985.

Founded in 1985, Milwaukee-​based Savory Catering and Events, formerly Corporate Catering Specialists and Deliciously Different, has been exceeding the catering needs of southeastern Wisconsin’s corporations for more than 25 years. Recently expanded, Savory Catering and Events offers catering and event planning services in its four divisions: Corporate Catering, Outdoor Events, Savory at Home and Weddings and Special Events. The company’s clients include: Rexnord, Marquette University, Aurora Medical, Direct Supply, Goodwill and The City of Milwaukee. Savory is committed to helping its customers savor life through high-​quality service, fresh, exciting food, and socially responsible business practices.

Meet the Business Owner

Guy L.

Business Owner

Guy Lamberg has served as Savory’s owner for the past three years. Guy has over 20 years of experience as a business owner. He has always enjoyed working for himself, which is evident in that he owned a string of successful franchise restaurants for over 12 years. Additionally, Guy has cooked and catered for friends and referrals for as long as he can remember. He received his BA in Marketing and Finance from University of Wisconsin. He truly enjoys all of the Savory dishes, but the Signature Breakfast Quiche always gets his taste buds dancing. Since becoming the owner of Savory Catering and Events, Guy has truly enjoyed working with every employee, trying to make a difference in their lives and put a smile on their faces. Outside of work, Guy’s favorite way to Savor life is to get involved in his children’s activities, spend time with his wife and volunteer his time to youth sports and other charities.
