Dapper Classic Barbershop

I would recommend Dapper to any man that is tired of getting an average haircut that just looks «okay.» I stumbled across Dapper in search of a new barbershop that cuts good hair. After seeing that it had a 5 star rating I though I would swing in. You have to make an appointment, and the price is around $ 32 dollars, which may sound steep, but hear me out.
It’s a great, clean, and new environment that offers coffee or water while you are waiting. I have had my hair cut by everyone there and everyone did a great job. I go to Carlos now, and he is very respectful, cuts great hair, and makes good conversation (so I highly recommend him).
For $ 32 dollars you get your hair cut just how you want it, they are very open to what you want and are willing to work with you. You are also offered a steamed towel for your face while they rinse your hair, and style you hair with their awesome products. Also, you get a complimentary hair lining between appointments.
There was also a fluke situation where they were unable to open the shop due to uncontrollable circumstances for my early appointment, but they comped me a free haircut. That’s the way to do business. You won’t be disappointed going here, and you might just leave with some awesome products they offer (an array of different brands of hair styling products, beard oil, and not to mention a great cut). 5 stars for sure!

Dapper is another great barbershop here in Milwaukee. As I sometimes note: This is on Brady and occasionally parking can be lacking.
I am kind of a wanderer when it comes to many things in life. I like to diversify my experiences to mix it up. That is what led me in my search for a good mens barbershop. I found myself wondering what Milwaukee has to offer. I had been a regular at Stag for a few years and found it was time to mix it up.
I found Dapper by perusing Unilocal.I was surprised to see the lack of reviews here but figured I would give it a chance. I called on a random Saturday to get in last minute because I waited too long. As luck would have it they had a noon opening via cancellation.
I was paired with Autumn. I am the kind of guy that really doesn’t have too much input when I sit in the chair. I don’t have direction to give and I am not too finicky. That might be a challenge to some but I do like to see what the stylist comes up with. Autumn didn’t hesitate at my indecisiveness. She took a look and had an idea right away and so it began.
She is a friendly down to earth person to chat with. I felt at ease in the entirety of my experience here. That is one of the key elements to a barbershop. It’s nice to have the service done but being able to BS naturally is also the key. We were able to have a few laughs as she worked.
After is the shampoo and rinse. The hot towel and scalp massage are enough to dissipate any remaining stress from the days events. ⁵⁄₅ right there.
I go in probably looking a little scruffy and worn from the days ordeals but I genuinely come out feeling refreshed and in a positive upbeat mood. Heck, I got a nice haircut to boot. I wasn’t sure what to expect going in there but I am certainly glad that I took the chance. Autumn has truly earned my repeat business.

Dapper is a great barber shop. They have online scheduling with an array of haircut/​beard trimming options and always greet you at the door.
Autumn does a great job with my haircuts and I have never once been disappointed.
They also use a great shampoo and product at the end of the cut that will leave you looking great when you walk out.

I moved to Milwaukee in July and have really struggled to find a barbershop I like. But now I may have found one. The cut was amazing! I walked out feeling like a million bucks. The cut included a wash, steamed towel and straight razor on the neck. The only downfall was the price. It is a little out of my price range, so I may not go back as often as I’d like, but I definitely think I’ll be back.

Dapper is the best barber shop Brady St., better yet, Milwaukee has to offer. If you’re looking for straight razor professionals, Autumn and Pare are the people to see! Pare is a master of his craft, blending unique and entertaining conversation with his excellent barbering skills.

I recently moved back to MIlwaukee and finding a quality barbershop was a challenge. I tried a few salons in the suburbs and was moderately satisfied. I felt they were overpriced for the quality of cut. However, I came across Dapper was figured I would try it out. Autumn cut my hair and was very attentive to detail and I could tell she knew what she was doing. I left Dapper with a cut I was very happy with. She did a nice job, gave a head massage, steamed face towel, and styled with their new product 1821 Paste. I will definitely be going back to Dapper again.

First of all the quality of my haircut was excellent. The proprietor and sole «barber,» Autumn, gave me exactly what I wanted in a haircut. Following the haircut comes shampooing which is pretty much a head massage, aka fantastic, with a steamed towel over your face. Then a straight razor neck shave caps the whole experience off nicely.
Not only is the quality excellent, the overall experience is as good as it gets.
Being new to Milwaukee this fall I had no idea where to get a haircut, and I absolutely lucked out stumbling into Dapper. In addition to enjoying complimentary PBR’s, coffee, or waters, the feel of the place is awesome. Very accommodating, you’ll find 88.9 on the radio and a very friendly barber in Autumn.

I’ve had 2 cuts now at Dapper & both times I’ve walked away feeling like a rockstar. Autumn is an excellent stylist/​conversationalist & much to my surprise, had the prior details of my last cut on hand which helped inform the details of my cut this 2^nd time around. Not sure if that’s the norm now but I really like the idea of this stylist/​barber/​barbette keeping notes on her customers. I’m loving my new chop & will return the next time I’m passing through Milwaukee. Thanks Dapper!

Wow, what a great place! I had been looking for a barber shop with a modern twist and this is it. This is hands down the best haircut I have ever had and would absolutely recommend to anyone. In addition to the great haircut a scalp massage, hot towel, straight razor neck shave, and a PBR were also included!
I will be back

I was a fairly regular Stag customer until I learned they refuse to cut women’s hair. I understand they’re a men’s barbershop, but masculinity comes in many forms; I have several female-​identified friends who want an awesome «men’s» cut, and to refuse them service is stupid and backward. I wonder if they charge so much because they have to pay the gender police.
But, crap. I’d never had better cut than at Stag. I was bummed, until a friend mentioned there was a new barbershop in town. Better yet, this place welcomes anyone who wants to rock a sexy masculine haircut, regardless of your perceived sex. I made an appointment with Autumn (online! total bonus), who was great. I walked in and was greeted immediately, offered a beer, and was made comfortable. She listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. This may matter to some, so I’ll mention it: she was also a great conversationalist.
So, I’ll definitely be back. The price is reasonable and it looks as if they’ve got the cutting chops without the discrimination.
