If I could give them no stars, I would. Let me begin with stating that the staff at this medical office is extremely unprofessional. Back in February of 2015, the doctor had diagnosed me with depression. I received my meds & psychiatry. All that went smooth until I requested from them to fill out FMLA forms for my job because I had taken some time off. What does clerical assistant do? She loses my documents within a week of turning hen in. I had sent another set of documents & once again, they don’t know where they are. So what does she do? She says «you can bring another set if it’s that important?» If it’s that important??? Really? Who says that sh*t? Oh and another thing. I recently injured my hand so I requested some xrays. Ok, got my xrays done. (This was at about 12 o’clock). Specialists says, you’re Doctor should give you results within an hour. Ok, I’m waiting & no response. I called dr thrukal for results & the damn clerk says «we don’t have your report. Call them & ask them to send it to us.» Like really? Isn’t it your job to check in with them??? So I asked them for a doctors note because my boss wanted to know restrictions & the note says «Olivia has been treated at my office at this time and date because she has become ill & cannot work.» Literally that’s what the note says. Highly disappointed coming here & I will never go back. & I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO HERE HMLESS YOU’RE INDIAN THEN, help yourself. I paid 30 $ copay to literary get a «thank you come again.» Save your time and money & go somewhere else.

I first called the doctors office on October 2. I had just signed up for him to be my primary care provider under MediCal after doing hours of research online looking at reviews for doctors.
Me: Hi! I’d like to schedule a regular check up. It’s my first time. I’m on MediCal.
Receptionist (at the doctor’s office): Oh, you’re on MediCal? The doctor isn’t seeing MediCal patients until January.
Me: January? Are you 100 percent positive? Not seeing MediCal patients at all?
Receptionist: Correct.
Me: Is that legal?
Receptionist: I don’t know.
In case you can’t do the math, that’s *three months* out from when I made the call.
I called my plan provider under MediCal and, sure enough, the doctors have an agreement with MediCal to see new patients within 14 days of requesting an appointment. Furthermore, they are supposed to see returning patients within about 3 – 5 days.
The agent will be helping me find a different MediCal doctor who abides by the rules of their agreement and is true to their word. She assured me that her superiors would discuss this with doctor Thukral.
She also told me I was not the first to complain about this doctor’s policy.
If you are on MediCal, please do yourself a favor and DO NOT request this doctor. He obviously doesn’t want you as a patient.
Even if you aren’t on MediCal, do you really want to be treated by someone who has so little integrity and respect for human health?
You make the decision.

I have been seeing Dr Thukral for over 18 years as my Primary care physician. I moved my house 10 years ago (which is 15 – 20 miles away from his office) and I still go to see him in spite of 35 minutes drive from home. He is very thorough and asks right questions compared to few doctors who have no clue and just write prescriptions.
He spends time in understanding issues and because of his over 25 years experience he seems to quickly figure out the basic issues. In spite of all good stuff one thing is not so good and that is waiting time is long to see him even with appointment.
In general he is highly recommended and only time I will switch to new Primary care doctor may be due to the commuting distance.

Even though today was my first visit, still I got that feeling of writing good review for him. I can say that he is a great doctor.

When we look for a doctor we want the best one. The one who listens to you and the one who care. This office is located in a nice area and a very nice building. However, doctor does not care much. He will keep putting things off.

Best doctor I’ve had since I lost my Kaiser coverage… he is compassionate and gives you his attention when you are being seen by him. It seems now-​a-​days that doctors just give you the hum hum and write you a Rx and your in and out in 2 minutes. Dr. Thukral hears you out and gives you his remedy and he actually gives a f&$k about you.

Bad bad billing and front desk.
Even when payment is received sends letter threatening
to send to collection.

Surely he is one of the best doctor.

When I lost hope in ALOT of doctors. He actually has showed me that he cares in what happens. I have never met a doctor that actually sits down and help you through pain, stress etc. When there were times where doctors didn’t beleive my symptoms he actually sat there and took it seriously .
He even managed to squeeze me in under one day.
Yea the timing up front of the desk is long. But it’s worth the long wait to visit a doctor that actually listens and don’t treat you like they never beleive you. and BELEIVE me, I had have alot of bad experience with bad doctors

FYI. they have moved their office to milpitas as of june…
i came to dr. thukral after hearing great things from my roomie. i had a really great doctor when i lived in vegas and i was in need of a primary care physician after moving here. i was able to get an appt the same week and was very happy.
i had an appt at 9:30. I came in around 9:15 and filled out the usual paperwork. i think i finally got to see the doctor at 10:30. this is understandable if he is busy. but the office opens at 9 and there was only 1 couple waiting before me. whatevs.
there were two women at the reception desk. one was younger and was very friendly. the other was older and she was also nice but she had no idea what she was doing when she was taking my vitals and my medical history. she had the hardest time typing and needed spell checker… omg! she kept deleting everything she was writing and starting from scratch and i even had to correct her when she typing false information. its like hey! i didn’t say that! she was one of those ppl who type with just their index fingers. this was very painful to watch.
anyhoo. dr. thukral seemed nice upon initial contact. he went over my medical history as usual and we moved on to my concerns. he totally disregarded my concerns and that made me feel really stupid. he used his 20 years of experience as reassurance that everything was fine. and in the end he pushed me out the door with some labwork referrals that ended up proving him wrong.
do not go to this doctor!
