So lucky and blessed we found TFF HVAC/​Tony. He fixed our heating system last December, doing a really good job in finding the cause (just replaced the board). You know he is not in business to just rip people off. He was pleasant and explained exactly what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. Very professional and just an extremely nice fellow.
He has made a loyal, life-​long customer out of us. Thanks, Tony!

Tony and his team are amazing, hands down. After reading about a billion Unilocal reviews and getting five quotes from different companies, we went with Tony, and we are 100% sure we made the right choice! As most people have said on here, the quote process was easy, and his quote was one of the lowest; his wife, who deals with scheduling, etc., is super sweet and prompt to respond; his team was extremely professional and courteous and finished within the exact time they quoted; and when a couple little issues came up (not their fault), Tony quickly (and generously) handled them. Tony and his team are gracious and show so much gratitude for the work. They do their very best to make their customers happy. I am SO pleased with this company and with our brand new HVAC system!

Tony installed our AC/​heater 4 years ago and I should have given him a great review then. He and his team removed our old, malfunctioning wall heaters, then installed the new AC, furnace, and ducts. Tony and his team were professional, responsive, and all of the above as others have mentioned.
Fast forward to last weekend when the furnace stopped working. I called TFF HVAC, but unfortunately no one was there. It was a Sunday, so I left a message. I found another local HVAC company that was open on Sunday, and they were able to send two technicians out. Before they arrived, I climbed into the attic and saw that the furnace was giving an error code about the pressure switch. That was about the extent of my skills, so I waited for the «professionals.» The two guys arrived, spent about 30 – 45 minutes in the attic, then came down to inform me that the whole control board needed to be replaced and parts and labor would cost me more than $ 500. There was no mention of the pressure switch, so I was skeptical. I decided to wait for Tony.
First thing Monday (today as I write), I get a text from Tony saying he’s on his way. Within 10 minutes of arriving, he fixed the pressure switch and the heater is working again. Nothing else looked wrong, so Tony buttoned things up and was on his way. Total charge: $ 0. Tony definitely takes pride in his work and it shows. I can’t recommend he and his team enough.

This husband and wife team are a pretty exceptional pair. I needed a whole new HVAC system complete with duct work installed in a property that was also undergoing a major gut job of a renovation. Due to poor planning and miscommunication on my end, the installation occurred over a period of a couple of months, but at no fault of Tony or Heidi. Most of the work was completed on time and in just two days in early November, but we had to wait on inspection due to some permit issues I needed to clear up. Through it all, Tony was a class act – patient and accommodating. Running the communication side of things, Heidi was always prompt with a quick response to every single question or concern that I had during this whole process (and there were many). By the time it was all done, I had a new system installed so professionally that even my meticulous contractor was impressed by the workmanship. Not to mention that of the quotes I received, Tony’s was by far the most competitive and reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to call on these two for future HVAC needs and neither should you.

I called TFF HVAC based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. They were professional, pleasant, and honest. I was not overcharged and I felt very please with the level of customer service I would use them again.

We got our HVAC system installed from Tony and have nothing other than good things to say about him. First off his quotes was one of the more reasonable ones we got. During a busy summer time, Tony and his guys were very prompt in getting us a slot to accommodate us. Post installation, he even worked with us to get the city’s permit by installing the smoke detectors.
The best part was that a few months later, when our heater stopped functioning due to a clogged filter, Tony drove all the way from Gilroy to help us out and did not even charge a dime. In this day and age, it is hard to find such good guys. Thanks Tony!

We used Tony a couple years ago but haven’t gotten around to writing any reviews until now. Tony is really nice and explains things well. His team was professional and did a great job. We ended up getting a new furnace, air conditioner, and ductwork and everything turned out perfectly.

Tony and his team installed a A/​C system to our new home on time and budget. In addition, they installed new duct work for the dryer. They did a fantastic job. TFF has an extremely hard working crew and they are all very nice. It was a pleasure to work with TFF HVAC.

I wish I had contacted Tony earlier as summer just ended right after he installed a mini-​split A/​C system in my home. I did try out the system a couple times and it’s doing what it should. Unfortunately, the real test has to wait for another extremely hot day.
In regards to working with TFF HVAC, Tony was very responsive and got back to me within one business day after requesting a quote for new A/​C. He gave me some rough numbers over the phone which most contractors refuse to do. I immediately scheduled him for an in-​home evaluation. He came over (on-​time) the following week and gave me a detailed description of various options and what kind of work/​costs would be involved.
After I decided on what to get, Tony’s wife put me in their schedule which was 2 weeks out. On the day of the job, Tony started late but he still managed to finish the work before 6pm. He worked diligently and kept my place clean along the way. The quality of the install is that of a true professional and you can tell that Tony takes pride in his work. I was very satisfied with the job and will contact Tony again for any future HVAC needs.

Tony at TFF-​HVAC is exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced in his trade. We just had a complete installation, including replacing an old heater, new ducting, and installing a new AC unit. TFF has an extremely hard working and dedicated crew. They are also all very nice people! From start to finish, Tony and his wife Heidi provided great communication and scheduling throughout. Everything passed inspection with City of Campbell. I would not hesitate to recommend Tony and TFF-​HVAC for any of your heating and/​or air conditioning needs; on time, competent, hard working, with competitive and reasonable pricing.

Tony installed our central air more than 5 years ago. At the time, I was super-​impressed with his obvious skills, awesome work ethic, straight-​shooting communication, and just downright being a nice guy who cared about the quality of his work. We were offered a free evaluation later that year on the energy efficiency of the system and got something like a 99%, proof that the install was great.
Just had him back to the house after we lost cold air on the hottest day of this summer. I checked everything I could and knew we needed someone to come in. Had to wait a couple days because of the mass of issues with the heat we’ve had. Worth every second of waiting. He had us diagnosed, repaired, and up and running in no time. And the price — so low I won’t even post.
And the communication from Heidi was super-​prompt and re-​assuring until Tony could get to us.
It can be hard to trust someone to come in to your home, do things right, and to be fair about the costs. Tony and TFF do that and more.

Tony put in our AC unit six years ago when we first bought our hours and was prompt in service and thorough in his installation. We recently had an issue with a service switch causing the AC to not turn on. Having a newborn is not easy — but when the AC breaks down on one of the hottest days of the year and your newborn has allergies so opening windows isn’t good for her, things are even worse. Tony seriously bailed us out of a horrible night by coming and fixing the issue with our AC. As a new mom, I am so very thankful he came to get our AC back up so our baby can sleep so we can sleep! He is a legitimate great guy with a great business!

We are really pleased to have selected TFF after getting couple of quotes. Their pricing was comparable but based on previous reviews on Unilocal we went with them.
Tony & his team were great through-​out the process right from giving a quote to getting the job done. They are extremely professional but friendly at the same time. They were really patient in answering my questions
This review wont be complete with out mentioning Heidi. We had 2 month wait time to get approval from HOA, Heidi tried her best to see if we can get approved faster. She was very prompt and excellent in scheduling & preparing paperwork for Inspections.
After the work, the team cleaned up the house as if no work was done.
I would definitely recommend them for any HVAC issues.

What can we say about Tony and his crew? Tony is extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about his work; he will make every effort to make sure that the job is done right and as close to perfection as you can get. His crew was also very professional, courteous and friendly — especially the foreman, Jose. His crew went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and they were very careful to cover all areas they worked in and were always respectful of the fact they were in someone’s home.
We contacted TFF HVAC because we had two 25 year old furnaces that needed replacement. One had died about a month earlier and the other was never installed improperly to begin with and we were eager to get it replaced. Tony was very thorough in assessing our existing set up and was quick to point out the many flaws, and corners cut in the installation of duct work that the former contractor had done and he set out to make things right.
Tony and his crew delivered on a great product and we now have heat in our home blowing out of our vents that we never had before! Not only did they replace both furnaces, but also did a terrific job installing new ductwork throughout to assure a minimum amount of air leaks.
Also, you should know that we did extensive research prior to selecting TFF HVAC and we were amazed at what we found. Not only did we find that TFF had more five star ratings than anyone else in the area, but we found their pricing to be extremely competitive. A pleasure to work with — such rare qualities in today’s marketplace.
Finally we can’t say enough great things about Heidi Ferreira who is Tony’s «behind the scenes better half» ! Heidi makes sure the communications were detailed and timely. We were very impressed that while some HVAC contractors provided a quote without any real detail describing the work to be done or equipment to be used, Heidi made sure the quotations were as comprehensive as possible. She was amazingly responsive which is critical in a service business such as HVAC.

My review is base on the initial conversation and interaction and not an actual job with this company. I was calling to see why my heater furnace was making so much noise and if they can fix it. My problem was diagnosed over the phone and the gentleman I spoke to was very knowledgeable but there was some miscommunication on what needed to be fixed. Long story short, I learned a few things and the noise was not really a problem regarding the functionality of the furnace. Even with the visit from this company, I was not charged because of the miscommunication. Although my problem with noise went away after they did some small tweaks in my heater closet.
I will be keeping TFF in my contact list for any future problems or projects. I definitely had a good experience.

We called TFF HVAC on Dec 25^th, 2014 after my elderly mothers heater stopped working. She had one other company named, The Furnace Co in Campbell (also known as Day and Night Furnace) come out first and told her her motherboard would need to be replaced and it would cost $ 2800, or she could just replace her entire heater, which is what they recommended, for $ 5000. Thank goodness my Mom called my sisters and I because we told her no way, we needed another opinion. Little did we know what a scam this first company was. My sister highly recommended TFF HVAC as they have come to her home before and they were very good. So, she called them and we were thrilled they could send out a technician right away. Within a short time, Jason showed up. OMG! What a God send. He was so nice, patient, answered our questions and was very straight forward. He located wires that the other scam company had disconnected and then found the real problem, which was the ignitor that needed to be replaced (a fairly common problem). $ 125.00 later and my Mom had heat. He tested for carbon monoxide leaks, checked the filter and also checked the inside of the house to make sure the heat was flowing properly.
Thank goodness for honest companies like TFF HVAC that realize that being honest ensures future and referral business. Bravo to them and to Jason, our great technician.

I normally don’t give 5 stars unless I have more experience with the entity I’m reviewing and thus, 4 stars is as good as it gets from me on first contact.
When I first called Tony, he said he’s going to send his staff over. I became a little concern after reading some of the negative reviews. I hope the staff knows what he’s doing.
On the day of the appointment, Jason showed up right on time. He was friendly and he started working after I explained the issues to him. I don’t know anything about HVAC so he tried to explain to me what the issues were. According to Jason, my 4 years old house was installed with the wrong furnace. It was too powerful for the square footage it covers along with the zoning set up. So he gave me some advice on how to minimize the negative impact of the mistake.
He went on and fix the second issues that I have which was the second furnace unit I have upstairs. He found couple of problem that wasn’t really the problem I called for and he was also able to take care of the problem at the spot. One of the problems I was concerned was the air flow. He identified the problem and corrected it. However, I felt that the improvement of the airflow was not the most satisfactory. He then continued to work with his partner Angel to make some adjustments until the airflow got reasonably stronger.
Angel also identified a few installation issues and they took some photos and explained to me.
This review is not to determine if TFF offers good price cause I didn’t call around to check. I was concerned at first because they do charge to come out and there wasn’t «free estimate». I have to trust that the positive reviews the other have written were reasonable and true. I have to say I’m quite happy with the diligent work they’ve done and rather pleased with the result.
In regards to cost, Jason came out to work for about 3 hours. While, Angel joined him later and spent about an hour. Along with parts and labor, it costs me $ 640. Everyone situation is different. I would hope it will cost less but as I said, I’m happy with the result and they did say they guarantee their works. I have to say I’m pleased with TFF.

Tony was a class act. He was friendly, courteous, and explained multiple options very patiently. We had to add a new AC duct in our guest bed room, and Tony and Jose did a stellar job. His price was better than most other HVAC guys, so it was quality service at a fair price.
