Sno-Crave Tea House

First time here w the boyf on a Thursday night and we tried the strawberry crêpe, matcha shaved ice and barley milk tea… which is a lot for two people lol but we made it work. The crêpe was what we mainly came here for but it was hard, not delicate and soft like how we would have liked. Everything else was pretty good though and we especially liked the service! There seemed to only be one waitress but she was super patient and helpful!

I usually have a great time here, but my visit tonight left me irritated and wanting to talk to a manager. Our server, whose name I believe was Jonathan, came to our table right away and took our order. When I told him I wanted a «strawberry crêpe as well,» he mistakingly thought I said «strawberry crêpe, small.» However, the way he replied to me was honestly just completely arrogant and condescending.
He replied to me, «Uhhhh, small? Our crepes only come in one size???» And then laughed afterwards. Huh? First of all… you are the one who misheard me, so you should be laughing at yourself. Secondly, I think there is a better, more professional way to clarify info to customers than to talk in that tone. I’ve never been talked to like that by a server in my life.
After that mishap, I just wanted to enjoy my food. I usually just get milk tea here because you can never go wrong with that, but I decided to try a mocha smoothie instead. The verdict? I shouldn’t have. Lol. Tasted like ice, great. On the bright side, the strawberry crêpe came out okay.
This should’ve been a 2 star review, but I’ll make it a 3 since I always come here when I want to sit down, and devour all sorts of sugary goodness. Hopefully I’ll be treated respectfully at my next visit though.

Best place for late night boba and dessert cravings! Jelly Ice is the best! Also the dessert like the coconut dessert is great also!

This place is perfect for anyone who has a major sweet tooth! My boyfriend and I frequent this place often when we have huge cravings for something really sweet and filling.
We always get the Golden Brick! It has ice cream, whipped cream, berries, and yummy sweet brick. But please know that the golden brick is sometimes a hit or miss. On some occasions the toast will be made perfectly and is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, but sometimes we’ve had brick toast that’s…burnt.
The milk tea is okay. They have a LARGE selection of cold and hot milk tea, but nothing really stands out. This place is more for desserts than milk tea.
This place is a hit or miss on certain days. It’s not absolutely amazing and mind blowing good, but if you have a huge itching for something sweet this place is perfect for it!

My boyfriend and I always end up coming here when we’re craving late night boba, and they never disappoint! I always get their Taro with boba, grass jelly, and egg pudding — to die for! I especially like this place because they have a variety of toppings to chose from! Also, their sweet teas are refreshing and delicious.
The interior is very decorative with modern tables, and purple upholstered chairs that are comfortable to lounge in. They are welcoming and get your drinks done quickly.

I have never seen cups quite as large as these until I found Sno-​Crave. Looking at the menu, I was disappointed to find that most of the drinks used syrup, so I stuck with a basic tea. Just green tea with a couple toppings. The green tea was pretty average, wasn’t horrible, but wasn’t even close to say, Tea Station. The grass jelly was very bland, and I felt like I was eating weird agar jelly – maybe it was canned? The other topping I don’t even remember as the drink itself wasn’t very memorable.
Like I said, it’s not horrible, but taking into consideration all the amazing boba places that are popping up in Norcal, this could use a little work.

Iced Lavender Milk Tea is the main reason why I love coming here. I’ve tried it hot & cold and love both! This place is basically sweet-​tooth Heaven without the angelic music playing (always LOUD variety of music is playing all the times I’ve been here). Service has always been super friendly which is a plus. I’ve tried one of their crepes w/​ice cream at this location and it wasn’t too bad at all. My brother claims their PB toast was really good and my BF loves their mango jelly drinks. Cool place to hang out with a group of friends/​family. The only policy I disagree with is the minimum $ 10 credit/​debit card that also applies to take out orders. I rarely carry cash around so it’s inconvenient for me to come here if I’m just craving a small drink but must order items that adds up to at least $ 10…blah! I could get cash back at Walgreens nearby, but now that’s just doing too much, especially on this busy street/​plaza. Other than that, I recommend this cool desserts/​boba joint to anyone craving sweets, even if it’s late at night (they’re open really late, past midnight)!

Creative brick toasts! But will start to look like a bomb once you start eating it.
FOOD: We shared the Macaroon toast between the 5 of us girls. We got to pick 3 different ice cream flavors, which were green tea, strawberry, and coffee. The toast came out as a cube with ice cream and other toppings (4 TINY macaroons, mini fruit marshmallows, 2 waffer sticks, and a few pieces of shaved chocolate). The server helped to cut one side of the toast, to reveal what was inside, which was 7 – 8 pieces of toasts. In the end it just looked like a BOMB EXPLODED. Nothing particularly stood out to me. The macaroon was pretty disappointing, but at least I am glad that I tried it!
PRICE: With tips and taxes we paid $ 15 ($ 3/​person), which is not bad but for dessert, but I think I would have liked to spend that money on something more specialized, like just ice cream, or just macaroon.
SERVICE: The server was nice and pretty patient. She warned us that the toast takes about 30 minutes to prepared, which it did.
SETTING: The shop is pretty bright and is decorated with typical Asian dessert shop decors. There are tons of seating and lots of families come over to have dessert and play board games with their kids.
OVERALL IMPRESSION: I think I am okay with brick toasts…

Giannie the waiter didn’t give us forks or knives or napkins when she gave our snocrave tower so I had to go up myself and get it. Besides the service being bad, the food is pretty good.

This is the second Sno-​Crave location I have been to the past month, but my third Sno-​Crave location I been to overall. I love asian desserts, and Sno-​crave offers a variety of yummy asian desserts from toast boxes, to premium hot tea and my favorite, crepes!
I always order crepes at Sno-​crave. This time, I ordered mango crêpe with green tea ice cream. One thing I like about this location is that they asked if i wanted my ice cream on the side. From my previous experiences, my ice cream always melt in side my crêpe or on my plate as I cut it with my fork and knife. Because of that, I totally recommend getting ice cream on the side which makes it much easier to eat. I still have to mention that it is difficult to cut my crêpe with my fork and knife so the best option is to probably eat it with your hands.
Another thing abut this location is that they have board games for you to play with. What could be better than eating desserts and playing boardgames at the same time?
The only down-​side is service here is very slow.

OMG where to start raving about this place? First of all, Brenda is AMAZING! She needs to get employee of the year. We came on a busy Saturday night and we had a group of 20, with 10 of them being young kids. Brenda was extremely accommodating and kept moving tables and chairs around to try to help fit our group. She really went above and beyond the entire time! Thank you Brenda!
As for the food, it was delicious!!! The portions were ginormous (such great value!) and everything tasted fantastic. I especially loved the mango crêpe with mango ice cream.
I’ll definitely be back!

Mind you my friends and I have never been to Sno-​Crave before, so when we came here for dessert, we were all unaware that the portion sizes here are huge! My friend ordered the Honeydew Snow with Condensed Milk, Boba and Jelly, and I ordered the Taro Snow without Condensed Milk but with Boba and Lychee Jelly. When both bowls of Snow arrived, we were just aghast at how huge they were. I’m just like omg, we are never gonna finish it. Too bad the server didn’t tell us that maybe we should share one. We had told her too this was our first time ever at Sno-​Crave.
Unfortunately, my husband and my friend’s husband couldn’t really help us with our two bowls of Snow! My husband had a cheesecake to eat, and my friend’s husband had a large smoothie to drink. Frankly, I don’t even know how he managed to drink that smoothie. It was so big!
The Snow was fine, and actually I really liked the Lychee Jelly. But seriously, it’s just too much sugar. I must have eaten a fifth of my Snow. I felt so bad wasting all that «food» and money. These days a little bit of sweet stuff goes a long way for me. So, I think this will be first and last time at Sno-​Crave. I like my dessert with a bit more dimension and flavor, other than sweet, that is.

Came here with a friend because we were craving crepes. I got the banana crêpe with chocolate ice cream. My friend and I played games while we waited for our crepes, which was fun. The place was pretty busy for after 9 pm. The crêpe was really good and large in size. It came in a cone shape, open on over end. It was filled with bananas and a decent amount of ice cream. We tried coming back again with other friends, but the wait was really long on a Saturday night.

Pretty pleased! Never been here, was wanting some dessert after dinner. Ordered mango shaved ice, vanilla ice cream, with fresh strawberries. Huge bowl for about 10 dollars. The shaved ice even had chunks of mango in it! Ice cream was super creamy and it was a refreshing dessert.

The place opens late the weekend and the waitresses were very attentive. You can order healthy herbal tea and not have to have something caffeinated if you come at night. I had a longen goji berry tea at the recommendation of the waitress. It came in a clear pot and had a candle underneath. My friend ordered the hot grass jelly which had different red beans, boba, and mochi balls (tang yuan) in it. Taste-​wise it’s just decent. But it’s impressive that the place has so many options for sweet items (honey toast, boba, macaron, various Asian desserts, tiramisu, crème brûlée… etc.)
I like how parents would come with their kids to this restaurant. There were several tables with parents and kids who were playing jinga and having lots of fun. I applaud this place for allowing guests to sit and linger and create memories with their family and friends. There is also a love shelf in the store with random items that you can take and then donate money to charity. It’s nice to see a place that is trying to make a positive impact to society through its business.

Been here twice and have not diverted from the usual Green Tea shaved ice that they have, only this time the beans are on the side and we have condense milk added to it.
The desserts are a bit pricey if you’re eating alone so have your friends tag along and enjoy a variety of desserts as you try to beat the heat of Summer.
The place looks very hip (do they still say hip?), clean, the servers are young and very nice. It’s definitely a great hang out for the kids and those dates who’d rather have their dessert first (or last).
Oh try the crème brûlée toasts… those are heavenly.
Next time I’ll try those obnoxious looking honey toast box with all the trimmings… but I do need to have company to enjoy it.

Believe it or not, this was my first time having shaved snow.
My friends were surprised to hear that it was my first time until I explained that when we have shaved snow in the midwest it is not a dessert… it’s usually the aftermath or hellish storm followed by the breaking out of shovels and snow blowers and then the eventual numbing of your extremities.
I like the sweeter version much better. Plus, this version was served in atmosphere that looked like just a smaller version of the end of every episode of MYV’s ‘My Super Sweet 16′. This place has got to be a hit with tween-​age girls with all the glitter, sparkles, pink, purple, and over the top girly desserts… and to be honest, it was a hit with me, too.
My group of 3 ordered a mango shaved snow, which was huge and made bigger by our add ons of condensed milk and my special request for ll 4 different types of bursting boba. YOLO.
I also got a massive pot of honey kumquat tea that was served in the cutest little glass tea pot with a mini tea light burner and ever cuter little tea cup. If I were a fancy 10 year old, this place would be my jam… but I’m not. I’m just a non-​fancy 31 year old so at best, this can only be my guilty pleasure… just like TLC’s Dance Mom, which Sno-​Crave was airing on their TVs and got me totally hooked on.
The shaved snow wasn’t anything like I thought it would be, instead it was kind of a grittier ice cream, I guess. Maybe like, 80% ice cream, and 20% really finely ground shaved ice. I wish I could have seen how they shave it because I heard that watching it is pretty mesmerizing.
The bursting boba (mango, strawberry, lychee, and passionfruit flavors) was life changing, of course. Can’t ever go wrong there.
The next time I’m in Milpitas and really looking to fat it up I’m totally getting one of those bread loaf looking things stuffed with shave snow and all that jazz.

It was Mother’s day. I wanted a simple family gathering to share desserts. My criteria for this event was pretty presentation, yummy and refreshingly fruity, and not too sweet.
I had heard of Taiwan Toast as dessert but never tried it. Unilocal came in handy for researching local ratings; I decided on Sno-​Crave in Milpitas.
There were so many selections on the menu but our calorie intake is not limitless so we narrowed down to 2 items for 4 people to share. There are games to play while we waited. We played Fishing, Mancala, Palace, and Black Jack. What a nice way to celebrate Mother’s day with entire family.
Golden Brick
The toast are pre-​sliced into cubes so it is easier to eat. Bread pieces are toasted with honey so that they are crispy on the outside and medium firmness on the inside. Then stacked with ice cream on top and drenched with whip cream, berries, and cinnamon.
Strawberry Shaved Ice
Toppings can be customized. We had sweeten condense milk, mochi and strawberry popping balls. The popping balls are a must. It literally burst with fruit favor. The mochi is the opposite, it is chewy and gooey just a tad sweet.

Isn’t snow supposed to be fluffy?
Why am I chewing my way through this mango snow dessert?
My jaw is getting tired from all this chewing.
Like I’m chewing gum or something.
With every snow dessert they give you, upon request, a huge condensed milk squeeze bottle so you can drench your ice in sugary milk.
Just in case this wasn’t enough sugar for you.
Man, I feel like I’ve been through 10 packs of gum eating this thing.
