Savage Wraps

I’m in the market in search of a place to wrap my car hood and just like any other products/​services I purchase I do my research. After calling several Car wrap shops near the area, I decided to call Savage Wraps. Seeing that their reviews were really good and people mentioning that they were really honest I was hoping they would give me a good insight on vinyl wraps. Sure enough the guy who picked up the phone was straight forward and answered all my questions without beating around the bush. In fact not only was he super honest but gave me insight information about vinyl wraps that not many people would take the time to explain, which I greatly appreciate it that he did. He didn’t pressure me to make a appointment with him, nor did I feel like he was pressuring me to buy from him. I live pretty far from this shop, if I didn’t I would of most likely gone straight to this shop! Thanks a bunch! Happy New Years!

I recently got my car wrapped but Savage Wraps didn’t do it, I got it done by a different shop. I like the way my warp cameout but I couldn’t get ahold of the person that did my wrap. I just had some basic questions about how to clean it and maintain my car wrap because I noticed some water spots on it after I washed it. I called a few place and two of the shops I spoke with said they didn’t know what those spots were but they quickly gave me a quote on re wrapping me car!?? Then I spoke to Keith, he gave me all the info on how to clean my wrap. I used the products he recommended and the water spot are gone! This is a honest person. You don’t come across people like Kieth too often.

These guys are great very nice work the owner is a great guy easy to talk to and get along I really recommend these guys there work is phenomenal!

Great design, fantastic to work with!
After getting a new truck for the business, I wanted to have some sort of logo or something on the truck. I emailed with Keith and he put together a design for me. After several iterations, we settled on a final design, which is amazingly awesome looking. He was able to accommodate my schedule and apply the wrap while I was out of town, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! Highly recommended!

I called today ³⁄₁₁ and spoke to Keith on doing a taillight vinyl, red on my rear turn signals. Wasn’t digging all the silver/​chrome going on back there and wanted it to be much less. He spoke about him never doing this before but I’m happy to stop by and get some consultation.
I went in the same day I called him and he wasn’t busy at the moment. He inspected my tail lights, looked at the material and explained to me that he’ll give it a shot and that he’s not confident in this. I told him he’ll be better than me for sure. I signed a form and he got started on my car.
The waiting room was cozy, comfortable chair and it was quiet and I let him do his thing. He spent probably 30 minutes and he called me over to show me how he was doing the final step. He ran it with me step by step how he was avoiding using a knife to cut the wrap and didn’t want to cut my tailights. He even said, «I treat your car as if it was my own.» Definitely knew he cared once he said that.
After everything was done it looked amazing! He did an awesome job and I thanked him for giving it a shot and helping me out. He charged me a fair price and we had a great conversation as well about his life. Keith is definitely a nice guy and I asked for his business card so I can do more business with him in the future.
Overall the positive Unilocal reviews he’s been getting is spot on! I’m coming back here for my next car wrap/​vinyl for sure! Thanks again Keith!

Oh, boy. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I decided to get a vinyl wrap for a new cowl hood I ordered online for my Mustang. It’s been 2 weeks since Keith finished the work and I’ve been asked about the wrap at least ten times. Seriously. One of those times was from highway patrol at a light. Man, Keith is the easiest going guy you’ll run into when you need work done. He’s personable, knowledgeable, and above all, passionate about his work. This guy’s a true professional and an expert at his craft. If you’re a private party, small business, or a corporation, Savage Wraps is the place to go. The guy is on point and does amazing work. Amazing carbon fiber wrap by Gabe on my 2014 Lexus IS F Sport. Had some minor issues and they fixed it right away with new wraps. Highly recommend them.

Did a Great job for a great price and service did the job on my honda fit and keith is a awesome guy highly recommend it to any one!

I took my 2002 Toyota Solara in on a Saturday to see if they had time to install some vinyl to my roof. It turned out I needed an appointment for Saturdays but I gave it a shot. Then the owner said I can wait in case the only appointment that day didn’t show up so I did and to my luck I was able to get my roof done that day! He did an excellent job to what I probably would have done on my own lol. Also thanks for the water and ice cream that day! If I decide to wrap my entire car one day, I will be back! The compliments I have been getting is awesome and made my old car look new again!

I called Keith for help to install a black strip of vinyl to the top of my windshield as a sun visor and he was able to fit me in the same day even though they were busy. He is polite, nice, friendly kinda guy who was meticulous and precise while installing the piece of vinyl. I could tell he was well experienced in the art of vinyl applications. Keith was kind enough to invite me into the work area and have some refreshments while I waited for the vinyl to properly cure outside. Real nice dude. The fact he was able to fit me into their busy schedule was a definite plus and it only took a couple minutes to install.

Small business’ and private customers beware.
I worked on 2 projects with this company patiently for just over 11 months. The first project was done wrong and they made me pay extra because they messed up. For the second job the whole time I was haggled and pushed back over and over again. I was told by the owner «I keep getting big jobs and I’m very swamped».
First Mistake_​_​_​_​_​_​_​
The first job was for my windows to have decals so I payed them up front because I was a new business and was excited to get out there to promote my new business. Well, I showed them my car and mentioned that I wanted the decals to go on my tinted windows and also on my tinted windows on the store front. I came back excited to get my decals and found out that they were done in black. I asked them «why they’re in black if they had to go on my tinted windows»? They haggled each other back and forth and finally the owner cam over to me and said he has to charge me to make them over. This really bothered me and I stated that I’m not the one at fault. So after some time he dropped it to 70% of the original and frustrated I payed extra because he already had my other payment.
Second Mistake_​_​_​_​_​
After the first bad job I felt that I would give them another shot (I know. That’s where I went wrong. I just felt that I’m going to need a lot more work and thought they wouldn’t do me wrong twice. Plus, I am a small business myself and felt they deserve another shot.) This time I took them some art I purchased from an artist from England. This was a one time run of this form of art since it was special to the certain convention I attended. Along with this art I gave them my logo that took me over a month to draw/​create. I gave the convention art as a reference with my logo to turn into a vector format so I can get it wrapped on my car.
As an artist I can tell when someone is doing a poor job with art. I asked him if he was capable of doing this and he said «yeah that’s what I did when I first started this industry». So I waited about 2 months then I showed Up and asked if the job was finished. He said yeah and started to look for it. (I didn’t get a call saying come look or an email). It took him a long time to find it and when he did it was nothing like the references. I asked him to find my work so we can use as reference and he couldn’t find it. HE LOST ALL MY ARTWORK! After this he attempted to change it (still doing a poor job). I gave him at least 2 times after this to fix it and the last time he said «this is what you’re gonna get». So after waiting all this time and not giving him grief he told me «this is what you’re gonna get».
This is after paying his high prices. He was double of what others were charging.
(I found this out after this incident).
This is the incident that took just under 1 year until I had to ask for a return to my money. I feel that he took advantage of my kindness. After he pushed my job back time after time I finally got fed up and requested he return. This took about two weeks and when I went there I tried to shake his hand and say no hard feelings he turned and walked away leaving me there with my hand out.
Overall I never gave him a hard time and he treated me like garbage. I feel that he takes bigger jobs and treats the smaller jobs like garbage. This is where I warn the small jobs and small local business. Any corporation should find a company with better ethics.

AWESOME JUST AWESOME!
After finally deciding to get my cars roof wrap done, I found Savage Wraps Online. I called and got a great quote, so I decided to make the appointment. My car has a moon roof and a shark fin antennae, so I was a a little concerned, but Keith assured me he could wrap around them both.
I brought my car in first thing on a Saturday morning and walked into what could only be described as the coolest waiting room ever… an adult playroom if you will, vintage video game and movie décor all around you, just a very cool and laid back atmosphere. Keith had me fill out a form where I included my current mileage, he then went out to my car to make sure I was being honest (something tells me he’s had an issue with this before… see older review) He also took multiple photos of my car to document any current damage. I definitely respect a business that covers their bases, it shows me that he runs an honest business. After all of that, he told me my car would be done around 4 and that he would call.
At exactly 4pm he called and I immediately came and got my car. IT LOOKED AWESOME! The job was absolutely flawless. I LOVE IT. Keith spent a little bit of time explaining how to care for the top, but all in all is seems rather easy to take care of :) I Happily paid and drove off… and to the skeptics. there was not 1 extra mile on my car!

Well my friend and I wanted carbon fiber wraps done to our cars. We found this place my friends Mazda got done for 70 when we provided the material. Two weeks later I decide to do mine on my Altima I text the guy here at the same shop. Send him pictures of my car gets the same quote. Make an appointment get there. Sees the car and then starts having second thoughts agrees to the 70 bucks again great I can try different colors before u get my car painted my car is a 2012 Nissan altima with a body kit installed I belong to a few Nissan forums and getting into the Nissan mod clubs. Car gets taken to the back then he comes back to me I can’t do this install for the agreed price now he wants 110 that’s almost 58% mark up. That was so shady don’t agree on a price then jack it up. I work in retail a price is a price. All the free advertising he would got of this job. Plus I was going to post this on my Nissan club website. Now I just got to say be careful bait and switch that’s what’s this is called. I would give negative stars if I could for this place. The other thing I didn’t like I drove from Castro valley to get here so that was a waste of gas. U think this was right for him to switch the price on me.

First of all i was amazed about their customer service, keith and them are all very friendly and will definitely treat you like a King plus the workmanship of this shop is very Legit. I myself even saw all their tools and stuffs that they were using to do the job and all of em are high quality products! you can’t really go wrong with this shop! Bottom line is no other shop can compete with SAVAGE WRAPS quality of work and even when it comes down to pricing? savage wraps owned it! by the way i’ve been with alot of shops asking for vinyl materials and estimates but neither of em was even close to beat keith’s quality products, work and pricing!

Savage Wraps was awesome! Keith was a pleasure to deal with. Took my 08 Excursion in for a complete wrap or our company Cornerstone Spinal Care and came out almost 100% satisfied. Savage Wraps really value their work and treated my project as a work of art!
A couple of minor hickups but really does not bother me much. My project was delayed for a couple of weeks. Found a couple of bubbles on the back window but I’m sure Keith would fix it for me if I asked.
Savage Wraps did overwhelmed any minor hickups with added values like hooking me up with a FREE hood wrap to compliment the design.
I would highly recommend this place to other professionals and companies whenever given a chance!

Ask for Keith Vu, the owner of the joint. Talking about flipping awesome customer service and amazing vinyl work. He also hooked it up with pricing. He’s very competitive. Worked on my car till 1:30 am. Highly recommend to wash your car first and drop off the car or wait for about 3 – 4 hours depending on the work could be more as he takes his time to make sure everything is right. Can’t knock on good quality work. He calls it ART, which it is. It looks like factory work in my eyes.
He did my roof and rear bumper matte black.
