We are a full service accounting and tax practice, preparing tax returns for all types of entities. Our goal is to create value for our clients in everything we do. We are also experts in the tax and financial reporting of homeowner associations. Some of our services include bookkeeping for small homeowner associations and providing valuation services to small businesses for buy/​sale, bankruptcy, and estate purposes. Our emphasis is on helping small business to establish an exit strategy. When you step into our office, it is our goal to make you feel welcome and confident in your accounting team.

History

Established in 1985.

Karen Hahn started her accounting practice in 1985. In the early years, her business was home based, providing service to about 200 clients. Karen moved into her current location in 2005 and currently staffs eight employees. Her client base has since greatly expanded. Technology, efficiency, tax changes, and web based services are now the driving force in the practice. Karen’s focus has always been on providing outstanding tax and accounting services in a caring and warm enviroment.

Karen graduated from the University of Toledo in 1980 with a degree in accounting and she received her CPA certification in 1980. After working for a CPA firm in Los Altos for four years, Karen started her own practice. She is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the California Society of CPA’s. She received her Certified Valuation Analyst certification in 2004 and is a member of the National Association of CVA’s. Karen is on the board of directors of the Milpitas Chamber of Commerce and is also on the board of a non-​profit organiztion which helps foster children.

Karen has written a business workbook called «Business Performance Services» and has co-​authored a workshop series for couples called, «Build Your FInancial Powerhouse.»
