I am a new patient at Dr. Wadden’s practice. I will update the review as things progress with my treatment.
Initial assessment of Dr. Wadden as professional and straightforward. He will tell you what needs to be done and he will do it quickly with the minimum amount of fuss. His hands are sure and fast so you can get in, get out, and get on with life. I appreciate his approach.

Dr. Wadden is a wonderful orthodontist. Both of my children had their work done by him. He has a staff that make you feel like family when you walk in the door. He is always patient and understanding of all concerns brought to his attention.
My daughter had major brain surgery a few weeks after getting her braces off 6 years ago. She was resistant to the last few procedures finalizing her orthodontic treatment. She had always regretted not finishing up. A few weeks ago I asked him if he would be willing to complete her work and with a smile and a hug. He agreed today she had her final treatment and now she and I will be forever grateful. A warm caring heart goes a long way. That is a Dr. we ALL want for our children. Both of my children have amazing smiles which is a huge part of our self-​confidence! Thank you Gregory Wadden you are the best!

Dr. Wadden is not only a great orthodontist, he is an exceptional human being — kind, compassionate, caring and has a great sense of humor. His staff embodies the same characteristics, making it a pleasure to visit their office on a regular basis. I first went to see Dr. Wadden after a traumatic car accident at the age of 28, that left me with a broken maxillofacial bone and a missing front tooth. He and his staff reassured me that I was in good hands and that I would get my smile back. They are knowledgeable, up to date with the latest technology and very thorough, explaining the treatment plan and procedures. The office is welcoming, clean, has the latest magazines and music playing throughout, making for a very comfortable experience during each office visit. Dr. Wadden not only gave me my smile back, he made it better than it was before!

Dr, Wadden is a great Orthodontist. I got my braces done somewhere when I was younger and now that I am an adult, I went to see Dr. Wadden to fix my teeth. His consultations are very thorough, and he explains to you what is going on and lets you know what he thinks should be done. He does not pressure you into getting braces and they start right away! I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Wadden was my orthodontist something around 15 years ago and guess what, now I’m an orthodontist! I always get compliments on my smile and have Dr. Wadden to thank for that. He’s one of the best orthodontists out there and I know that even more so now that I’m a colleague.
Don’t hesitate to schedule a consultation with him if you or a loved one are thinking about improving your smile or bite. He’s got all the high tech equipment and even has a cool audio system throughout the office! Staff is great and I would recommend anyone to see him.
Good thing I’m in Southern CA and don’t have to compete with him! :)

I’m nearing the end of my treatment with Dr. Wadden and thought I’d write my first Unilocal review of my experience. To move the bottom line to the top, let’s just say I highly recommend him.
I came to Dr. Wadden after falling and doing some significant damage to my teeth. The «fix» required braces and in my case, there were lots of competing issues to balance. Dr. Wadden did a beautiful job of not only working out the treatment plan, but in going to bat for me with the Worker’s Compensation insurance company. Because of his work on my behalf, my mouth is repaired and the insurance company came through with the payment.
As with any dental treatment plan, it’s important that the patients work with their providers and follow instructions. The process did hurt and I had to remain vigilant about keeping my teeth clean along the way. But if you keep all of your appointments, follow his instructions, and defer to his expertise, you’ll have a great outcome. Dr. Wadden and his staff couldn’t have been more attentive to my specific issues or more compassionate about the difficulties I was facing, and all along they were pleasant and fun to work with.
As a side note, an orthodontist recommended treatment for my young niece that seemed far too aggressive so my brother got a second opinion from Dr. Wadden. Dr. Wadden was on the cutting edge of the treatment that was recommended and understood it fully. He recommended against it for my niece and saved her a lot of grief by doing so. He could have agreed with the other orthodontist and gotten a new patient, but he did what was right for my niece.
Dr. Wadden and his staff make your orthodontia treatment as pleasant as they can and will keep your interests at the forefront of their decision making. Again, I highly recommend him.

At the time I was shopping around for an Orthodontist and was choosing between Dr. Nancy Phan from San Jose, CA and Dr. Wadden in Milpitas. Dr. Wadden was very thorough with my consultation. There was also no wait period ! For example, face measurements were taken with Dr. Wadden, which the other Orthodontist did not do. I was given the option of Invisalign and to have no teeth extracted with Dr. Nancy Phan. However, due to my teeth crowding Dr. Wadden suggested I have teeth removed and explained to me the possible outcomes of not having teeth removed etc. I was fine with that.
Fast forward – I am currently a patient of Dr. Wadden and so far it has been almost two months into my braces and a great experience! His RDA’s are talkative and super friendly including the accommodating front staff. Dr. Wadden can come off as a quiet person but I know he is the only Orthodontist there and is focused with his work, because it can get busy there. Anyways, my teeth has been moving quite fast. I can’t wait to see the results soon. yaaaay =)!

This review should’ve been written 10 years ago. I’m writing it now because everyday I have to live with the irreversible damage Gregory Wadden has done. I had a consultation with Gregory when I was about 16 years old. He said the time to complete my treatment would be about 2 ½ years. He convinced my mom after the braces were put on that I had to pull 4 teeth in order to move forward with treatment. For 2 weeks I refused, after him telling my mom there’s nothing he can do if the teeth weren’t pulled I gave in & had them pulled. One of the 4 teeth removed was a molar that had a root canal done on it & instead of pulling the matching tooth like the opposite side, Gregory said this tooth had to be pulled since it would cause problems in the future. The space left after the molar was pulled was much larger than the other spaces of the teeth that were pulled & he stated it could be filled in later with a implant to even out the space once the teeth were repositioned. First let me say I probably missed about a year’s worth of appointments & had to reschedule which prolonged my treatment but 6 years later you would think it would be done already. Yes, I had my braces for about 6 years & with each tightening of the wires something else would get out of alignment. The problems caused by this were my bite was never fully connected, the front teeth were not aligned with the bottom teeth, meaning the row of bottom teeth were slightly to the left. It caused me to have a lisp when I talked, my side facial profile changed once the teeth were pushed back causing my lips to move inward & making my already predominant nose to look even bigger, My smile changed, and I got a clicking in my jaw. By the 6^th year of treatment I had enough & popped of my braces. I called Gregory’s office to schedule an appointment to come in & get the glue left on my teeth removed. When I went in he was clearly irritated by what I did & only said he was going to «Polish» my teeth. When he was done my teeth had bad scratches & scrapes to the point where you can see the lines & indents of where he «polished» them. Since then my teeth lost their shape, shine, & smoothness. One tooth actually chipped on the tip due to to the thinning after the «polish» When I asked about the implant he mentioned after pulling the molar that wasn’t causing me any pain or trouble, he said I had to get that done myself, he doesn’t do that. If I would’ve known that I definitely wouldn’t have pulled it. It’s expensive to have an implant or bridge put in & my insurance will not cover it. Also when he tightened my braces & greatly reduced the space where the molar was pulled, my dentist said it would be really difficult to put an implant there. I had a horrible experience working with Gregory, he never smiled or talked, never said Hi or Bye when I came for my appointments & one time I asked him to wear a mask to cover his nose & mouth (which he should be doing with every patient) & he was so annoyed constantly moving it around like he was uncomfortable but having him breathing over me & something flying out of his nose when I have my mouth wide open is gross. He still wouldn’t wear a mask after that. Everyday I have to look at my dull, scratched, indented, deformed teeth & it makes me so upset given my smile was one of my best features. Not anymore thanks to Gregory. If you have the option, get invisalign. I hope he hasn’t damaged anymore smiles.

I love my results! What a priceless gift to have an exceptional smile. Going through the process of braces with Dr. Wadden was a «peace of mind» experience. His professional staff are all amazing too. Seeing my result in the end convinced me that Dr. W. Is a true dental perfectionist. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs his services. What great staff and service!
I’m in San Jose for work for the next two weeks. I left So Cal right after my ortho adjustment. Big mistake! On the plane ride, I realized the wire on the top left was poking and pinching my tongue. Talk about pain. The next day, I look up the nearest orthodontist with good reviews and the office of Dr. Gregory V. Wadden were able to schedule me in the same day. I was in and out of the office in 15 minutes and best thing — they didn’t even charge me! Considering my appointment was pretty simple and didn’t take much time — it was still a chair that was occupied so I expected some type of payment, but they told me I was good to go. On top of that, the assistant that fixed my wire also looked over my other wires and adjusted another one for me. It’s so rare to come across a business that’s in it for the patients, and not for the money. Thank you office of Dr. Gregory Wadden!

Dr. Wadden has been phenomenal with my daughter’s orthodontics. Her teeth look 100% better. WOW! I must also add Dr. Wadden and his staff were very understanding and patient with me during the economic downturn when I was in between jobs. Went here for consultation for my son today and we were impressed by their warm greeting. Everyone was super friendly and professional. And their office is so clean and neat and so close to home! They even had a sign that welcomed my son into their office and he was totally stoked! He couldn’t believe that was for him, so he had to ask the front desk to make sure if the sign with his name on it was really meant for him. And it’s only a consultation, mind you! I really appreciated Dr. Wadden’s honesty of letting me know that it would be cheaper to wait until my son’s permanent teeth all grew. Regardless, they didn’t hold back on giving not just my eldest son, but also my youngest son, loaded Kids Club cards so they can start adding more points that can give them free gift cards! Points earned can be from brushing their teeth regularly to even carving a pumpkin. Sweet! Now my kids don’t want to go to any other dentist, and it’s too bad Dr. Wadden doesn’t practice general dentistry anymore. Oh btw, he was also DH’s ortho back when he was a kid. And he remembers that Dr. Wadden had the best giveaways! Hope he doesn’t retire yet… at least not until my 2 boys get their braces from him! (:

Dr Wadden started treating me when I was 13 years old, and I just turned 47… He worked out of a huge office in Milpitas that was mostly empty with one chair and he actually answered the phones. For almost 35 years I still love looking at how great my smile is. By the looks of all the great Unilocal reviews, he still does an amazing job. Bravo to Dr Wadden!

I just went to Dr. Wadden today for a consult and was really impressed by his honesty. He gave me a super thorough consult/​exam and at the end of it all, he told me that I didn’t need anything. I received great service, the staff was friendly, the office was clean and neat, and I have much respect for an honest doctor.

Excellent Orthodontist
We got refered to DR. Wadden from Dr. Glass from Milpitas a couple of years ago with my daughter then. He is one of the best if not the best in the area. At this point I have had my 4 kids had some work done with him from minor problem to lots of work done and we haven’t had any issue with any of them. He will keep in touch with you and waited until its the right time to do the job, he never rush you into get the job done because it will give him the money.
Dr. Wadden is great as the the stuff at the back and the front, always remind you of your appointment a day ahead.

Three of my bottom teeth shifted after a few years of failing to wear my retainers, so I was looking to get them straightened out again. I found Dr. Wadden on Unilocal and decided to get a consultation. It was free, but it was thorough! I was given two options: invisalign or retainers. They don’t offer any price breaks. The price they give you is set in stone, but… it’s worth it. I chose retainers and after a few visits, my teeth are straight again!

I am increasingly impressed after each visit! The lack of Unilocal reviews (at the time of this review 9 total) is not an indicator of their services, which are SUPERB, however, the 5-​star rating is definitely on par.
Their facility is comfortable and modern. Lots of big windows with natural light that makes for a more relaxing appointment. You receive email reminders of appointments, you check-​in for your appointments via computer, and your file pulls up on a monitor in the station you will be worked on. Very efficient! Seriously, their equipment and technology is a direct reflection of the excellent care you will receive here.
The initial appointment is the most thorough and impressive consultation I’ve received. They cover all bases, not just the functional aspect of your teeth, but also the aesthetic value that a great smile brings to your appearance.
After my braces were installed, LOL, they had me watch an instructional video of proper care. Awesome, because I’m a visual person.
I had braces eons ago, when I was in elementary school, and I really appreciate how they tell and show you exactly what they are doing to your teeth each visit.
The staff is absolutely wonderful. Everyone is friendly and smiling all the time. This is sincere friendliness too, not Stepford creepy robotic friendly.
Their clients are a mix of tweens and adults, so don’t be shy; all ages welcome!

Dr. Wadden is amazing. I got the dubious honor of having braces twice, but both times the experience was great. With a caring staff and a soft but careful touch, braces was no longer the bane of my existence. The only think i worried about was when they tightened them.
I highly recommend him for orthodontics. appointments are fast as well!
