History

Established in 1999.

Direnzo Towing was started in 1999 by John Direnzo Jr with the purchase of one flatbed truck. Now, Direnzo towing has a fleet of over 60 pieces of equipment and close to 50 employees. It started at 210 Granite Street in Worcester, MA, where he rented a building. In 2004 the current property was purchased on Route 146 in Millbury, MA where we built a modern, state of art building. The entire operation of Direnzo Towing was then shifted to Millbury. We have since purchased an additional piece of property at 28 Southgate Street in Worcester, MA to expand our operation. Both locations are staffed ²⁴⁄₇ for expedient service.

While working in a rock quarry right out of St Johns high school in 1996, John Direnzo purchased a 1986 flatbed. He began towing cars and moving equipment with the flatbet while working at the quarry in 1999. John ended up purchasing a small wrecker and another flatbed by 2000. This year, he went full time into the towing business. John also is the owner of Above All Sign and Graphics which is located at 22 West Street in Millbury, MA which does truck lettering. John also is the Central MA Director of the Statewide Towing Association. Additionally, he also owns Direnzo Garage which has a fleet of dump trucks for rent and construction equipment and also does remedial cleanups. John has his CDL License, which is a heavy duty certification for towing and recovery along with a hazwopper certification.
