Dr. Gayle Misle is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. She was an Intern and resident in the Department of Anesthesiology at The University of Nebraska and the University of California at Davis.

She was the Chief of the Anesthesia department at San Leandro Hospital and is now the Director of Anesthesiology at San Leandro Surgery Center. Dr. Misle is a member of the American Academy of Antiaging Medicine as well as a participant in the Fellowship on Antiaging Medicine, and the masters program for Antiaging Medicine. She has completed comprehensive training programs for aesthetic procedures and laser systems, including Smartlipo, Sciton Profractional, Skintyte, Microlaser peel, intense pulsed light treatments, Cynosure Elite, hair removal, vein treatments, and pigment lesion therapy. She attended courses for Cynosure Affim, skin tightening and wrinkle reduction system as well as sclerotherapy training for spider veins.

I have been going to Reviv for over a year now after moving from the East Coast. I have had a variety of treatments including: laser, botox, fillers and BBL (Broadband Light Laser). First, I would like to describe my results. Simply, I have had incredible results! Friends on the East Coast have told me «California must be treating you well» and new friends on the West Coast have admired my skin. It looks natural, fresh and not overworked. I feel 10 years younger. (I am in my mid 40’s.)
Second, and most importantly, the staff is terrific. They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable and kind. I trust Dr. Misle and appreciate her conservative and honest approach. As a fellow health care professional, CRNA, I understand the value and importance of exemplary care. I highly recommend Reviv.

My stars right now are based on my first impression and my first (and so far only) appointment. The facility is beautiful and the staff is very friendly, warm and non judgmental. The Dr. took time to get to know me and understand exactly what I am looking for. I have read other reviews and I think when doing any of these services it is important to know that different services will work differently and sometimes take more time on certain people than others. Sometimes initial predictions won’t be accurate, but you can adjust your treatments to get desired results.
Everything I have seen so far is great and I am looking forward to my follow up appointment. I will follow up with more information!

My first visit was in December 2015 and Dr. Misle gave 10 years back to my face! She has given me a boost in my attitude and self confidence. On that visit I had Voluma, Juvederm, Botox and a facial. My skin looks and feels great. I have received a lot of compliments on how my face and skin looks! I have an appointment each week to have Spectra treatments which has gotten rid of my dark spots and blemish scars after 5 treatments! Today I told Dr. Misle I want to improve the texture below my cheeks and she suggested Exilis. I respect her, she is very knowledgeable, patient, gentle and caring so I decided to give Exilis a try and I know the outcome will be more than I hoped for!
I love Reviv Spa, thank you Dr. Misle for helping me to look and feel great. You are amazing!

This place sucks. As a patient who have gone through a consultation appointment already, I have a very good impression at the beginning, and have called to schedule a follow up appointment. However, the whole process totally screwed up, and here is why:
— Price Rip-​Off: I was interested in the profractional laser treatment. After the consultation, I got the pricing to be $ 350. However, when I try to book the actual procedure a few weeks later, they told me they are going to charge me $ 550 instead because there is a micro-​resurfacing service that need to be bundled with the laser. What a rip-​off! I have already turned down other clinics before hearing that.
— No commitment: I have called more than 5 times trying to get hold of the doctor, and every time they says the doctor would call me back by end of the day. Unfortunately, I have never got any call back from anyone, and that only one doctor at this clinic is super busy to talk to you. It seems that they don’t care about the patient, and they don’t care to keep their promise. Very unprofessional.
— The nurses are very unprofessional and unfriendly. They told me to look for other places after a few discussion on their price inconsistency and their super busy schedules.
There are so many good clinics in Bay area. Stay away from this place since you won’t get the level of respect that you deserve.

I just left my appointment and I am extremely happy with the customer service at this facility. The receptionist was very helpful and answered all my questions and Dr. Gayle Misle was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and extremely gentle! Thank you again! I cannot wait to see the results!

I started seeing Dr. Misle about 8 months ago for severe Rosacea. I had never had any treatment for it and it had gotten to the point where I had numerous visible capillaries and just looked red all the time. After 5 BBL treatments and a couple laser treatments my capillaries are gone and my redness is greatly reduced. Dr. Misle really worked with me to adjust the treatments so I would get the maximum results. This is not a cure for rosacea and will require some upkeep but it is so worth it. I was usually swollen after the procedure for about 48 hours, but Dr. Misle indicated that this could be because my rosacea was so bad. That’s the only downtime I had. I highly recommend the treatment and Dr. Misle if you suffer from rosacea.

Hoping to update with more stars when I see results.
Had coolsculpting a week ago and can best describe the pain I’m having as SEARING, STABBING, and AWFUL.
I feel like they downplayed how much pain I might be in. To be fair, I did research and realize I’m in the small 10−15% group who gets this nerve pain.
The first few days I was just swollen and numb. For the past couple days it’s been terrible. There is NO WAY I could continue with a daily routine, exercise, or stand being at work.

Nice spa feeling location. However, I had health issues that were concerning and even though I called a week after my apt. was made, when I found out about issues, to cancel, they were completely unaccommodating. I get their policy but due to health and other reasons that were they should have been accommodating and understanding.. Also, they never offered a consultation I was spontaneous and bought one of those $ 1800 deals. deal?! Not! I have talked to many people who said the places they went to insisted on a face to face consultation. I think this is against the law! They also told me they had pre bought treatment. When I finally went because I didn’t want to waste the cash. The doctor was rude. Ironically, she had another treatment on hand and I spent almost 500 more to make it work. I I immediately, noticed another line had actually formed and returned 2 weeks later. The sweet girl at the desk also noticed when we looked at photos. By the way, I waited a half hour in the waiting room for the doctor to say to me I was fine, and «what did I expect? You were completely depleted» this made me feel horrible as I had already been sad about my face after loosing weight. In front of the entire waiting room she said «what did you expect? And what exactly do you want?» Terrible customer service. Botox between eyes did work. Just still so saddened by treatment where I only asked for a refund and felt bad about how I looked. I feel worse now. All they had to do was help me out.

Everything everyone said in other reviews about this Dr is true. The facility is beautiful and I almost felt like I was keeping her as she really sat and just chatted with me about … me. Not the typical white coat «rush you in and the nurse will follow up.» She does everything herself. I recently lost weight and my face was gaunt and major bags under my eyes really were noticeable. I’ve done botox before but was really unsure about fillers… I did cheek voluma here and a little botox and a month later — I am still so so so happy. My husband doesn’t even know I did it and even my mother-​n-​law was commenting on «the kardashians» and how people who do fillers look so bad. All the while I was sitting across from her looking amazing and natural. While I still have slight «bags» of puffy fat under my eyes — the slight lift on my cheeks have dramatically reduced the signs of this and I really can’t tell that I’ve had anything done. I love how I look. She is not only a doctor but I think it takes a real artist to do this right. I also had VERY LITTLE bruising. Only a small spot on one of my cheeks where one of the punctures went in but it was gone within 4 – 5 days. I took Bromelain (supplement) and Arcadia (gel) before and after to help.

I am so thankful that I came across Dr Misle. I actually got the referral from my sister who works closely with different types of doctors. This is a huge plus, as the average person really has no clue about a doctors clinical quality!
Dr Misle is so personable, relatable, and down to earth. I love that my face looks so natural and not fake. She custom designed what was needed for my face. I just wanted a natural, refreshed look.
Lastly, the results are exactly what I had in mind and I’m so mad at myself I didn’t do this sooner! I highly recommend Dr Misle!

Went in 2 weeks ago on a Groupon Botox treatment for my first time. Dr. Misle was extremely kind she recommended a check filler VOLUMA and Juvéderm lip filler as we completed treatment I look great. She is Amazing and I love how I look.

after many years of doing laser hair removal this Dr. is by far the best Dr. I have ever gone to in my life. what a blessing to have found her! every Dr. that i’ve seen has blown me off or treated me like i was just another pt. Dr. Misle was so caring and for my initial consultation i was really nervous because i’ve had such issues in the past with swelling and blistering. after one treatment with her i can already see the difference! i can’t wait to come back! this place is worth every penny.

She listens, she looks carefully and she sincerely cares. She knows your face is the face of her company and staff so nothing but the best. She is karmically charged, she probably doesn’t realize but I consider her a friend now and confidant! The location itself is just gorgeous, zen spa tranquility with all the literature you need at your disposal. Very kind staff also. I am lucky and so will you be when going there. They are all sweet yet not overbearing and not too aloof like some places you go. you know what I mean. Ask questions she will educate you in detail. You’re welcome!

Dr. Misle is amazing! I went in for a consultation and she completely took her time to get to know everything about me and my needs. I wanted botox but she told me I didn’t need it. Really??? Who does that? Apparently, Dr. Misle does! She didn’t try to sell me anything! What a completely refreshing and unexpected experience! She is completely honest, knows her stuff and definitely will not sell you something you do not need. I can only say I would NEVER go anywhere else at this point. I found a gem, Dr. Misle.

It’s been a little over 2 weeks and the Botox is holding up, I still have movement in my forehead and I thought because it got SO much, my forehead would be expression free (which is what I wanted). Whatever, a little movement is ok, I suppose.
I’m not happy with the Juvyderm Ultra at this point. My lips have pretty much gone back to what they originally looked like. I paid SO MUCH for that one syringe, it should last AT LEAST 4 months! UGHHH. I feel like it was a waste of money. They’re a tiny, tiny bit plumper but nobody even can tell I had them done. I’ve asked so many friends and they say, «They look the same». Not what I want to hear especially after spending a TON on the service. I could go back and complain but since the product is so damn expensive I can’t imagine the Doc is going to give me any additional injections (touch ups) for free. The only time they were the size I wanted was when they were swollen directly after being injected. Hmph.

Excellent visit again at revive. I’ve been going to Dr Misle for years and I never leave disappointed. I’ve done PRP, Fraxel, exilis and fillers and my face has never looked better! I know my face has lost a lot of volume over the years and with all the treatments I’ve done, I see such an improvement in texture, tone and volume.
