Two Techs

Very honest and helpful. I called about a problem with my laptop. I was told exactly what it was and that I could do it myself pretty easily. No pressure to come in. I did exactly what the man said and fixed it myself. Very happy with the fact that I wasn’t told to come in and spend my money. Thanks very much.

Hired Jerry to come to my home to set up my home entertainment system. He did an amazing job wiring all the systems and components, we had everything from a surround sound stereo, a couple of DVD players, a VHS, and a Tivo wired up to a 72″ flat screen television. Jerry was very patient. After all the setup, he walked me through each component and how they interacted with the remote control… making it look so easy. A great experience for me overall. I would highly recommend Jerry at Two Techs any time!

Just refreshing this because it keeps on falling off, don’t know how or why, but this guy was a dishonest nightmare. Until he is out of business, this will continue. I believe someone may be telling Unilocal to remove it, or that I am talking about someone else. No, it is Jerry at Two Techs in Mill Valley. DON’T USE THIS GUY, HE ACTUALLY BROKE MY ELECTRONICS MORE WHEN HE «TOOK THE LIBERTY OF REPAIRING IT BEFORE APPROVAL»!
I will NEVER EVER go here again. The only reason why there is 1 star is because you have to put one! STAY AWAY.
Here’s what happened to me:
I brought in 3 pieces of A/​V equipment and «Jerry» told us that he would create a quote and call us. We were gone on a trip, and after we returned we got his message. We called up and said «We will be picking up the equipment because it’s not worth paying these prices to fix them». He said, «Well two of the three items are already fixed.» My husband called them to find out what was going on and he said «You can pick them up any time. If you don’t want them fixed, come on down and we will talk.»
Upon arrival, I asked him why he took the liberty of fixing them and he said «It was my mistake.» Then he asked if he could buy the fixed ones, and I said no. He had a very bad attitude, like he was angry because he had already fixed the units and all he was going to get paid was the deposit on the diagnosis. Then I said «Well, my brother is an electronics guy and he will take a look at them.» He said, «Well, they WERE fixed, now they are not.»
I said «What are you saying?» Jerry said, «I disabled the ones that were fixed. I can’t let them go out of here fixed if you don’t want to pay the amount in my quote.» I said «Your mistake should not be my problem and now, instead of fixing my units, I have to diagnose what you did to them to disable them!»
On the way out, he WASN’T going to give me a quote with the information about what was wrong with the units (which we had alreay paid for). I had to ask him for the quote and then proceeded to indicate my discontent with his service.
Now are you READY FOR THIS? Jerry says: «It hasn’t been a satisfactory experience for me either.»
Now I was angry. Imagine this, he makes a mistake, disables my «fixed» units, and sends me back with some busted parts, tries to buy the hardware and then says he’s unsatisfied with «the experience» of this transaction? Really?
Then I noticed when he came over with the units that he had «hurriedly» put the covers back on and there was screws missing, and sawdust inside that wasn’t there before. I found out as I was bringing one item back to the car that it had a piece now rattling around inside of it THAT WASN’T THAT WAY BEFORE.
I talked with his partner who does the computer repair and he was VERY QUICK to distance himself from the other «tech» saying «Did he run a guilt trip on you?». I said yes, and that Two Techs just made «the worst of Mill Valley», and he said «That happens a lot but please make sure everyone knows it’s not the computer business!»
Bottom line is that I would stay completely away from Jerry and his little electronics repair rip-​off house. He was very expensive, angry, unfriendly, and generally not a nice person. Most importantly, he gave them back to me in a form that I had to take them to another repair shop who said «Oh we clean up his messes all the time.»
Stay away! They get a «0» stars rating from me!

Brought in my machine for just a basic issue and he fixed it while I waited at the counter, so simple there was no charge. Funny guys and a lively place for a computer shop. I will be telling all my friends and anyone else who will listen to frequent this place. Dale is a kick and Jerry is just as funny. Pc & Mac repairs plus they fix TV’s. All in all A great experiance, Oh and the big one is they are more than resonable with there price’s.
