Decades of listening carefully, contributing practical expertise and exceeding expectations. I design, procure, install, network, and maintain (by remote access anywhere or on-​site in Marin) computers. I also do desktop computer repair at your site. I build websites: Traditional HTML, WordPress or beautiful Squarespace full screen sites. Not just another pretty website — Sites that Sell! Many web workers build pretty websites. Few are marketing experts who can build sites that sell. I specialize in sites built from the start for marketing and eCommerce, for home or small business.

I’m a long time digital artist (BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, where I also taught), veteran web geek, webmaster, website Designer/​Developer/​Marketer. I create, overhaul and administer sites and blogs to help you build long-​term business relationships, not just one-​shot sales.

Don’t hire a developer who doesn’t deeply understand online marketing. Many developers build sites which I must re-​build, just to make them marketable. Too many website builders think they understand marketing while their practical expertise is superficial. Be sure to check out their past marketing work.

History

Established in 1990.

After years of teaching fine art (San Francisco Art Institute) and many years of engineering and project management experience in Audio Engineering (recording studios and Jefferson Starship music group tours), Electronics, Acoustics & Vibration, I built my first personal computer a few months after Bill Gates and Paul Allen built their first. I then started helping others with their computers.

Eventually I started my professional computer consulting business. When the World Wide Web was developed, I started building web sites in 1996, and soon added Online Marketing to my skill set.

I built my first computer in 1976 (same kits as Bill Gates and Paul Allen built a few months earlier to start Microsoft). Been helping people with their computers ever since.

Always been half geek, half artist and all curiosity. I simply want to know everything about everything, and I’m not happy unless I’m making something — be it digital or photo art, writing another ebook or building/​fixing something for a client.
