We believe that collaboration is the best way to insure that everyone involved will have a fantastic time both during the planning process and the event. Marilyn McCann Events started over ten years ago from a desire to connect people, places and artists to produce fun, elegant and joyful celebrations.

Business Owner

Marilyn has produced and hosted many parties for celebrities, film stars, directors, producers, and well-​known writers and poets. With over a decade of experience, Marilyn brings a unique level of knowledge and training when planning and envisioning your event. Your special occasion will be planned and executed by someone who understands menus, food, its presentation and the hospitality that is the foundation for any great event. She is well known for her unique invitations that reflect her underlying belief that a fabulous event begins with the most fitting invitation. The deep-​rooted understanding of gracious hospitality is what sets her apart from other planners. In addition to the San Francisco Bay Area and the Napa Valley, she has planned events for clients and friends in Los Angeles and New York. Her early foundation for event planning includes apprenticeships at Alice Water’s famed Chez Panisse Restaurant and Café.
