Paddywack

Paddywack is a great local store with unique pet supplies and accessories. The staff is friendly and always eager to assist. Beyond that, pricing is outlandishly high and everything they sell. I came in for a leash and collar for my dog and found them to be $ 7 to $ 10 higher for each. That is unreal. Their location is prime retail space and I am sure it’s expensive but to have such a high mark-​up is crazy.
If you are looking for creative pet supplies and accessories, by all means stop by Paddywack. Just expect to pay a handsome premium when you make your purchase!

One of the best local pet stores! I used to frequent Petsmart until I started feeding higher quality food. I now frequent Mudbay and Paddywack, but have noticed that Paddywack prices tend to be lower than Mudbay.
Customer service is amazing. They are so friendly to me and my GSD. I take him in to train all the time and they don’t mind. If anything, they help!
The owners are awesome. They know customer service and will do anything to satisfy you and your pup’s needs. Above and beyond experiences for me, constantly.
If they don’t have your brand in store, ask them. Chances are they can have it specially ordered just for you. No extra charge. How cool is that?

I love this place. They have Orijen dog food, which I can’t always find other places. The cutest selection of cat and dog toys, and the best treats. I love how many high quality and natural products they have. It’s not exactly cheap, but well worth the quality of the products they sell.

I love taking my dog to paddywack and she enjoys it too. Love the bowls of water for dogs. The staff is extremely friendly and always helpful. They have a good selection of treats and toys. We’ve been to mudbay a few times and while they have good products some of the staff seem a little snooty. We’ve never had that issue at paddywack.

Great customer service, people know their stuff and always are super nice to Kodi (Siberian Husky). Vanessa– is super nice lady and takes her role in the store serious– all in stride. Carol is also super nice. No wonder Kodi leads us to them. Or rather their hands for a treat or a nice tap on the head (more like both:)

I absolutely love this shop. I used to go to petco for everything and then I found this place. They are actually LESS expensive compared to the other major pet stores, and yes, you’d think a little pup boutique would be spendy but, no. They also have a rewards program; spend $ 200 get $ 10 off. (Which is easy for me since I’m there all the time.)
Customer service is excellent. They greet you as soon as you walk in and always thank you for stopping by. They can answer any questions and order products they’ve sold out of. They are pretty good at keeping customers happy.
I would definitely suggest checking this place out before you go back to petsmart or petco. And of course they are dog friendly.

I love Paddywack! My favorite part about this store are the events they do, with the Halloween scavenger hunt with your dog being the best! They always have new toys & treats regularly. It’s not the same old same old.

great small business with quality food, toys and accessories. i usually go here for specific food that my dogs like that Petco/​PetSmart don’t offer and its close to the house. they are very similar to a mudbay and the prices are similar to mb as well (higher than the main pet stores). they offer bulk treats, special cookies and some seahawks gear. once in a while they will have some great offers and discounts (holiday or when they are bringing in new products).
helpful staff, clean store and they will say hi to your furry child (ren) and give them a treat.

At first glance and based on location you might expect this to be a pricey boutique dog store.
Actually the prices are very competitive and usually beat those of Mud Bay. They have a good variety of pet supplies and the staff is helpful.
Definitely worth dropping in!

I don’t shop here often (my 5 lb Yorkie takes forever to eat a large bag of kibble) but I always buy her food here. They have wonderful little handmade gourmet treats and a great selection of toys, sweaters and a frequent shopper discount. Staff is friendly and it is convenient to all my regular shopping/​errand stops.

Great place to shop! Great prices on practically everything they sell. They always greet my dog and my dog absolutely loves all the staff at Paddywack! They are knowledgable and helpful. Will be a lifelong customer!

Great place for pets. They have free water and treats for your pets. The staff is friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need before you leave the store. Our dog loves this place and looks forward to coming here whenever we are in the neighborhood. This is a must go to if you own a dog.

My boyfriend and I live up the street and stop in when we need snacks/​food for our small Chihuahua. Our dog loves the homemade crocodile-​shaped treats, which are made from potatoes. The staff is so friendly and a great help whenever we ask questions about a product. I wish they’d open a grooming section!

I absolutely love this store. The staff is super friendly and all of the food products are high quality. This is now the only store I will buy supplies for my dog.

The staff is always friendly and helpful here. I love how they have a great selection of quality items and they have an adoption area for cats and kittens. We frequently visited them when considering adopting a kitten, but now that we are getting a puppy we will be going to paddywack for a different reason! Love the location in the mill creek town center as well.

Paddywack is my favorite pet store in the area. The employees are super helpful and they have a really nice variety of grain free foods for pets that have allergy issues. Also, tons of toys, treats, leashes, and clothing (if you like to dress your pets up).
It is a little spendy but you are getting quality products. And happy animals.

Paddywack is A-​OK. I expect a lot out of pet stores, especially ones that charge more. My boyfriend and I had just finished at the vet and decided our four legged child needed a new collar and some toys for being so good. So being the pet store junkies we’ve become, we stopped at Paddywack. First thing we noticed was they had plenty of water out for the four legged vistors. Nice touch!
Looking for dog toys, you’ve come to the right place. They are loaded with lots of options. I didn’t see our dogs favorite Wubba toy but we ended up finding her rope for tug a war.
Looking for a collar or leash– eh. They didn’t have a very big selection, disappointing to be honest. Almost no options as far as harnesses. Harlow being an English Bulldog she can be difficult to find something cute but sturdy (strong like bull… dog!)
Looking for dog food or treats, they have lots to choose from. We don’t get our dog food here but Harlow had fun sniffing all the treat bags and their awesome dog bone bins.
Cats: Seems to take up ¹⁄₃ of the store with cat stuff, pretty large section compared to other pet stores. If I was a cat lover, I would come here.
We will be back, especially during summer. They have an excellant location for walking your dog around the town center and ending here for some treats!

I like that this place is boutiquey and i’m the first to jump up and support my local community businesses. I love their little cat toy bins (inexpensive and mostly locally made); my kitties faves are the catnip «candy» and crinkle balls.
But I’m not in 100% agreement with some other reviewers when it comes to customer service. The last time I was there, a customer came in with two dogs and one of them promptly urinated on one of the display legs INSIDE the store and the employees at the time seemed to be in no hurry whatsoever to clean it up. The customer was thoroughly embarrassed and apologetic and asked for some cleaning supplies and the gal behind the counter made her feel worse by becoming exasperated and appearing inconvenienced. Really? All the big pet stores have clean-​up stations posted throughout, what do you expect when you allow the animals inside? I felt so bad for that customer.
