I began a career in the mortgage industry after experiencing a terrible encounter with a loan officer while purchasing our first home. During 2006 and 2007 I began to follow Dave Ramsey, a financial planner, and realized I could combine his philosophy to a mortgage and decided to build my own brand of mortgage lending. Education and knowledge is the key to making sound financial decisions, and teaching my clients that a mortgage IS one of the biggest financial tools you’ll ever have!

When it comes to buying a home, small differences between banks can amount to thousands of dollars. Dan locked us into an excellent rate and helped us secure a loan with payments well below our expectations. He secured us an amazing mortgage and made the entire process simple and effortless on our part. He and his team were always available to answer our frequent questions, and when the time came to make an offer on a home, he made sure we could waive financing in order to have a fast close. A lot of the other banks and agents we talked with treated us like we didn’t matter, and were generally difficult to work with. This is likely because of the booming market and the fact that another customer is likely right around the corner for them. Dan never treats you like that. His prompt responses let you know that you matter and that he takes your questions and concerns seriously. The fact he also provides excellent financing options and helps ensure you have everything necessary to make the best possible offer make recommending him an easy choice.

My wife and I are first time home buyers who were slightly anxious about the unknowns in the process of getting a loan. A friend referred us to Dan Keller and his group, saying they had rates comparable to big banks but were much more personable. Our first thought was that paying a bit more would be worth the answered questions, so we gave it a try.
First of all, we were pleasantly surprised to see that they did not cost any more than big banks, but actually saved us money by really trying to lock down our interest rate at the best time during the month while the house details were going through. On top of that, they were great about giving quick and detailed responses to any questions or concerns along the way. The several times that we met with Dan, he was clearly very knowledgeable and made us feel like we were in good hands.
Next time we need a loan, I don’t think we will hesitate to use Dan Keller’s group again. We recommend that you give them a try, especially if the whole loan process seems a bit over your head.

After an awful experience with Wells Fargo, Dan and his team swept in and saved the day. We found the perfect house and were not ready to let it go. We thought it might be a long shot to get our loan through a second process in only 3 weeks, but Dan made it happen just in time. Can’t say enough about Dan and his team. I am a real estate broker in Northwest Washington and encourage all of the buyers we are working with to contact Dan and use him if they are financing their home. I could go on and on about how he has saved the day on different deals or pulled a rabbit of his hat at the last minute when a different lender couldn’t make it happen but in the end, the best way to see how good he is, is to contact him and use him when you get a loan or refinance.

Honestly after reading these reviews I was skeptical about them being fake. Possibly Dan’s friends or family trying to hype him up. People do not get this good of reviews. I was wrong; after working with Dan I can honestly say he was great. We had a near impossible situation that most advisors/​brokers would have either said no, or said yes and fell short. Dan treated us as if we were his only clients even though we know he was busy with many others. Dan was reachable when we needed him and very pleasant to work with. Any areas Dan had concerns with not being able to meet our requests he disclosed to us immediately. This is refreshing as many others will not let you know until it’s too late. At that point you typically can’t get a hold of them. Dan never seemed to be about making the sell, rather wanting what’s best for us. Dan’s rates were great, but I want to mention one thing. One of our «shop around» rates were lower, although after digging further we found it was because the other lender padded other rates/​fees to make up for it. If shopping around, look at the rates and fees closely before deciding. My guess is Dan will be able to work with you if he is not already the lowest. I think this guy really has the right idea. Do business right and the word of mouth will praise you and bring you plenty of clients.
