Cedar Cross Cooperative Preschool

We spent 5 years at this school between my 2 kids and fell in love with it. I wasn’t sure what co-​op meant, but a friend recommended Teacher Correne. Working in my child’s classroom was fun. I got to meet lots of great kids and parents and learned how to be a better parent from the experience. The teachers are very loving. When I had problems with my child, they were a great resource and helped us through some tough times. Co-​op is hard work, but was worth it. If you’re looking for a sterile environment with rulers and worksheets, this is not the place to go. If you’re looking for a place where your kids can learn about worms, pour their own cup of water (and spill sometimes!), paint, explore and run on the playground, it might be a good fit. 15 kids to one teacher and 3 working parents provides an enviroment where everyone gets the attention and direction they need.

It’s hard for me to put into words how much I love this school. I only have one child so I’m sad that once this school year is over, we only have one more year left in the program. Finding a good preschool means finding the right fit for both the parents and the child. I knew the first time that I walked into the door, this school was the right fit for us. I know that a co-​op does not work for everybody but if you’re considering one, definitely give CCCP a try!
I love all of the teachers at the school, they are all amazing! They all take a personal interest in all of their students and really get to know them and their personalities. The activities and lessons that the teachers plan for the children are not only educational and age appropriate, they are a lot fun for the kids!
CCCP is a fantastic environment. Not only is it great place for the kids to play and learn, it’s a great chance for the parents to be involved with their child’s school and meet other parents. I’ve made friends with the other parents in the school and I know that those friendships will continue beyond my daughter’s preschool years.
I love Cedar Cross Co-​op and recommend it anybody looking for a preschool!
