Sunrise Prosthetics & Orthotics provides complete orthotic and prosthetic services to patients throughout Central Massachusetts from our conveniently located Worcester and Milford O&P facilities. We use state-​of-​the-​art technology to produce lightweight, energy-​efficient prostheses and orthoses in order to obtain the greatest possible functional outcomes. We have extensive experience in pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric O&P care, and have serviced patients with injuries, amputations, and a variety of neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions. Our receptionist is bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English) and available to translate as needed, and most of our forms are available in Spanish as well as English.

Sunrise Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. was established in 2007 after the owner acquired the assets of Prosthetic & Orthotic Labs of Worcester, where she had worked as an employee for 9 years.

Meet the Business Owner

Karen L.

Business Owner

Karen M. Lynch, CPO, CFm, Chief Practitioner

Ms. Lynch is the Chief Orthotic/​Prosthetic Practitioner and President of Sunrise P&O. She attended UMass on a full academic scholarship and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1989. She worked as an Orthotic/​Prosthetic Technician at Pioneer Valley Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc., then attended the Newington Orthotics and Prosthetics Practitioner Certification Programs and graduated Valedictorian of her class.

Ms. Lynch received her Certification in Orthotics from The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) in 1996 and became a Certified Prosthetist/​Orthotist in 2001. She has the necessary training and credentials to provide post-​mastectomy products, scoliosis orthoses, and many high-​tech prosthetic and orthotic devices, including the latest microprocessor-​controlled knee orthoses and prostheses, myoelectric upper extremity prostheses, and the WalkAide device.
