I do not have any food allergies. This may be a one off. But I got the worst food poisoning of my life for 10 straight hours.

The services and food was just average nothing to brag about. If you want to stop and eat something quick that would be good. Was passing the area for work will stop here again in the future

Short review based on the idea that Pizza 85 is a quick pizza/sub/salad stop on the way home from 495. The food is not bad — the salads are nice, the pizza and subs are good. I think there are better pizza shops in town, but the staff is friendly and the food isn’t bad, so you might find it worth a try.

I was pleasantly surprised for Pizza 85, given it’s location right off the highway. First of all, it’s a classic New England style Greek Pizza(see below). Anybody reviewing this place should be doing so based on that, and not comparing it to a Pizza Hut. It’s not the same thing. So, for a Greek Style Pizza, it’s one of the better I have found in this area. I was initially disappointed to see it come from a conveyer oven, and not the traditional rectangular pizza oven in these kinds of places. But surprise, surprise. It was very good and nothing was lost in the flavor for this style of pizza in this style of oven. Definitely my ‘go to’ when I’m down shopping in that area and its time to bring a pizza home for dinner. So what is Greek style pizza? The best way I describe it is, a light oily crust that bakes crispy, with sweet red sauce, and topped with a blend of mozzarella and white cheddar that leaves a perfect consistency and amount of oil on top from the melted cheese. The ratio/blend of cheese varies from place to place. Additional toppings are usually sliced super thin and cook perfectly on the pizza getting a little dark/crispy on the edges.

You don’t go out of your way for it. But if it’s on your way they can take of you. Yes the pizza is just plain. I get the Italian sub toasted with everything, and it’s one of the best around. The salad is also decent. Have not tried anything else.

I was staying at a local hotel and passed here frequently. Had a pizza delivered. Pizza was fair but having previously worked at a Pizza Hut I quickly discovered that this is almost the same exact thing. I am kinda a pizza snob and this is not above any chain pizza. The sausage was better but the same crust from a pan and conveyor oven. If you want this pizza save some cash and clip a Pizza Hut coupon and order from there. Same same

A decent buffalo chicken pizza, thin crust which I liked. Chicken was a good spicy and not overpowering. Stuffed shells were big and sauce was good. Overall a decent pizza place.

Just ordered for delivery and it took an hour to get here. We called to confirm they were still coming. They didn’t apologize and still charged us. And the pizza was cold once it got to the house. Not ordering from here again.

I used to come in frequently because of their two large pizzas for $ 10 deal but once they stopped the promotion, the subpar quality of the pizza wasn’t worth it. There are much better pizza shops in the area. Even Dominoes is better.

This is by no stretch of the imagination a fancy place. This is, however, just a pizza joint. I had read reviews from other people saying that the people that work there are rude, but that was just the opposite in my eIxperience. had a pleasant talk with the young woman at the counter about my nails. After this she tells me that she will give me fresh slices from the oven when it comes out instead of the really, really old slice that was leftover. Score! She even dealt with my nonsense about cutting the edge of the pizza off that touched the pepperoni! So I would say all in all I will definitely be back for lunch in the near future.

The cheeseburger I had was okay. Nothing special, the Italian sub my gf had was again, not great. I would not rush back here.

Have had pizza and subs from here. The food is always fresh and delicious. While I agree with some of the comments about the lack of personality with the guy at the counter, I never have high expectations of a little pizza place like this. It’s not a sit down place. yes, there are small tables and chairs. I’m just looking for food that’s good with a decent price.

Ouch not good. Walk in and order and the server gives a sigh because I want to pay with a card. One strike. Order two slices of cheese pizza. They pull two slices out of a heating cabinet and instead of putting in their oven to give the a pizza a more fresh taste, they just give it to me. Sign on wall warns that owner is always right, not customer. Strike Two. The pizza was awful. Cheese was coagulated and the crust tasted like a stale breadstick. Strike Three your out.

Ordered a steak and cheese sub from a location about 1.5 mi from them. They took 1hr and 15min. Sub arrived Luke warm. Dry. Toasted when I asked it not to be. And they charged me a $ 3 delivery fee. Horrible.

Unlike previous unhappy reviewers, we were very happy with the food & service. We actually stumbled upon this place when out for a ride on a nice day. Hungry and not wanting to search for someplace else, we tried Pizza 85 anyway. Pizza was great, authentic taste, not fast food flavor. Small items on the pizza, not huge chunks. We found the man — who could have been the owner — very friendly and personable. Definately worth the drive.

85’s pizza is just awful. Its cooked on one of those conveyor belt ovens that spits out your pizza on about five minutes. The cook needs to use gloves when handing money and then preparing the food. The subs are good size and are generally under 7 bucks. There are better choices in Milford for pizza and subs then Pizza 85.

Food is okay but the service sucks. I put in an order in person once and the owner didn’t say one word but«sign here». Go down the street to Gourmet Pizza across from Stop and Shop — wayyy nicer people, much better food.
