This is one my go to lunch spots! I love how they show you the calories on the menu. I love the Japanese pan noodles with shrimp, but I would steer away from the pad Thai it doesn’t have enough sauce. They offer 2 sizes in each dish which is nice if your not hungry enough for the mammoth portion. You can’t leave this place without trying the huge rice crispy treats, they are heavenly!

I often go to Noodle & Co when I have a taste for a fairly quick pasta dish and their delicious garlic bread. The bread is really what keeps me going back for more… although the food selections are good and the prices are pretty decent. Missing my Italian food on the go or some may say Fast Food Italian like Fazoli’s…this is the next best thing… would be even awesomer(i know… not a word, but I will use anyway)…if they had a drive thru. Although given their location that probably wouldn’t work. So… after driving thru what feels like several roundabouts… sort of like a noodle drive to get to some noodles… I would say Noodles&Co is a great choice for a few pasta or salad inspired dishes. The staff is very friendly(they give me free cookies every now and then). I believe they also have a mini bar… adult beverage anyone? All in all they have the feel of a fast food dine in restaurant like a Panera or something but with a mini bar flavor like Capital Ale. Maybe not the best comparison, but I hope you get what I’m trying to say.

This review is for the location at Alverser and Huguenot Rds. When they add this location to Unilocal I will place it on their page. First visit– Slow, because they were too busy dumping buckets of charity Ice water on each other. Order was wrong — filled a 9oz to-go bowl half full. Second visit on Friday at 7pm — They were OUT of egg noodles for Stroganoff, so ordered mac-n-cheese which was dry and flavorless.

I’ve heard great things about Noodles for awhile. I was pleased to find they don’t just serve, well, NOODLES. They have a bunch of varied dishes(salads, chicken tikka masala) from different cultures. I tried the thai hot pot that surprisingly had a very authentic, spicy broth(despite this being a chain run by all white people) and liked the different iced tea options they had as well. They even have a fun touch screen soda dispenser that all the kids were having fun with. Overall, I like the place’s commitment to organic and hormone/pesticide free products and quality meat. And who can forget kids eat free unlimited bowls of mac & cheese on Monday nights!

Happiness is 20 different ways to eat noodles. I just heard a recent report that pasta consumption is related to depression. I am 100% convinced that correlation does not mean causation in this situation. In fact, I’m convinced that people eat pasta when they’re depressed, and it makes them feel better, if only during their meal. This is by no means gourmet eating — but it’s Qdoba for noodles(which may or may not be of the Italian inspiration). Please note: I compared it to Qdoba, because Qboba is better than Chipotle — I had very specific intentions. I’ve been to this location twice, and ordered the Chicken Pad Thai(meh — not terrible, not amazing). The last time, however, I was full on impressed by the Thai Hot Pot(if any east coaster has eaten at the UC Davis Coffee House — this is the only thing I’ve found that’s comparable to their Phở Curry). The chicken and pork are included in the soup — in most other dishes meat is an additional cost. I also added a cucumber tomato salad on the side for $ 1.00, which was delicious. And don’t forget your fountain drink, because the Coca Cola Freestyle Machine is the best thing ever!

I absolute love the casual atmosphere of this restaurant. For just a few dollars more than McDonald’s or any other fast food joint you can eat real food!!! Amazing isn’t it. The first problem is deciding what to eat. With all of the different varieties of noodles, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, American, etc, it is very hard to decide. Their sandwiches and soups are also very good. Frankly I have not eaten anything here that wasn’t good. You order at a cashier and are given a number and to food comes out to you. Then someone else also cleans the table. You are responsible for retrieving your own drinks. They have a wide variety of unique bottle beverages and an unbelievable soda machine. They also offer a few varieties of wine. Overall this is a very quick an economic alternative to eating fast food. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for our food to arrive.
