We are a family owned and operated business that has served the southland for 50 years! At our Midlothian location, we specialize in new and used tires. We also carry a full line of Interstate batteries that fit most vehicles on the road.

History

Established in 1967.

In 1967, Empire Tire & Battery opened for the first time in Markham, Illinois. We have since moved from our original location and grown over the years thanks to the continued patronage of our local customers and friends. Today, we have two shops in Midlothian and Orland Park. Our Midlothian location opened in 1971. Shortly after this, we opened the Orland Park location as a warehouse. In short time, our Orland Park shop turned into a retail center and then an automotive service center.

It’s our goal to meet your needs and give you the best automotive shop experience possible. We’re known in Cook County for our selection of tires, batteries and custom rims, as well as our professional automotive services. Mike has been working at Empire for over 15 years with the majority of his time being served as the manager in Midlothian. Mike is extremely hard working and dedicated to his customers. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. He is more than happy to help.
