Specialties
Taste @ 508 is a delicious café featuring an organic, locally-sourced menu.
Taste @ 508 serves fresh, local ingredients such as organic chicken and grass-fed beef.
We serve delicious Lavazza coffee and fresh croissants in the morning. For lunch, «to-go» foods such as paninis and chilled dishes that are prepared in the morning such as risotto or pasta are served.
History
Established in 2013.
The main idea is to keep it local. We found ranches near Midland and Lubbock that are our providers. We look forward to becoming a staple in the community!
Meet the Business Owner
Tim R.
Business Owner
I’ve always believed in the long way around. Originally, my life started after a bachelors degree from Texas A&M University. GIG ‘EM AGS! However, I never fit into business very well.
In 2007 I attended culinary school and felt a real kitchen was home for me. I interned at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia for a year and moved on to several hotels in Australia, finally landing my own restaurant at Hotel CBD in Varsity Lakes, Queensland where we attained a small list of accolades.
In 2010 I moved back to America and took over our family business, Lori’s Café, and began this small catering company. Our growth has been exponential in both businesses, and our focus on catering and commitment to quality and local ingredients where available is key.
