Prices are low, good clothing is available. Donations are really tax-​deductible (if it matters to your accountant, ymmv at other thrifts). Selection limited mainly by area of this older house.
During my last visits I shared enjoyable conversations with the Middletown Methodist Women (who aren’t all Methodists, surprisingly!). Today’s experience is atypical. Wednesday, eighteen minutes after opening time: nobody home. As the sign says, «Shop staffed by volunteers. Hours may vary.»
