I am highly dedicated to providing outstanding service every step of the way. Wide-​ranging expertise and experience enables me to tackle most any home challenge. History

Established in 2004.

I started my business with the idea that I wanted to offer something different. Having been a child with very little, I quickly learned how to make the best out what I had been afforded. Too often today, we think we need a total overhaul. However, there are many times when we only need help optimizing a space by using existing furnishings and accessories, decluttering and/​or organizing, and if necessary, using color for that finishing touch. Rest assured, I will use my talent, savvy and resources to help create a beautiful and inviting space that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Our clients are involved in as much of the process as they prefer. Making this as fun as humanly possible while reducing the financial burden of what creating a beautiful home can mean is an important aspect of my approach. I have a heart for helping people and a drive and determination to get it right each and every time. This is what sets LTB Designs apart from others.

My name is Tamara Akers, owner of LTB Designs, a Frederick County MD based residential Interior Decorating company that offers full-​service Decorating, Redesign, Organization and Color Consulting. Design and construction have been an innate passion of mine since I was a child. From romping around in the woods building forts to decorating each of my childhood friends’ rooms, the need to create has always been as necessary as air.
