Long wait for food; when it actually did come the shrimp was undercooked, the steak was cooked rare instead of medium, and it was way to costly.

Just a quick note. Try the new Steak Stout special & the Raspberry Ice Tea specials. Great comfort food for a cold February!

The management is terrible. We were standing right in front of the desk and they didn’t acknowledge us.

Server was friendly(Joe?) and everything came out in a timely fashion. I’m never blown away but never really disappointed either. Bar drink was tasty. Probably a better place to go to the bar for drinks and apps than to sit down and eat. Will probably be back though.

We received an Applebee’s gift card and decided to use it one Saturday night. Me: table of three please Hostess: that will be either 20 minutes or 40 minutes It’s impossible to tell Me: ok well do you think it will be closer to 20 or 40 minutes? Hostess: it depends on if the kitchen blows up. If the kitchen blows up it will be 40 minutes Me: are you expecting the kitchen to blow up? Hostess: yes After our 40 minute wait during which there were several open tables, we were greeted by our friendly server. I ordered a small plate trio: quesadilla, sriracha shrimp and crunchy wings. All were good. I am glad the kitchen didn’t completely blow up.

Horrible place. The seating station when you first come in is run by a bunch of rude young kids who dont care about anything. The mojitos were horrible and so over priced. Got the new triple bacon cheeseburger and it only had two small pieces of bacon on it. The waitress was okay she seemed like she was miserable the whole time. Save your time go somewhere else. Absolutely horrible!!!

Here is my ultimate comment — ADDMOREVEGETARIANDISHES!!! The majority of dishes, like many other chains, includes chicken or bacon. There are many of us who don’t eat these animals, but I do crave the wonderful, friendly atmosphere A’s is famous for. I like the beer selection, I like the courteous staff. But come on! Give me a break on the meat dishes!!! And I don’t mean carrots and zuccini. There are many many options nowadays(cheap, too) like pasta and cheese. I hope someone takes note of this, but this is why I can’t give it more stars*********

Good neighbor! My wife and I went in for the 2 for $ 20, which was tasty and served in a very friendly way by Dominick. The chicken wonton appetizers are out of sight good. My wife had a quesadilla burger, which was good but a bit peppery for her taste. I had the 9 oz steak which cost a couple dollars more, but there was not one scrap of waste. The garlic spinach was right on. To top things off, the next day I went to use the debit card I had used to pay with, and it was missing. After some serious heart throbs, I called Applebee’s and THEYHADIT. Many thanks to all, for a good meal and a big relief.

We had a free entrée coupon for a birthday, so we decided to use it. Food was a pleasant surprise We both had the house salad which was cold, presented well, and delicious. We both had the SHRIMP ‘N PARMESANSIRLOIN which tasted very good, we prepared properly, and we ordered french fries and mixed vegetables with it. The service was good. Will definitely go back

After going to a middle school graduation we decided to go to Applebee’s. It sounded like a good idea at the time. They have a special 2 for $ 20 dollar menu which included one appetizer + two entrees. We ordered the mozzarella sticks which were really good plus the spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips and it was delicious! The burgers looked amazing and boy did I regret my dinner choice. I had to get fancy and order the Bourbon street chicken and shrimp for my entrée. It was saltier than the dead sea. It was really ridiculously salty. Three other people I was with had the same thing and they thought the exact same thing. We couldn’t drink enough water afterwards to reduce the bloating. Another person I was with ordered the chicken basket tenders and that was good. In the future if I decide to go there again I will stick to the appetizers and the burgers.

Opening thoughts — Unless you’re going here to drink(which I don’t do) or as a last resort to «hang out,» you’re better off going most other places instead. Been here an unfortunate amount of times with my friends and rarely am I ever pleased with the food or the service. Service — It’s really hit or miss. Doug is good people. He doesn’t suck and is usually on his game. And maybe a few other servers. But Ryan SEEMS like an arrogant, miserable douche. So unless you are likely in your 30s or much older, he’s probably going to be less than delighted to be your server(and it’s pretty obvious) since he anticipates getting tipped poorly. It’s gotten to the point that not only do myself and friends plea with the hostess to not sit us in his area, we often hear from various other workers that we’re far from the only ones that don’t want to be around him. It’s a shame for him, because we usually tip very well, even on small orders. I’ve even tipped when all I’ve gotten was tap water. As for the food — I don’t know if it’s the fact that we usually go after 10pm(typically for the discount appetizers), but the food is just edible and forgettable almost every time. Unless it’s really bad, which is never forgotten. They make a pretty decent burger and chicken sandwich, but generally the fries they come with are not very good. Most other items I’ve tried on the menu are… ehhhhh. The desserts are also good, but it’s really hard to make a dessert taste bad. Almost forgot to mention — if you ever, EVER plan on going here on a Friday or Saturday night(and likely Sunday for that matter), be prepared to deal with an obscene about of ignorant, annoying high school and middle school students. It’s pure agony. I’m only 24 and I feel like murdering myself as soon as I walk in there on those nights… but I suppose it’s somehow better than sitting at home doing nothing.

Portions too small and have about half the time sent it back because it wasn’t warm enough. On the plus side, the staff is usually friendly. On occasion they do congregate in the back or at the hostess desk, but most times are attentive.
