I am not a fan of this Winn-Dixie. It is the closet to my home so I do fine myself there from time to time but my experiences are never pleasant. They are constantly out of weekly sale items, do not carry any organic fruits and the cashiers which are very limited always seem rude if they even speak a word to you at all. Thanks but no thanks, even with higher prices, I’ll stick to publix.

Horrible service. This place is going out of business by the way they treat customers. Can’t wait for the new Publix to open on 57th. One star is generous.

This supermarket is a total disaster. When you call, first they don’t answer the phone and then when they finally do answer they put you on hold forever and just leave you hanging forever. And I mean forever. Some of the young cashiers are quite rude and nasty in dealing with customers too. And when you call the company to complain, they don’t seem to solve the problems. Also they tend to discontinue products constantly so it’s become really difficult to shop there. I think they should totally clean up and get rid of management and a bunch of employees who seem to have better things to do than taking care of customers.

I love this market. It’s clean, and they carry typical market fare. Why I love this place is that they have an extensive array of regional foods like Mexican, Colombian, Peruvian, Dominican and of course Cuban. They also carry healthy foods like a brand that makes healthy ‘lucky charms and cinnamon toast crunch”. I can even find yerba mate from Argentina and pinolillo. They also have a self check out which is just awesome. I love this place because it’s a cross between sedano’s, and publix with a dash of whole foods. I heart this Winn Dixie.

To add to my last review — They now have a wing-bar… YES — A wing-bar — with flavors such as BBQ, Ranch, Buffalo, Teryaki… and they are not rinky-dink wings — no sir — they are big –effing juicy wings. I love wings — not everyday — but on occasion crave some good ones — and these were better than any dive bar — hands down. And not too bad for 5.99 p/lb.

I’m here at least 3 times a week so it’s time I got around to reviewing. There are a few constants at this WD: the produce is always fresh and plentiful the beer selection is shockingly good. They have 3 types of Rogue, a few Dogfish Heads, Averys, and the biggest selection cervezas from Spanish-speaking countries I’ve seen. the seafood is great, always fresh snapper. One of the steaks is going to be on sale, super cheap. There will be a woman who works in the bakery walking around with a cart full of «pan caliente» for sale. They don’t get 5 stars for 2 reasons: there’s been a woman who wanders around the store with a package a steaks and asks people to buy it for her. I’ve seen here in there at least a half-dozen times and always with steak. Also, when I’m in the self check out and buying beer(which is always), it seems like the employee assigned to that area is too deep into gossipy conversation to come over and confirm that I’m over 21. It’s close and always has what I want so they’ll keep getting my business.
