What a shame. My son has been subjected to fights and a negligent administration. 8^th grade boys love picking on the 6^th graders. Does Administration care? Of course not. The Assistant Principal is arrogant and has the personality of a rude cop. The type that likes to intimidate and abuse his power. Not sure how he was awarded AP of the year. The Principal although approachable and friendly lacks any back bone to enforce discipline. You can tell that he does not like confrontations and makes the AP do all the dirty work. I feel neutral against the female AP. Hopefully we can move out of Miami soon to avoid MDCPS all together. Unfortunately several schools are hiring inept, rude, incompetent staff members that pride themselves in disrespecting students and finding out how much they can get away with. How can any staff/​faculty member expect students to respect them if they do not treat students with respect themselves. Instead you are condescending, insensitive, dishonest, and sarcastic. Their only concern is protecting their job instead of doing what’s right. Parents if you are reading this, don’t stop fighting for your children. Administration, faculty and staff members get a nice salary and benefits to do their job.
