Flowers By Vivian Colls

Vivian is the only florist I met with that was actually passionate about what she does and not just in it for the $. She is a true artist and very creative. This is great as far as floral design but not so great when it comes to office organization and responding to emails, texts, and calls. Creative people should be left to create and hire someone else to handle everyday office tasks and responding to clients.
Flowers for my wedding were beautiful and just what I wanted. The reason for not giving a perfect review is that I dealt with a lot of unnecessary aggravation even when trying to meet up for the consultation and this continued up until the wedding. Consultation was rescheduled twice, both at the last minute. After consultation it took weeks of me following up to finally get a quote. A few months before the wedding I had to make a few minor changes to the invoice and after reaching out countless times I was not given a revised final invoice until the week of my wedding! My final meeting to finalize everything was also rescheduled at the last minute several times even though I changed my whole schedule to accommodate her. A wedding is stressful enough and having to chase down a vendor is not something I wanted to deal with. Many texts and calls when unanswered throughout the process and even a very nice thank you text I sent after my wedding was ignored.
I do not think Vivian ignores to be mean I just think she spreads herself way too thin and tries to do too much. If she hired a support staff to run the everyday office tasks as I suggested above it would make her business so much better.
My flowers came out beautifully and at the last minute she pulled everything together but if you want things finalized and organized months ahead of time that just won’t happen.

I got married December 12 of 2014, and I can say that I could not be happier with the way everything turned out, thanks to Vivian Colls. Everything I mentioned to her was exactly as I envisioned and so much more. Everybody loved our flowers, when I asked people for photos of the wedding, they were sending me pictures of the flowers! LOL WHAT ABOUT THE NEWLYWEDS! Ha!

Where do I begin?!
After meeting with ELEVEN flower vendors, I finally found Vivian. Our connection was immediate, and whoever doesn’t tell you this is important is lying!
When my mother and I walked in to our first meeting with Vivian, there, in front of us stood an arrangement with the exact same flowers color scheme I wanted for my own upcoming wedding.
Then we sat down, and we both just fell in love. Not only with her simply incredible personality, but her stellar flowers as well. She makes you feel so comfortable. I swear that I am looking for an excuse to go back and visit with her :)
The day of my wedding finally arrived, and I was so calm knowing Vivian was there to make my venue look spectacular. My floral arrangements were dripping with peonies and my bouquet was exactly what I had envisioned. There were candles in every nook of my venue, making the place look spectacularly romantic.
All in all, Vivian outdid herself.
So blessed she was available for our big day. Her attention to detail is immaculate. You are a lucky bride if you are able to snag Ms. Colls!

November 23^rd 2013 was a dream come true to me and i have Vivian to thank for that!
From the first day we met till the day of my wedding, Vivian was by my side the entire journey. She is reliable, creative, organized, and just amazing! Truly one of a kind.
Vivian took care of keeping in touch with the vendors, keeping my mother in line when she went a little crazy and made sure things went my way and that i was happy.
I could sit here and write a million things but it would all come down to how AMAZING the work she does and her as a person are!

Vivian was my life savor! Two weeks before my wedding, my caterers backed out and my to do list was a mile long. She not only stayed within my budget, but helped me find all the other vendors I needed. Our wedding day was a dream come true and Vivian was the fairy godmother who worked her magic! I’ve since used her for different events and recommend her and her team to everyone I know. I can’t say enough good things about Vivian, who is now like a part of the family!

Vivian made my dreams come true, that day she met me.
There is no person in this industry like Vivian. No one. From her attention to detail, to warm personality, Vivian Colls and her team put together the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen.
I first met Vivian at my venue, the Coral Gables Country Club, where all she had was a notebook, her assistant, and me with my scatter brained ideas. I told her I wanted something classy, but not over the top, kind of rustic. but what I remember telling her vividly was «I want whomever is in my wedding to fell in love, and happy. If they’re with someone they’re more in love, if they’re single they’re more in love with life». Flash forward 8 months later, and we’re in crunch time and Vivian is answering my emails, puttin out fires with vendors, going above and beyond! I remember going back and forth on my ideas for flowers, for arrangements, because I knew what I didn’t want (crazy flower arrangements) but couldn’t quite pinpoint what I wanted besides the manzanita trees. Boy, did she make sense out of my crazy head!
What I loved the most about Vivian is once I told her my budget, not once did she try to pressure me to go bigger or suggest flowers or arrangements that were clearly out of my price range. And even with that, she made my wedding day look like a million dollars! She was there from the rehearsal, to the day of, and not once left my side and was never too far away from me in case I needed her. When I saw my ceremony chuppah and reception room for the first time I was breathless. I’ve finally been able to watch a wedding video my friend did for me and even now is when I can appreciate all the details that went into the wedding even more. Vivian is proof that with great taste you don’t need to go over the top. I don’t think even in my dreams I could’ve pictured a more perfect set-​up. And the best part? My guests were so happy, and felt EXACTLY how I wanted them to feel: enchanted, warm, and full of love and happiness. Vivian Colls and her team set the tone, and are the standard for excellence and unique creations.

She was such a great personality. She was one of the recommended vendors our wedding planner gave us. Unfortunately we didn’t go with her as she was way out of our price range. She did take almost 2 weeks to give us our proposal, even though she said she would have it that same night or the next day. She also added stuff we said we didn’t want to our proposal. We ended up going with another company that was exactly half the price she was.

Vivian was the florist for my wedding. She provided excellent floral service, the arrangements looked fresh and exactly how I wanted. Vivian has a super efficient team and her quality is superb. She is flexible and understanding with brides on a tight budget.
