US Post Office

Since I understand the Post Office was planning to stop delivering mail on Saturdays due to the fact that with now days technology people are paying their bills on line, plus birthday cards and other are now sent via e-​mail, and so on, the post office is not used as much as before. Therefore, in order the help the U.S. Post Office survive, I continue paying my bills the old fashion way, sending my checks I the mail and mailing birthday and holiday cards through the mail using stamps, just to give them business and for them to stay alive.
However and much to my surprise, they are paying me back with extremely poor service to say the least. There have been weeks I did not receive any mail, which is not right because all my bills and prescription medicines come through the mail. I took time off from my work to go to the post office and investigate. I spoke to Marco, the Supervisor, and he could not give an explanation and said someone will call me (they never did). In the meantime, I started receiving e-​mail notifications indicating I was late in my payments since the bills are being returned to them by the Post Office as «address unknown» and that I needed to provide my new address. Come on, I have been living at the same address fro 22 years and the mailman cannot find it anymore? Once again, I took time off from work to go to the Post Office. This time Marco, the Supervisor, did not have anything to tell me and said he was going to find out and that someone would call me. This was on Tuesday, June 23^rd, and of course, no one has called me.
Whom should I complain to? Who can help me? This is the United States Post Office I am taking about …

Negative stars. These are most miserable employees on the planet. I am truly sorry for them.

So its kinda pointless to write a review of a post office since it isn’t going to make them change how they’re doing things as its government run, but on the off chance that some responsible supervisor watches this account here’s my recent experience at this location.
I got left a pink slip on my door saying that I had been delivered a package but because I wasn’t there they couldn’t deliver and I have to go to the office to pick it up. I went to pick it up and they said that they didn’t have it because it had been delivered according to their system the day the slip was left at my door. I don’t see how a package can be marked as delivered if a pink slip is left at my door saying the package couldn’t be delivered. I wasn’t able to get my package and they have no idea what happened to it. I really need my package, is it that hard to deliver the mail? I knew friends of mine deployed overseas that had more reliable service than this. FedEx and UPS seem to know how to deliver mail what ever could be the difference between them and the USPS (sarcasm implied)?

This is the main branch that handles all the mail for my area 33 126, let me just say that weeks I get the mail and others weeks I don’t see the mailman for about 3 days, and to top it off I don’t get the mail usually until 5:30 or 6:30 in the evening, mind you I have my own business and work from home so its very important for me to be able to mail out documents in a timely manner, however with the crappy service that I am getting I cannot rely on them for squat

I went at like 4:45 p.m. today and it was pleasantly empty. Which made my stop here quick as there were no lines.
I know it was 15 minutes to closing and they must have been tired but I found the employees here really lazy, and uninterested in performing their jobs.
I felt glad that I brought everything ready-​to-​go so that I wouldnt have had to ‘bother’ them with printing or taping.

This branch suffers from two things: lackadaisical employees and unprepared customers.
Depending on the time of day, your visit can either be quick and easy or slow and agonizing.
I recommend going to the branch on 2200 NW 72ND AVE.
