Meet the Manager

Africa M.

Manager

Originally from Venezuela, Mrs. Africa has been working with The Learning

Center for over seven years. She has been lead VPK teacher, Assistant Director and

TLC 8 St. Director since opening its doors in 2009. She has a degree in Early

Childhood education and extensive academically as well as administrative. TLC 8

offers a warm, home-​like atmosphere in which Mrs. Africa takes the time and care to

personally attend to the needs of all the children individually. We use the Creative Curriculum and also offer an array of extra activities including Cooking, Language, Dancing and Gymnastics.
