We were hoping that we could sit and eat here but it is most suitable for take out. never mind, if the food is half as good as it smells we are happy… Update…food was good! Really good, however duck is a bit too heavy for a red curry chicken, but ok. Only negative thing is that we waited for our food for more than 35 minutes… but they were very busy and the phone didn’t stop to ring with orders, so that was a good sign.

This is a hidden gem. We got there five minutes before closing in which we did not know about and they sat us down with no hesitation and did rush is. It’s a very teeny tiny place but don’t let the size or the uninspiring décor fool you. The Thai food will make you feel like you are in Thailand. We each ordered a soup, with an entrée and a complimentary dessert. It was deliciously spicy and I would like to add that the staff was very nice, very affordable and we will be back soon. :)

This is decent Thai food. I’m very glad they deliver! I’ve had a few entrees, and they were all good. The kimchi fried rice is rather spicy, but it’s really delicious. The red curry is good too — I’ve had it with chicken, and there were several chicken pieces with veggies in a creamy red curry. The spice was right on. If you get anything with tofu, the tofu is fantastic. Lastly, the drunken noodles were different from what I’m used to — the noodles were long and thin instead of wide and short. The dish was fine, but a tad too sweet for me. Because of the thinness of the noodles, it wasn’t really filling. The portions are good to share — when I got the fried rice, I split it with another person and still had some left over. Eating this food the next day was great — the flavors were still there, and it was satisfying. Bottom line: if you’re looking for reliable delivery, and you have a hankering for Thai food, this is a wonderful option!

Compared to everything else. It’s the best Thai near brickell. Not saying much bc there is no great Asian food in Miami but this is pretty good

This review reflects my takeout experience only. We wanted late night Thai takeout on a Sunday, and this was one of the few places open that offered delivery. Eat24 informed me that my food would arrive in 1 hour and 15 minutes since the restaurant was busy around 9-ish, our driver came 15 – 20 minutes later than anticipated. Our food arrived warm. My friends really liked the Tom Kar Gai soup, which I didn’t try. I had the shrimp pad thai, which I thought was a little heavy on the tamarind paste/rice wine vinegar and was too sour for my taste. Overall decent, and I would order again for the convenience.

Since my previous review, I’ve continued to order from this place religiously. Despite their small size, their level of service is very good – much better than other restaurants: They value every customer and from time to time do sweet things for me. I love Asian Thai Kitchen 2 !!! I order their Tom Kar Gai with Thai Heat,(only for the brave) with almost every meal. The green curry and Panang curry are very very good! Pad Thai is delicious too. This place is a great little gem!

I love this place and you can’t beat the prices for thai food! Everything I’ve had was delish, especially the drunken noodles, tom yum soup and red chicken curry. It’s mostly a take out or delivery place which is fine and the staff is very friendly. My only complaint is that they aren’t open on Monday and I’m craving thai right now ;)

This is not Thai food. I ordered the Shrimp Pad See-Ew and the Papaya Salad. The salad wasn’t too bad. However, it lacked the tangy taste that I know comes with papaya salad. The pad see ew was horrendous. The noodles were Italian fettuccini noodles not flat rice noodles as stated on the menu(and which are the appropriate noodle for this dish). The sauce on the noodles were off. It’s usually a sweet black sauce. There is nothing sweet about it. Terrible!!! I have yet to find real Asian fare(of any sort) in downtown Miami. Total disappointment for a 25 $ delivery meal for one.

Ordered for the first time yesterday using the Bite Squad delivery service. Felt the need to review, as my order was a mixed-bag of success. I got the chicken fried rice, the green curry with beef, and the Thai donuts for dessert. I gave this restaurant 2 stars because the fried rice and donuts were delicious. But I had to take off major points because my entrée was a disaster. I have tried green curry at a half dozen Thai restaurants all over Miami, and this BYFAR was the worst. I tried eating 5 bites of it, and couldn’t keep going, it was that unappetizing. The texture was more of a paste than a broth, and the taste was very bitter. So disappointed because I thought I had finally discovered a convenient Thai place close to me. I can’t give them my business again if that is the quality I receive.

Very rarely does a culinary experience become a dream that sweeps me off of my feet. As a matter of fact the last time I slipped into that bliss, it was during a full moon and I had a piece of Insomnia Cookie heaven in my mouth. I never thought on my life I would find incredibly delicious Thai in the middle of Little Havana. I found this place by chance, by mere luck. I was on my way to get my usual horchata at the local Mexican cantina and my eye caught a hold of this place while parking. ATK(Asian Thai Kitchen) is easy to miss, its a little place sandwiched in a pre-revolution Havana like plaza. ATK is really a take out restaurant, but inside there’s one small two seater table and a small 3 seater counter. I decided to pass by this place the following week to try it out, and thank God I did. The food was so delicious the first time, I came the following night and ordered the exact same dish. What did I order? I call it heaven on a plate… But in Thai its known as Pad Prik Thai Spice($ 12), delicious sauteed Thai curry paste with basil leaves, red peppers, string beans and bamboo shoots. OMG talk about perfection, this dish temporarily put me on the Mount of Olives. Each mouthful of super fresh vegetables and robust spice gave me visions of cheerful bosoms. 5STARS On the second visit I also ordered Tom Yum Goong(Shrimp) $ 5. The soup’s broth was very spicy with about 4 or 5 large fresh shrimp and lots of delicious mushrooms. This soup was a perfect starter dish for me. 5STARS I love everything about this place! The girls there are very cheerful and full of smiles. ++they take online orders and deliver – there’s only metered street parking available

for a while i had heard about the legend of asian thai kitchen 1 at the grove which i still havent been. one day i was strolling around calle 8, feeling hungry but not necessarily craving any rice and beans which is most abundant in this area. Unilocal mobile app comes to the rescue and this is how i found asian thai kitchen 2. tiny location but its got its charm. definitely not a place to bring your entire dysfunctional family and neighbors but great for a fast casual meal. i asked the very nice lady behind the counter for their best seller. drunken noodles. this is what i had and man!!! very good thick rice noodles that dont break apart like in most places. disclaimer: i am not thai. i did not live in asia for a semester when i was broken hearted and tried to get over an ex. i do not insist on eating with chop sticks when i go to an asian restaurant and there is a fork and a knife already setup on the table. this may disqualify me from rating asian restaurants depending on which part of san francisco«youre from», but asian thai kitchen 2 is gooooood.

Started with Tiger Tear, a traditional Thai spicy beef salad which I love. The version here tastes of fresh ingredients but the authenticity is missing. The unique taste of the burnt rice powder is missing and the sweetness from the Thai sweet chili sauce they add may reflect an effort to make this dish more Americanized but didn’t work for me. Next up, Thai Boat Noodle soup. Again, the fresh, quality ingredients are appreciated. But at $ 10, the bowl is on the smallish side. Tastes of fresh cilantro, lemongrass, and garlic. I’d recommend this on its good flavor, but certainly no value item from what is, after all, basically a take out place. It should be $ 6 tops, and then would be highly recommended as it’s very tasty. Considering the lack of good Thai options, I’d recommend this place. With a few recipe and pricing tweaks I feel they could be 5-stars-excellent.

Delivery or pick up only. There are literally no tables inside. Their prices are more reasonable than other Asian restaurants in the area, but they have a $ 35 minimum plus $ 5 charge for deliveries. Limited street parking on 8th street if you are picking up. I loved the Thai tofu appetizer. The tofu was crispy fried, not greasy, and served with a yummy sweet chili dipping sauce. Only $ 4.00. The green papaya salad was authentic, with the characteristic taste of fish sauce and tamarind. I ordered mine«medium spicy» but will not make that mistake again. My mouth was on fire and I choked, that’s how spicy it was. I had to rinse off the dressing, or it would have been inedible. Full disclosure, I do not like spicy food. I prefer to taste my food over numbing my mouth. The fried cheesecake is another steal for $ 4.00. Others charge double. They do use breadcrumbs instead of tempura batter, and I prefer the latter. The staff is friendly and sweet, and this would be a 4-star rating if it weren’t for the delivery fee.

We ate in but this place is probably best for take out or delivery. Tried the shrimp Pai Thai and it was pretty good. Definitely recommend.

I have ordered from this place about two times. The result has so far been the same which is perfect! The food got delivered to my place quicker than any other delivery service around the area, the food tastes great, and the presentation is really cute. I was a bit hesitant today when I ordered since the lady told me delivery would take about 45 minutes, but they came in so quickly everyone at my job was so surprised. This place is also cheap compared to the surrounding asian places in the area! Will be back and can’t wait to order again.
