Small Daddy’s Liquor

I’m a sucker for liquor and I’m a sucker for animals.
Guess what?
Small Daddy’s houses both and it doesn’t get any better!!! This store is located conveniently on 8^th street not far from the 826. It’s east to spot and there’s sufficient parking in the front. From the moment you walk in you will immediately notice the Small Daddy’s mascots, a beautiful beagle and grey and white cat that like to hang out on the counter and greet the customers with a woof or meow. Once you accept that they are cutest pets you’ve seen in your life (okayyyyyy, maybe second to your own), you will move onto their selections of beers, wines, and liquors, which they have plenty of and at affordable prices.
The family that runs this place have clearly been in the business for a long time and are very knowledgeable. They are sure to give you recommendations that will leave you and your wallet happy. All customers are treated like family and as odd as it may sound, there’s just positive energy in the store. I’d like to think that this energy is transferred into the alcohol I’ve purchased, making my drinks that much healthier for my soul.
Yes, anyone can go to a place like Total Wine and buy alcohol there. Me? I’d rather support a local business. You should, too!

Large quantity of liquor and craft beers. Great ambiance and excellent customer service. Love the fact that it’s a family ran business and not to mention they have a cute dog to greet you. Definitely would recommend to all!

My go-​to spot when I’m in Miami. Great selection of liquor and craft beer (close to 100 selections). The best part about Small Daddy is that it is family owned and operated, making for the most attentive and friendly staff. Bonus: the prices are great. Bonus Bonus: an adorable pup can be found assisting in the store!

Visiting from out of town and was looking for craft beers on the way to a concert. Read the reviews and decided to stop here. Everyone is right that they have a very friendly staff. Not a good craft beer selection. Lots of liquor not beer. They don’t sell ice either which made us have to make an additional stop somewhere else.

Biggest selection of craft beer east of the palmetto! they have tons of regional beers not to mentions florida based brews as well. Not to mention all imports they carry. Definitely the biggest selection and friendliest informed staff. And they also have a huge wine selection. I couldn’t believe has big it was inside for a family owned store. I also love the fact that they carry a wide variety of liquors and aperitifs. Its a mixology thats making a come back. This is my favorite local liquor store in the area by far!

This place is well worth the drive from Coral Gables. The folks who run this place are super cool and yes they speak English. The options are endless and if they don’t have they will order it for you. The best thing about this place is the relaxed atmosphere.

Great location right near expressway. Huge selection of liquor and beer. And not to mention it’s a family owned liquor store that’s been in business since the 80’s.

Great Family owned business. Been a customer for years. On large orders they’ll deliver. Awesome scotch selection. Friendly and very reasonable in price.

The only reason I continue coming here is because the service is really good. The people who work here are nice and helpful. The downside, however, are the prices. The bottles are anywhere from $ 3-​$ 8 bucks more expensive than other liquor stores.
Their selection is also just mediocre at times. For example, I’ve gone and they haven’t had Tanqueray in anything but the largest size. They’re also a little lacking on the flavored vodkas.
For those of you who like beer, they do have cold kegs ready to go. They also have cold wine and champagne.
If I want to buy lotto tickets or I’m looking for something generic and I’m in a rush though – they’re usually my stop.
