Not the friendliest bunch. Forgive me for not speaking fluent Spanish. Maybe the old couple was just joking with me but it didn’t feel funny on my end. It was uncomfortable. In case you don’t know how to use Google translate this funny man. «Adiós gente grosera. Comprende?»

Be careful buying wine here. Many of the fine wines are old(1998 — 2003) and are bad. I bought a 1998 Cabernet Savignon and a 2005 Pinot Noir and both were bad.

Right on the corner of Flagler &67 Avenue sits a tiny little liquor store with the most impressive assortment of liquor I have ever seen. I have been driving by this location for years and never ever thought to make a stop, but seeing the steady flow of patrons and the long standing tenure, I certainly had to drop by. After I parked my car behind the building in a lot they share with the Petit Chalet Lounge(which I am not reviewing), I made my way into the store. Wow! It is a cramped little space with metal fixtures that run all the way up to the ceiling, filled with bottles of any imaginable bottle of liquor. I made my way to the rum section to find they basically stock everything, from the newest rum releases to the classics, including imports. Then I checked out the whiskey section and yes, everything on hand, from the top of the line to the least expensive. My curiosity then took me to the tequila section and all the famous brands were sitting there plus all the agave you could imagine. This little shop seemed to have everything, but that was not the end. As I walked to the cashier, I looked behind the counter to check the assortment of sampler bottles and I was just blown away. This liquor store samples almost every brand of whiskey, including J.W. Green and Gold Label. Never seen that in other liquor stores. If after all I have noted above doesn’t excite you, here is another one. The prices here are cheaper than surrounding liquor stores. They even have sales and they sell domestic and imported beer. I used to go to other liquor stores to look for libation, but after this trip, Petit Chalet, Petit Chalet.
