I got my puppy Shiba Inu from paws and bones a few days ago and he’s been doing great. Jusualdo is a great guy and even gave me some treats and a puppy toy for Loki.
The price was the same as any other puppy shop in Miami, so I have no complaints about the price, I had done my research. I paid half the amount and financed the rest.

We bought a French bulldog there — which was very expensive, on Thursday which we named, Louie. On Saturday I took him to my personal vet. Turns out Louie has a upper respiratory infection which required medication. The following Monday — a week later I had to take him back to the vet, his cough had gotten worse. This time the vet had to give him stronger medication along with drops for his nose and eyes (due to discharge). These medications were a lot more expensive. In the past, we had an English bulldog for many years and we are fully aware that these breed of dogs are very sensitive due to their mushed in nose/​face and small trachea. However, when our vet told us that Louie has been sick for a couple of days, prior to us getting him. We also have a 1 year old yorkie at home which is now also showing signs of coughing and sneezing. I was very upset and called the owner at the shop and told him what was going on and he was very willing to work with me and helping out my situation., I under no circumstances would EVER consider taking him back and exchanging him for another puppy. Our vet said that she hopes that this stronger medication would work and if did not, more in-​depth testing would need to be done (swab his nose and throat) to see if it is something more serious possibly deadly ~ this test cost more than 200.00! She said to lets wait and see if the medication will work, she was not too alarmed and since he looked healthy and was gaining weight, she thought at this time is was not something urgent that needed to be done ASAP, she said it looks more like a flu — which I did not know dogs can get the flu…, had it been necessary and urgent — money was NOT going to be any issue. When I called the owner he was a little bothered that I didn’t take him to HIS vet to get fully checked. I told him I couldn’t do that since I would feel as if it would be a conflict of interest on his part. He understood. I have to admit, at no time did he refuse to speak to me nor dismiss my call. This man was willing to a compromise with us and agreed to pay for all the money we spent on medication (not the office visits — which is fine). We also agreed that if this medication did not work we would take Louie to his vet to have this test performed. My husband went back to the shop on Tuesday and the owner gave my husband a check right there and then for the full amount of what we paid for in medications almost $ 150. Again without a fight or any questions. He did request a copy of the vet bill and report showing Louie’s, health issues. After reading all the negative reviews on here, I thought we were doomed and had a very long road ahead of us. Thankfully, it is working out, for now… We don’t know this man, this purchase of our new puppy is the first time we meet. He is a business owner and wants to protect his business and reputation with I think anyone of us will do if we had a business. If you bought a dog from here and it died, my heart goes out to you. You have to remember, to him, he is selling «merchandise» to us, the consumer, we are getting a new family member. Some of you have claimed that your puppy was sick and malnourished when you got him, others say that some dogs looked sick — why in the world would you buy a dog if it looked sick??? That part I don’t get it. We made sure Louie looked healthy as much as the eye can tell, at least. We couldn’t see what was going on inside. He is going to protect and defend himself in anyway he has to. I don’t know what I would do in that situation, total heartbreak… We have had our puppy for a week and we can imagine ourselves without him. I am sure, if you would try to work something out with him as he is working with us, maybe it would be easier — I don’t know. But I am thankful that he is willing to work with us. I will update in a couple of weeks as to Louie’s health.

I was driving down puppy shops and I had gone in to a couple but i really liked this specific store when I went in everything was clean and it actuallly didn’t smell bad. It looked like it was maintained very neatly. I spoke with the the gentleman a Spanish man. I don’t remember his name but I was looking for a bulldog and there was 3 different ones but I really liked the smallest one. The man who was there assisting me took out the dog so I can see him and he put him in a play pen and the bulldog was the most playful thing I had seen I loved it. I bought the puppy and I went to check him out at the veterinarian that was affiliated with the store and everyone was very nice and helpful. I had a great experience with this purchase. The owner of the ship was very nice and had a good sense of humor. Definitely will recommend this store. The puppy was a bit costly but over all I’m glad.

I purchased a puppy from Paws and Bone. A Schnauzer, the cutest puppy ever. I fell in love at first sight. He told me he was as healthy as can be. A week later the poor baby was sick & we had no idea why. The following morning we took him to the vet he’s affiliated with, Westwood Vet Clinic… They classified the symptoms as «Kennel Cough.» We needed to leave him hospitalized for a week and a half.
Not to mention — I also own a yorkie and he got sick after meeting my puppy. I took my yorkie to my personal vet (Lidia’s) and they gave him antibiotics… After two weeks of medication, he’s finally healthy.
The Westwood Clinic called us back after that week passed by and stated that he was healthy and we can pick him up, so we did. Not even a week later he began to hack and cough like crazy again. Now, we took him to my vet. She was extremely worried that he’s been in the same condition for over a month now. She did blood work to check if he has distemper. I’m praying so hard he doesn’t… My heart is broken and I’m crushed. This place needs to be shut down. I’m contacting the BBB and Channel 7. I’m willing to do anything so this man can be stopped.
Too many heart breaks. I will keep you guys updated.

I would give it «0» stars!!! Horrible place. I bought my dog 2.5 years ago, she had DISTEMPER!!! Super contagious… my other dog got sick as well… not as bad as the distemper because he is healthy and had all his vaccines, but because he is old he got kennel’s cough. Both dogs had to get very strong antibiotics (more the puppy) and both dogs had to get daily visits to the Vet to be nebulized (for a week). The puppy had to be in cage rest for 1 whole month and the dogs were no aloud to be together. We are the best thing that happened to our puppy… we saved her!
We went back to speak with the owner and he did not recognized any of the expenses that we incurred into… he claimed that we had to go to his VET… which of course I would not go after I get a sick puppy… I could not trust any type of recommendations from this guy… I am sure they work together!
A relative of a friend just purchased a puppy yesterday from this same store and the puppy is sick as well!!!
This store should be shut down!
BTW… I wrote a review by then and it was erased. Please DO NOT GO TO THAT STORE!!! GO TO ADOPTION PLACES!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY MORE BUSINESS TO THIS TYPE OF PEOPLE!!!

This store sells puppies with PARVO! Do not buy from this store. I bought a puppy from this thief only to find the next day that it was infected with the parvovirus. I took the puppy to the vet and they said there were almost no chances the dog would live. The puppy also had a pneumonia. I demanded my money back right away and was promised by the store owner that I would receive it the next day. Well, after nearly three months of dealing with this guy, I finally received most of my money back. This thief kept the tax and the price of the dog’s chip — which I never registered under my name. His argument for keeping the money: «the taxes belong to the government and the dog was under your name».
Once again, this thief will steal your money and break your heart when you find out your puppy is sick and dies within days or weeks after you take him home.
This store should be banned and closed. Do not buy from here.

El 04 de diciembre del 2014, decidimos comprar a mis hijos por regalo de navidad su primera mascota. Leimos un aviso enas paginas de Univision y llegamos a esta tienda de mascotas. Ahi el señor Jesualdo nos vendio un puppy cocker enfermo. Segun el muy sano. El señor este Es un mentiroso y aparentemente Vende perros enfermos. Mi perrito despues de 3 semanas de intensos cuidados y mas de 3,000 dolares despues murio. Lo llevamos a 3 distintos veterinarios tratandolo de salvarlo, pero todos coincidieron en q el perrito tenia pneumonia y asi lo habiamos adquirido. Mis hijos pequenos y nosotros estamos desconsolados. Contactamos a Jesualdo Rangel, el Dueño de la tienda, solo para q noa enganara diciendonos q nos enviaria el cheque por el valor del perro y ya Han pasado varias semanas y aun no nos llega. Y seguro nunca nos llegara. Con esto espero q muchas personas lean esto y no Le compren nada a esa tienda, que solo Vende perros enfermos. Ojala q algun dia se haga justicia, porque el dolor q causa comprar un perrito para q se muera a las pocas semanas y las lagrimas de tus hijos no tienen precio.

I recently wrote a review. This is an update. My puppy from Paws and Bones had to be euthanized today. She had two types of parasites, pneumonia and most importantly DISTEMPER. My own animal hospital (I have been using this particular veterinary hospital for 12 years) had her for a full week. We fought to keep her alive, but she just kept losing weight until we knew it was her time to go. She was three months old. I bout her from Paws and Bones about 3 weeks ago. Heart breaking.

Do not, Do not, Do not buy a puppy from this deceiving pet shop!!! Save your money but most importantly save your emotions and feelings from being hurt!
These people sell all kinds of adorable puppies who have parvo. Don’t believe me? Read the Google Reviews, read the Better Business Bureau complaints, read all you can on this shop. My friend bought a gorgeous mini brown female dachshund puppy there last week. Two days later she had to go back to their «free clinic» for diarrhea and vomiting treatment where they did nothing for her but prescribe a bunch of meds. She had to stay overnight. When my friend picked up the puppy, they didn’t tell her what she had nor do they provide you with the medical records. No one knows anything as far as whatever treatment, or lack thereof, that they provided her. Two days after that the symptoms returned. The puppy had to be admitted at Knowles animal clinic on Labor day. They immediately diagnosed her with Parvo. Just like all the negative reviews said. I’m not sure if the puppy will make it. The puppy is still admitted and not doing well. My friend has had her for less than a week. She will demand her $$ back. Again, do not go there!!!
**Update: the puppy passed away on 9÷4÷14.
**Another update** My friend received a refund in cash, check and post dated check.
