Mosquito Joe of South Miami

If you want to continue getting charged on a monthly basis, even though you cancel services, then go to Mosquito Joe.
After receiving an email that I had a scheduled service on Oct 22, I called the day before to cancel my services. The attendant told me she would put the request in, and the owner would call me. A week after, I get home and I see a Mosquito Joe sign on my door that services had been performed. I called them to cancel and get my money back, and still the owner that was once again supposed to call me back never did. My account has not been refunded. And the icing on the cake is that the day service was performed, my daughter got a bite on her face, just from walking from the car to the house.
Very irresponsible owner. Not only do they send out emails for service on incorrect dates, but they don’t call back. Getting ready to report these people!

Our school administration decided to use Mosquito Joe a week before starting our yearly summer camp. Our school is located in Kendall where we all know the Mosquitos are quite unbearable. Keeping in mind that our kids were going to be outside for a majority of time during the summer we decided to use their service. We were beyond delighted at the fact that they took into consideration that kids are a main priority and they came within two days to our school at 7:00pm after our students had left for the day. We have seen such a great improvement and we are able to continue providing a fun, safe, mosquito free environment for our children during these summer days. I highly recommend these professionals and we will definitely be contacting them once again.

Mosquito Joe of South Miami not only offers the best pest control service but also the best customer service!!! My home was infested with Mosquitos and it was hard to enjoy even a family BBQ. I was so happy to find the flyer in the mail and even happier to know that when I refer my friends and family I receive a $ 25 credit and so do they! I mean come on you can’t beat that! Keep up the great work guys! So happy that Mosquito Joe is now active in the Miami area.

Wow! What a difference having Mosquito Joe around. The team is super friendly and knowledgeable. I can literally sit outside all night in shorts and not have one bite! Worth every penny. I can’t picture our yard without Mosquito Joe!

I called them based on a recommendation from a friend and a flyer that came in the mail offering the first service at half off. The staff was very friendly. I talked to a guy on the phone in great detail about what I can expect since I have dogs that go out in the yard, many trees and a canal behind my house. I was told this will not harm my dogs but they must remain indoor during the spray and shouldn’t come out for about 40 mins after. The service person was on time and professional. I was told over the phone that the guy coming out would go over problem areas in my yard. This did not happen. The guy went right to work. I was fine with that. I was looking forward to a serious decrease in the amount of mosquitoes in my yard. As he was spraying, there was a strong, chemical, minty smell that seeped into the house. It made me uncomfortable that the smell was so strong (windows and doors were closed). It lasted about an hour. I gave it 48 hours as they asked and I noticed a small decrease, not the roughly 80% that I was told. I received a follow up call from them, and when I told them this, they immediately said they would come back and spray again. I thought that was great service! There was someone at my house in just a few hours. I finally noticed a big decrease in the amount of mosquitoes. The service worked well and lasted almost 3 weeks.
I don’t think I will do this regularly but I would definitely use this service before an outdoor party or event. If you plan on using them for an event, schedule the service at least 2 – 3 days prior.
