Maurizio Distefano Hair and More

I was recently in town visiting Miami and had my hair done by Maurizio for my brother’s wedding. Coming from out state finding a good and price worthy hair stylist can be difficult but Maurizio did a fantastic job he was able to create a beautiful hair style based off the pictures I had provided for him. I received many compliments on my hair throughout the evening at the wedding for how great it looked. If I am ever in town again for a wedding I will definitely be going back to Maurizio.

I cannot say enough about Maurizio and his staff! Maurizio was the ONLY hair stylist (artist IMHO) I tried for my wedding hair. I knew after my trial that he was THE ONE. He is a perfectionist and really listened to what I wanted. The trial was very beautiful but my hair the day of the wedding was a work of art. Truly. Another thing I really liked about Maurizio is that he knew exactly how to make the hair style: 1. match the feel of the wedding «look» 2. Last all night and 3. Look amazing in photos. I did not realize until just yesterday when I got my professional photos back, how intricately he blended the fascinator with the hairdo and even how the little details at the top (the way he curled and shaped my bangs) echoed the fascinator, the dress and the whimsical feel of the wedding. To boot, Maurizio has fabulous taste in music — there is always a gorgeous sound ambience in salon — and on the day of my wedding, when many brides are freaking out, I was able to relax and we discussed opera and music. He made my wedding day unforgettable even before the wedding started. He also did my mother’s hair (she is IMPOSSIBLE when it comes to hair and she LOVED him) and my sister’s hair (she loved it too). If I could give him more stars, I would. Other things that might you (reading a review) are that his salon is super clean and friendly, his prices are very reasonable in my opinion, and he truly cares about your hair and your self image. Also, I saw a few ladies having regular cuts and blow outs, and they all walked out of there looking AWESOME. I would post pictures of my hairdo that day here if I could so you could see. He is THAT amazing.

I live between Washington DC and Miami and I am very partial to my hairdresser in DC. But when I went to Maurizio distefano’s I was absolutely delighted. Very clean salon, very knowledgable about my hair’s condition. And a great cut, great color, great welcome. So do not hesitate if you go to Miami. This is the place to go!!!
