Every single time I come eat here, I am taken care of like I’m family. The food is always fresh and they focus on healthy delicious food. With that home cooked meal taste, I can eat here 5 days a week.

I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves tasty, homemade, good for you food! The owner took care of us like we were family! We will definitely go back… often!

Love the food! But lost my love! Best Cuban healthy food ever, go there every week for take out, Thais the owner, puts her heart and soul into every dish!

Good macro friendly food. I feel they could have a little more flavor for the shredded chicken, gets a little dry. But overall portions are super satisfying and good for alternative. now they will be competing with Sergio’s lite menu which I feel has a tad more flavor.

Loved this place! They go by serving sizes, their food is delicious which is a plus for healthy meals. We tried their cantina for a while and it was perfect. Very inexpensive as well. I wasn’t too crazy about their dessert but of course, it’s hard to get healthy and dessert in the same sentence!

I have been a customer of their cantina for about 3 months now and I’m very impressed, the food it great and very affordable when compared to other cantina services. Only complaints would be I would like for them to offer salmon instead of tilapia for their fish dishes. Also I feel some of their soups and entrees can be a bit salty.

Wow! This place is absolutely delicious and affordable. I have been eating their «cantina» for 2 weeks now, and we love it. It helps keep me in shape along with a good workout. Portions are very satisfying and delicious. They have a different menu every week, so you don’t get bored with the same thing week after week. My partner who was diagnosed with diabetes 2 months ago, now eats healthy and has lost 20 pounds, with exercise of course.
My favorites are the arroz con pollo, tamal en cazuela, fufu and the lentil soup.

Not bad. Food was tasty. The service was quick and friendly. She also let us sample the food before choosing which helps my picky eating issues.

If anyone tries to say that this place isn’t good, their Unilocal account should be terminated. This place is by far amazing especially when you’re weight training or dieting. All their dishes are my favorite, everything is great and it fills you up in a way you don’t feel like you ate a mountain of rice with a cow on the side. Their seasoning is perfect, not too much sodium in my body when I come here to eat. If you’re looking for a «cantina» type of restuarant then this place is for you. What a shame that they close so early.

Affordable, delicious, healthy, huge portions — all with the great Latin flavor of grandma’s cooking their lentil soup and ropa vieja de pollo are my favorites!

I love this place. The food is AMAZING. I ate their cantina daily throughout almost my entire pregnancy & only gained 25 lbs! It was good in flavor, filling & good for my growing son. I don’t get to eat there as often as I’d like to. It really replicates the yummy unhealthy cuban food so that flavor-​wise you don’t miss a thing!

The best Latin food on the lite side! I could not believe how good the vaca frita is and how friendly the staff is. I recomend this place after a good gym workout.

Come here whenever I get a haircut cuz it’s in the same plaza. Hole in the wall. Good food and «supposedly» healthy. I wonder cuz some things are too good to be healthy. Owner is friendly and makes you feel at home.

Amazing place!!! Great food that’s very well priced and HEALTHY! I personally eat here everyday and truly love it. The staff is very friendly and the ladies are absolutely amazing!!!

PERO WHAT??? Healthy CUBAN food? This I had to try. We told the lady it was our first time and she kept giving me free samples to try everything. I was getting full already with the samples!!! I ended up ordering the spinach soup with sweet potato mash and turkey ropa vieja. Full of flavor. Pretty amazed that they were able to pull of healthy cuban food.

Ok, lets keep it real. After a strenuous workout, I needed some food. I wanted something good and healthy. I came across Latinlite and decided to check it out. Let me tell you it blew my mind! Its the perfect place to go to if you like Hispanic food and struggle with finding a place where the plate looks like they soaked everything they made in cholesterol, fat and more fat. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the chicken with onions, Brown rice with lentils and sweet mashed potatoes. It was probably the healthiest authentic hispanic food I have ever had. No one drop of fat was left on my plate. I was very very very pleased. Also, for dessert I ordered chocolate ricotta, which happens to pack 7 grams of protein, and it was heaven!!! The prices were very fair and the service was excellent! They even let you try it before you get it! you know a restaurant is confident about what they make if they are willing to let you try it first. The location is in this tiny shopping plaza in the middle of nowhere, and I hope they open 100 stores more like this one! I would personally frequent it a lot more often! See what happens when a costumer is extremely satisfied with your restaurant? You get 5 stars on the spot, as he still savoring that delicious food and service you provided!

Do you want healthy Cuban food?! Here’s where it’s at. I’ve been coming here for years, it’s a total gem in West Miami Dade. I recommend the chicken vaca frita and fufu.

So you love Cuban food but hate wearing it on your love handles and thighs? This is your answer. Amazing and fresh traditional dishes like turkey picadillo and lenteja paired with brown rice and veggies give you the home cooked feel without the guilt and calories.
They also have a weekly delivery service for those to busy to meal prep themselves. Also make sure you try their ricotta desserts.

I just found this place through Unilocal!It’s the best thing it could have happened to me today. The food is very tasty and healthy. Excellent customer service. I just had lunch and I’m getting take out for tomorrow. If you are by the area do not hesitate to stop by!
