If you want to get your art framed, Frame Art is the best place in Miami. The fine art selection is amazing and the prices and quality for custom framing is excellent. The turnaround is very fast. Gallery and frame shop was established since 1980. Frame Art is the place to trust with your fine art. The selection of Latin American Art is out of this world.

I went to Frame Art to have my diploma framed after completing graduate school. The owner and staff were very helpful and patient with me as they showed me different options and I flip flopped between different styles before making a final decision. I went there expecting to pay a lot more than the owner actually charged me. My husband and I walked to Mary Brickell Village, had lunch and when we returned my diploma was ready. The framework was absolutely beautiful and I was extremely pleased with it. The service was impeccable and the price was unbeatable!

My experience has been totally different to previous reviews. My first picture was framed and ready on time and when I needed glass for a photo frame, the owner did it the and there and charged nothing !

Always happy to see me come in and treats me like family. Quality of work is top notch and the prices are great. Turn around time is fast and efficient.
Store is located in the downtown Brickell area and parking is provided onsite by Frame Art at no cost to the customer which is a big plus in the area.
Have had many items framed over the years and even a couple of works of art restored and I have always been happy with the work and level of customer service.

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I just had the absolute worst customer service experience ever at this frame shop. Never in my life have I been spoken to so rudely by the owner of the shop. I’m appalled that this man has a company and is still in business the way he just spoke to me. I brought in a very important family heirloom that I had requested to be framed. I was told a specific day it would be ready for pick up. I arrived 3 days later thinking it would be no issue as I’ve provided additional time. Upon hearing it was still not ready I asked why i was not provided a phone call to let me know so that I could have been aware. At which point the owner turned a switch and started screaming at me that he would no longer do the framing b/​c no one is to talk to him like that in his own shop. It was a simple question, as any person expecting something at a specific time would want to know and DID NOT deserve the insane reaction from this man. The other woman in the shop even shook her head as the question I had asked was not crazy.

I am surprised by the negative reviews. I have been coming here for years and have found the customer service to be exceptional. In fact, the owner has recognized me each time I’ve been in. The prices are fair and the finished product is perfect. Moreover, they have free parking and do the work on premises.

I’m shocked by all of the bad reviews of this place. In the past, I had my custom framing done at Pearl Art in South Miami, which is now going out of business. I took two prints to Frame Art recently, after a bad experience at Pearl Art, and I will be using them for all of my custom framing needs in the future.
Long story short — we had ordered and paid for custom framing at Pearl Art in South Miami, only to be told that they were going out of business and we would have to contact their attorneys for a refund. So, after paying over $ 350 for custom framing that would not be delivered, we were not happy.
We went to Frame Art and were greeted by the owner, who was very friendly and kind to us. He asked us about our prints and offered suggestions for matting and framing. For two prints, the total was $ 170 and the work was completed in a couple of hours. We picked up our beautiful, custom framed prints the same day. We paid half of what was quoted by Pearl Art, and the customer service and finished products were far superior.
I will be using Frame Art in the future. The quality is high for the comparably low price. In the past, I avoided custom framing because of the extremely high cost (I’ve paid over $ 400 to have a large print matted and framed). Frame Art has reasonable prices, fast turnaround, and is in a convenient location with a private parking lot. The owner was very friendly to us and chatted with us about our art, the neighborhood, etc… Thank you, Frame Art!

This is solely based on false advertising, not the actual service. I got a flyer in the mail hailing the wonderfulness of the business and promising pickup and delivery (which is why I called). The woman who answered the phone said he was putting me on the phone with the owner for the quote I needed. I have a framed poster with broken glass, and he quoted me $ 35 for the glass replacement. I asked to arrange and pickup, and he immediately and very curtly said, «Not for glass replacement.» Apparently that service is only available with framing. Then he asked here I was. I’m less than 2 miles from the shop. He said if I wanted to pay for pickup and delivery it would be an additional — ready for it? $ 100! So I’d be paying them $ 100 to drive less than 4 miles on a $ 35 repair job. Um, no. And judging from the experiences of other customers, sounds like I dodged a bullet.

Horrible service, beyond belief. The only reason to go here is because they are cheap (which is reflected in the work, but sometimes that does’t matter). Prior reviews about the owner are exactly right — he is as unpleasant and ill-​bred a person as I have ever met in Miami. My most recent (and last) experience with him — I bring in a picture for framing; he says it will be done «with love» (his usual line) and when I ask if it can be ready by 4 pm, he says «no, for you, 3:30.» I show up at 4:30, the frame isn’t ready, and when I complain, he yells, curses, screams and gives me back the unframed picture. I leave it to professionals to evaluate this guy’s psyche, but for other customers out there, do yourself a favor and spend a few more bucks (if that) and take your work to I’ve Been Framed across the street or somewhere reliable. I rarely take the time to write reviews, so I hope anyone reading this understands that while all of us may have different opinions about a business, this is the worst run (service wise for sure, work wise almost for sure) in Miami.

I agree with a prior review on this place. The only reason it gets a single star its because there isn’t any lower score to give this place.
As others have commented, the owner, a guy in his late 50s or early 60s named Alfredo is the nastiest most disrespectful person I have ever encountered as a costumer. I originally had two diplomas framed with them, each cost me around$ 70. It so happened that during a recent move, both frames were busted, one literally broken and the other a bit deformed and unglued. I took the first one back to them, the really busted one and paid them $ 30 for repairing it. Two weeks later as I went to pick up the first one and leave the second one, which was in far better condition than the most severely damaged one, the owner said that now they couldn’t do it for $ 30. I told him that you had already fixed a really busted one for $ 30, why was he going to charge me more now?
Man, it was like if I had spilled acid on his face. He started screaming at me, flat out told me that I couldn’t understand what he was saying, and to my face called me stupid.
I was flabbergasted. The few employees that where around him fled like rats abandoning a sinking ship. I told him that he was very disrespectful and that for a man of his age (twice mine) it was ironic how I was showing him manners and courtesy. I told him that this was no way to treat a costumer.
He literally went crazy! I was afraid he was going to start swinging at me… although at his age perhaps more likely he was going to pop an aneurysm.
He kicked me out of the store, screaming, yelling and insulting me.
Do yourself a favor, if needed, pay more somewhere else. You certainly don’t deserve the arrogance, attitude and nastiness from Mr. Alfredo… a plain old unpleasant bully!

The owner here is the most arrogant, unaccommodating business owner ever! I went to have some awards framed. The lady behind the counter was much older and was frazzled by every question I asked. I specifically told her what I wanted but $ 700 later, the frames were the wrong color. When I returned to request that the frames be redone in the correct color, the owner screamed at me, was rude and didn’t once attempt to listen to my request. He basically kicked me out of the establishment for requesting exactly what I paid for. These people are terrible. The owner has poor customer service skills, he’s a bully and quite unbearable to deal with. Despite the fact that we’ve spent thousands of dollars with them, he still manages to think that he’s doing us a favor. Go somewhere else… The service here is terrible.

The only reason this place even gets 1 star is because I am pleased with the finished product. Otherwise I would give them 0 stars for horrible customer service. I went in to get two pages out of a magazine framed. I chose this place because someone else I know had gone there for the same exact thing and I liked the way theirs turned out. The people who work there barely speak English and are incredibly rude. I showed them the picture of the other one they had done and that is the only reason I felt assured that they understood what I wanted. Even though they promised they would, no one ever called to say it was ready. When I went in to pick up, they had made 2 of the exact same thing. Huh? I didn’t want 2, just the 1. I could have been dishonest and just taken the second one for free but then I became concerned that they had charged for 2 instead of 1, in which case a refund should be issued. I kept asking the question and the idiot woman kept showing me the paper that told me absolutely nothing. I still don’t know if this is the case but what they finally admitted is that 1 was paid for and they made 2 by accident. What a shit show. Take your business elsewhere. It is not worth the aggravation of dealing with morons.

I had to replace a glass piece on my frame that broke. I went over to their establishment, I had a great experience. Very fair price on the work and I even got to look around at all the artwork as they where doing it.

Read the review above. Do yourself and the art world a favor. AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT !! Alfredo is a creaton, is dishonest and doesn’t deserve the clientele he has much less new business. I had an encounter with him the other day that ranks with the worst customer experience I have EVER had! ANYWHERE!
I hope that this sends this fool a message. You just can’t continue to abuse customers and survive!
So please DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH HIM! You’ll be making the world a better place!

Getting art or documents framed can be expensive and overwhelming. I finally found a place that makes it less overwhelming at a really good price in my neighborhood!
I was lucky to work with the owner Alfredo who has a good eye as well as colorful stories to tell about his decades of experience in the art world. He owns galleries and has framed art for Art Basel as well as galleries in Paris. One of the reasons that he can offer better prices without sacrificing quality is that this place has a workshop on premises. So you can also pick up your framing projects on the SAME DAY — maybe within 30 minutes. Not only that, but this place is open on Sundays.
Alfredo confessed that other local shops use him. So you can eliminate the middle man’s mark up and go directly to Frame Art. Alfredo helped me make decisions on matting and frame choices and didn’t make me feel bad about working within a budget.
Little by little, I plan to take years of stored treasures to Frame Art for framing.
