Eyetrust Vision of Brickell

Easy to make an appointment, very clean office if slightly old-​fashioned, but they were very efficient and courteous. Got the treatment I came for.
Get valet parking on the left side of building and they will validate your ticket to make it complimentary. Very good experience here.

I was very impressed with Dr. Chrysey and his staff. They were all extremely professional and he is someone who I would recommend to my own family. Great job!

I had my first appointment with Eyetrust Vision a couple days ago and it was fantastic. Everyone was so helpful and friendly from the time I walked in to time I left. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. I ended up purchasing eye glasses from them. I received them the same day! I was shocked how quickly they were able to make my lenses. I would definitely recommend Eyetrust Vision.

Why are people putting bad reviews is beyond my capacity to understand … I got my oakleys that are fantastic and reasonably priced from eye trust.
I liked how Dr Chrycy gave me detailed attention to my exam and additionally the selection was great. Parking was a breeze with valet and I really can’t say enough about the helpful staff.
The only con was I didn’t find this place sooner.

My experience at Eyetrust was horrible. You are greeted from behind an 80’s dense wood desk with a mac book on top of it. I didn’t wait long, but that was the only positive to this experience. After seeing the ophthalmologist I explained I had eye X-​rays last year and there was a small mass, needless to say she was unable to see it, most likely because there wasn’t an X-​ray machine in the «facility». Everything was done using antiquated tools, no computer/​technology in sight.
I was ushered into the framing room to try on contacts and the ladies were more interested in talking about their boyfriends than asking me if I needed help. After, I gave my glasses on a Thursday and was told I’d have them back with new contacts on Monday. It is two weeks later and four calls (none of which were returned) and no contacts or glasses.

I had an appointment as I work in Brickell. My insurance is VSP and my card says I have no co-​pay for exam. I walked over on my lunch hour to get an exam and forgot my wallet on my desk. Because I did not have the $ 10 co-​pay I was refused and my appointment was canceled.

I had an great experience! I know others complained about the place not looking the nicest but I didn’t care about that. The building as safe and easy to find. They also offer free valet. If you’re looking for beautiful office, this may not be the place for you. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.
I went for a comprehensive exam and it was smooth sailing. There was a five minute wait as they processed my paperwork. The staff were friendly and personable and Dr. Thompson was great. She was through, friendly and had a great disposition. I received my prescription via email a few hours later. How convenient!

The place is a dump to put it lightly, but the doctors and service are great so it cancels out the dumpyness of the location.
I had to quickly make an appointment for an eye check and was able to do so within a day or two as a new patient! and had no problems with my follow up.
I was a little late and had to wait a long time to be seen on my first visit but otherwise have had no troubles.

I was in desperate need of new glasses and since my husband’s transferring to another job location in a couple of weeks I needed it as soon as possible. Bascom Palmer was booked until July, so I had no other choice than to look for another eye doctor that would be able to give me an appointment during that week. Luckily, I got an appointment at EyeTrust Vision the following day.
I arrived a bit early to my appointment. When I came in, I was greeted and signed in immediately. However, I had some issues with insurance, so I had to wait patiently for about 45 minutes until the office assistant was able to process everything. When I finally went in to see the doctor, I had to wait another 45 minutes for him to arrive. When he finally came in, the whole ordeal took about 20 minutes and I was out the door. I was very happy with how efficient and knowledgeable he was.
Following that, I was directed to the optic where they once again checked my insurance to see what contacts and glasses it covered. Since I get a better discount at the optic at Bascom Palmer, I decided to simply get the prescription by email for both glasses and contacts and have them done over there. I asked the office assistant to please give me the prescription as soon as possible so I would be able to get everything done by the end of the week. By the following day, I had not received it, so I had to give her a call to remind her to please send it. She had, indeed, forgotten.
So, I was able to get my glasses done in the same week, but to date I am still waiting on the prescription for my contacts. I was told they would follow up a week after I was provided the sample contacts. I noticed that the prescription was a bit off so I gave them a call and they asked me to come in again. After I made the trip to Brickell once again, I was asked if I would be able to come in at another time after I had already been waiting for 30 minutes. I refused since that meant I would have to take off another afternoon of work, so the doctor ended up seeing me for 2 minutes to change my prescription and give me more samples of the contacts I had previously told them I did not like.
So, now, a month later, I am still waiting to receive the prescription! They never followed up, and I have to keep calling. I gave up on getting a different brand of contacts. At this point, I just want a refill of the contacts I already had. I am so glad I decided not to get my actual glasses done at this place, I have a feeling I would still be waiting.
