W Wine Boutique Miami Beach

Never been to the shop, but receive their emails and order online occasionally. Their selections are great for my taste, and the prices are fair to fantastic.
It’s very common for them to offer a French gem from a slightly less well known area that is comparable to a decent Chateauneuf for around $ 20 a bottle or less.

This spot and Wine Depot are the 2 finest establishment for procuring excellent bottles. I’ve gotta tip my hat to W Wine Boutique this holiday season though. Their «Under $ 15» section has been clutch before heading off to all those family holiday parties. Great selection. Wines from all over. Spacious, bright, petite. This store is perfectly executed!

W Wine is my favorite wine shop in Miami. I trust that the bottles they bring in will be good. Wellington has become my go-​to guy for recs, and I’ve never left with a bad bottle under his watch. All the staff are helpful and knowledgeable and love what they do. Talk to them and you’re set.
I especially love their unique grower-​champagne selection, which make for great gifts or special occasions. W Wine also has a solid value section. The best values, though, come in their e-​mail offers. This small boutique somehow manages to pull in tremendous deals on absolutely delicious wines. Place is legit.

Deceptive advertising and deceptive customer service
I received a promotional message advertising «2008 Kathryn Hall Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley» and purchase 3 bottles. I was sent the normal Hall Cabernet Sauvignon (significantly cheaper in price). When I called the store, I was told by Eddy Le Garrac that I was sent the correct bottles, «he had visited the winery and those were the right ones». Furthermore, he insisted that Kathryn Hall was the name of the winery. Not until after I referenced
did he admit that the promotional message and landing page might be misleading. Unfortunately, he had no interest in sending me the correct ‘Kathryn Hall’ release.
There is definitely a difference when speaking to someone that realizes they made a genuine mistake and someone who is trying to cover something up. This is the latter. As a customer, I shouldn’t have to correct a wine shop professional on the difference between 2 bottles let alone the name of a winery (which they visited). And, at no time did I feel like he wanted to do the right thing (send me the bottles I ordered), in fact, he started the conversation saying that it was my mistake.
There is a lot of trust involved with buying wine online or in the shop (i.e. is the recommendation accurate, has the bottle been stored properly, etc.). This experience left me with the feeling that the whole process was dishonest by design (and I wanted others to know).

This is probably my favorite wine shop right now.
The location and parking aren’t the most convenient, but they offer great service and advice, and if you sign up for their email list you can hear about some AMAZING deals.

Wine, wine, oh how I love to wine! Bubbles, bubbles, can never get enough. Living in so many different states, working in many large and small wine shops, with pricing so very different all over. I am always scrambling trying to find great deals on wine with great selections.
Yes, I admit I am a cork dork, don’t judge me. There is just something about a fine wine, the bouquet, the flavors on your palate, the seduction and sexiness with a great velvety finish. OK I got it, like a foodgasm it is a winegasm!
There is nothing more satisfying to me than to have a nice bottle of wine with good friends, alone, or at dinner. Wine is in a class all on it’s own. As a Wine Educator, it does not matter what you like, or how much it cost. What matter’s is that you simply enjoy what you like.
When you pair certain wines with foods it can be unbelievable. The taste of the food and the wine just taste so different when it’s combined. This boutique is not only adorable, the guy’s that work there, not sure if they are the owner’s are very friendly and knowledgeable. Yes, they have a strong French category but alas they have something to please anyone’s palate.
A few months ago I got on their email list and wow if only I was rich because they offer many, many great deals. When I read the emails I just drool. I lust over certain bottles that they carry and their prices are very very good. And their Champagne selection is one of the best I have seen.
Hubby bought me a bottle for Christmas, a 95 point rated Super Tuscan designed with Swarovski Crystals by Christian Dior. The staff helped him to pick it out and they did a great job. It is resting itself for the perfect year in a nice chilled dark wine cellar for future drinking. Shoot, every lady loves diamonds, jewelry, clothes, shoes, etc… but me a nice bottle of wine is like a diamond in the rough.
After the holiday’s I finally made it in this shop and yes I was very much impressed with the selection, prices and Service! They do a fantastic job. See you soon for all my drinking needs.

This is my favorite wine shop. Period. Everyone who works there is so knowledgeable you can tell them the price and if you want to pair the wine with a meal, they can help you pick something in your price range that will pair exceptionally well.
One of my favorite things about W Wine Boutique is the «Best Under $ 15» section. The descriptions and points ratings make it easy to just drop in, grab a bottle and go (like I did tonight as I was running late for a potluck). Every week there are some new wines in that section and a lot of times, I will buy a bottle and end up coming back the next day to stock up before they run out!
If you live on South Beach, this should be your go-​to spot for wine and if you don’t live on the beach, then make sure you check out a wine tasting or just stop by. You won’t leave disappointed!!!

not much $$ in your wallet? not much to do? this may be a great place for you. the variation of wines that they have is very nice. we actually went cause of an email received which spoke of a wine tasting for $ 10 p/​p they were having — A Riesling Tasting and loving that darn sweet thing off we went. we did arrive a bit earlier than 7pm (time tasting was to start). we found a nice FREE parking space behind the shop and inside we went. we were immediately greeted by a very nice and friendly gentleman. we did not see much going on for the tasting so just enjoyed looking around… then we asked, paid and received our plexy drinking glass (it was nice thou and the material is nice too). the actual tasting happens outside right in front of store. it went from just a few of us to a nice size group (40 or so) like i stated it was $ 10 p/​p, you get a glass to keep and taste (last nite) 11 wines… that is not a bad deal. they did provide a small array of delicious chopped up cheese, some grain yummy crackers and some nice salami (meat) this thou was inside, so you found yourself going in & out of store. they did provide for a nice array of Rieslings from different regions. some sweet, others dry and some amazing!!! did have special prices on wines featured. it was a nice friendly group and a nice little mingling going on. these tasting we were advised are done during the summer and on Friday nites (when as the nice gentleman stated «all three of them are there» i imagine it is all owners/​employees in order to provide a flowing service which they did. my only issue was it was outside and this wonderfully warm weather did get to me after a few sips!!! it is a nice store and a nice tasting to experience. not bad for the cost!!! join their email so that notifications of upcoming tasting can be sent to you.

The service is superb. The owner (I presume) helped find the perfect alternative to one of my favorite champagnes (which my bf thinks is too dry) Veuve Clicquot to celebrate my bf’s birthday. The wine selection is ample for such a small wine boutique. The ability to have your wine chilled within minutes was a nice touch as well… we were able to pop that bottle a lot sooner!

Friday wine tastings are fun and a great way of tasting new wines. Service is friendly and they have a good variety of wines as well as a great under $ 15 wall.
I also love their cooling pool for wines and champagnes!

Eddy and Michael have created somewhat of an incredible wine-​buying experience at WWB. I used to pass by there occasionally when venturing out to SoBe, leaving the First Growths to the California merchants. In fact, I really never thought I would enjoy buying wine in Miami, much less SoBe.
Today I have become quite a fan of WWB, so much so that I will drive to SoBe just to visit the shop. Both the above-​mentioned hosts treat me extremely well, and I have bought all kinds of wine, from Mouton to $ 15 Sauvignon.
I have been telling more and more of my friends about WWB. It is no wonder that one of them asked me whether I had snagged the Lafite 1990 that ended up in the news!

The prices here can be stunning, frankly. You routinely find $ 50 – 60 bottles of red marked to $ 20-​$ 30. And forget about going anywhere else to buy champagne. They’ve had Piper on special there for $ 25 for some time now. Seriously good selection, with an affable and knowledgeable owner and staff.
Really, I have nothing negative to say.
Easily the best wine shop I’ve seen in Miami.

Interesting, eclectic selection; helpful, knowledgeable service; excellent prices at all levels.

What can I say that hasn’t been said?
Selection from $ 5 to $ 150.
A whole section of $ 15 and under.
And, no fooling around if you say I want a bottle of wine that costs $X.
You know what I mean? He just shows you good wines at that price. None of this trying to sell you something more expensive.
I’ve never had a bad experience here — unless I get there too late and it’s closed — doh!

When I first realized this place had opened, I thought, «oh no, a high priced South Beach shi shi wine store.» Just what we need.
At the time, I was doing most of my wine buying at the candy store, er, Total Wine but I had to check it out. Man was I wrong. To be sure, they have their ridiculous high end wines and champagnes but here’s the great part. I am 100% confident that I can walk in there any day of the week and walk out with a very drinkable bottle of wine for $ 15.
Furthermore (it gets better), if I want to spend between $ 15 — $ 30 they always seem to have something that usually sells for close to $ 50. In fact, an employee at another wine bar that was selling Château La Tour Carnet for $ 49.99 was really upset when I told him it was only $ 19 at W. Somehow W does enough volume and has the right connections to get really good deals. Frankly I have NO problem with that!
The staff is knowledgeable and if I’m in a «don’t know what I want» mood, they always help me to find something interesting. Don’t let the small size of the place fool you, they have a better, more diverse selection than most stores twice as large. Probably because they don’t feel the need to carry the really large volume wines.
This place will surprise you. And if you do want to go in for your Château Margaux, I think they have you covered there as well.

I consider this one of the best wine shops in the Miami area. They have a solid selection of wines from $ 5 to the $ 150 ++ range. The selection carries a strong slant towards French, then American bottling with a fair representation of the rest. You won’t find the plethora of South American or Spanish wines populating most other shops, however.
Service is friendly and the proprietor is as willing to help you as let you get lost among the selection, which rotates frequently. he will talk happily to newcomers as well as more experienced oenophiles.
Prices are pretty good and they have a decent selection of champagnes (though not so much other sparklers). Last time I was there they told me they would be featuring more grower champagnes fairly soon.

First of all I’m pretty clueless when it comes to wine, connaisseur I am not. That is actually why I love this store! The owners, at least I think they are (I have not asked) are very knowledgable and helpful when helping me pick out a bottle of wine. My friends and I throw dinner parties on a regular basis and I try to pass by there to buy a bottle or 2 take with me. I love that I can walk in and tell them what the main dish is and they will pick an amazing bottle for me.
If you are on a budget they have a small section in the front for great buys under $ 15. I have never been disappointed by their selection and get good feedback from friends.
Another great aspect of this store is their weekly/​bi-​weekly tastings and events. When you go place your name and email on their mailing list and you will receive invites often. If you need help picking a bottle of wine for an event, especially around the holidays this is the place to go on the beach.
