This place is going by different aliases to avoid the bad reviews. The Pershing, the Columbus, the Chef Vincent. DONOTCOMEHERE. Worst service. They lied to us and told us the drinks were two for 25. Then the check came and the drinks were 55. Called the manager and he didn’t do ANYTHING. He basically told us we were wrong. Left no tip. They brought us shots that were obviously a reconciliation with probably some spit it in, and we just threw them on the plants. This restaurant is the worst on south beach. Never come here.

We ordered 1 drink and didn’t see the waiter again for more than 20 minutes. We decided to leave and it took 10 more minutes to get the bill. I paid cash and the waiter returned with the incorrect change then became arrogant and aggressive when I questioned it. $ 7.50 for a Miller Lite plus $ 3.00 for tip and taxes. Bad attitude and bad service should come at a much lower price.

This has to be the worst restaurant in SOBE. The food sucked. The waiters over promised and under delivered. I should have known better. Every restaurant experience I have had where they have a promoter outside the restaurant is usually pretty poor. I ordered a Cuban sandwich, which was made from crappy supermarket processed meats. The french fries that came with the meal were Ore Ida french fries you would find in the supermarket freezer aisle. The drinks were good, which all I would give it. The promoter had promised us a 20% discount on our bill but when our bill showed up the waitress said the discount didn’t apply to anything we ordered. Just my luck, right??? Also, the waitress told us neither their mens or womens bathroom worked. I mean, what place serves food/drinks and doesn’t have a working restroom. I recommend eating before you show up or just not showing up at all.

Great drummer. Booze situation sucks. They promise hookah & drink specials then end up serving watered down sugary drinks. To be expected on Ocean/Collins but the best you’ll get is mediocre drinks & a hassle at the bill. Find a better place on the strip & enjoy the beach!

We were promised 2 for 1 drinks(2 for $ 20), but was charged $ 25 and had to spend half an hour arguing with the manager. Terrible service. Mojito, and Pina Colada are excellent though!

Ok, so had my fav cousin come from Philly for a visit, and she’d heard all about the«Coronaritas» in Miami. She just HAD to have a Coronarita. I kept explaining to her that any bar that made margaritas and sold Corona could make it, but she tantrumed, so we stopped here @ The Pershing. First of all, the regular margaritas are eighteen-friggin dollars. They’re huge, no doubt, but I’ve had better @ Flannagan’s for like $ 3.99. What sold my cousin was that they offered us free shots of some tasty pink concoction. I wish I hadda name for you guys, but the dam music was so loud, I could barely hear my inner voices telling me to run for the hills before I took a damn sip! My big cuz and her friend split a Coronarita for a WHOPPING $ 30 bucks! I mean, it’s great that they got to split it, but in case you didn’t hear me the first time, it was 30… DAMN… DOLLARS! Then, cuzzo decided to grab an appetizer. We split what we thought was gonna be ATLEAST10 friggin wings for $ 12 bucks. ELWRONGO! There were 8 scored wings that looked like lollipops, so we didn’t even get the whole wing! The upsides: the wings were tasty; it’s a good spot for people watching(the saying it’s true: the freaks REALLYDO come out @ night); it’s right on Ocean Drive next to Johnny Rockets. Downsides: Creepy/horrible middle-aged DJ(complete with retreating {waaaay past receding} hairline) that kept playing the SAMEDAMNBEATOVERANDOVERAGAIN(I felt like I was being sent a subliminal message to buy more $ 20 drinks)!; A waiter that took 45 minutes to bring a check; $ 18-$ 30 per drink; appetizers were WAAAAAY too expensive. There are better, cheaper places even on Ocean Drive. Don’t bother!

My friends and I had breakfast here because it was conveniently located to our hotel. The food was horrible. My pancake didn’t even look like a pancake. My friends ordered a fruit bowl and they looked so sad. The service was also horrible! We were one of three tables being serviced and it took forever to get our food and even longer to get our check. What’s the hold up?

2 is for the view. But 1 is for the food. We were excited to wake up in South Beach and get a good breakfast. Nothing fancy, but something quick and yummy. We ordered eggs, hash browns, and a side of turkey to share. The only thing I liked was my coffee, actually, the only thing that I was satisfied with. Came with a side salad that was drenched in ranch dressing. The turkey was a circular thin slab of meat with holes in it, I would not be able to identify it. And my fiancé who is a meat lover, and not picky, eats McDees on the daily, did not even touch it. The food came 10 minutes later. And NOONE was eating there. Not surprised. Lesson learned. Sorry to those nice workers, but YUCK.

This place is terrible, I highly recommend going elsewhere. Even though it’s at a great location(right in front of the Colony Hotel on Ocean Drive), the service and what you get are not. I didn’t have a drink there, but I have been told that they have great drinks(though they cost an arm and a leg — $ 18). I had a milkshake that wasn’t thick at all, more like flavored milk, kinda strange. We ordered calamari and fried mozarella sticks. The calamari was so-so, but the fried mozarella was terrible! I’m pretty sure that wasn’t even mozarella, tasted more like white american cheese. And the dipping sauce for both was runny and thin and tasted like something from Chef Boyardee. The service was terrible. They harass you trying to get you to sit down, then they completely ignore you. Took forever to get anyone’s attention when we wanted something. There are lots of choices around in South Beach, so I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere.

Other than the fact that this restaurant is on Ocean Drive, there is nothing going for this place. We should’ve avoided this place purely based on the empty outside seating area, but we ended up taking a chance, albiet only to regret it :( They advertised a $ 9.5 lunch promotion which was horrible. The pizza was pathetic — it was nothing more than a tortilla with ketchup and cheese, with raw onions and bell peppers on top. The bruschetta was equally sad, served with a stale salad on the side. They also tried to bait us by saying they were offering free glass of wine with lunch and later claimed that they meant a 2 for 1 drinks offer priced at $ 18, which is not just pricey, but ridiculous! Will definitely not go there again.

Expensive, mediocre food, lame atmosphere and a 2 for 1(per person) drink scam to reel you in.

Hello! I am in the food industry and i am appalled how this restaurant did a bait and switch on me. They say come in for 2 for 1 drinks… I ask how much are the drinks? $ 18 ok sounds good! I always go to wet willies for some cold strong drinks to take to the beach, but today i thought how about trying a different place. i got the bill it was $ 48.00! i am not a cheap o but when i asked before hand i expected $ 18. If it weren’t for my date i would have gotten up and left. I will NEVER attend this restaurant again. And i am a miami resident I will tell everyone at my restaurant about my experience there, and hope they don’t visit this terrible restaurant. thank you

This place is alright. The view is great. The food is OK. I imagine the locals do not waste their time here. Ocean Drive in South beach was made for tourists like me. Restaurateurs designed the walk on Ocean Drive with me in mind. Clubs stay open with dancing until after dawn. Breakfast, lunch and dinner come with an ocean view. After you have danced all night,(maybe tied one on the night before) the walk along Ocean drive is filled with tidings to help you recuperate. Like the Latin quarter in Paris, each eatery has a pushy liaison trying to drag you in to eat at their restaurant of employ. The Pershing seemed as nice as any of the many choices on a beautiful day in south beach so I sat at a table facing the waves and ordered breakfast. This restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is American with an International flare.(breakfast is the best deal) I ordered coffee,($ 2) eggs and bacon,(around $ 6) which came with potatoes and salad. The scrambled eggs(2 stars) were slightly over cooked. The roasted potatoes(four stars) were fresh, skin-on and well seasoned. The salad(3 stars) is appreciated by me. I love salad with breakfast. I am allergic to toast.:-( The coffee was strong(five stars) and they keep it coming here. –Chase it with aspirin to drive away your Sobe hangover friends. The service was amazing.(five stars) My waiter was a sweetheart and tried to give me a free shot. I don’t like to drink first thing in the morning so I declined but maybe you do and would take advantage! The view(one million stars) is why this place is worth coming to again. Breakfast is served until 1PM which is helpful for all those, like me, who have stayed up late the night before dancing. Parking is metered along Ocean drive but the spots are hard to come by. The interior and the patio are smartly furnished with mod pieces and red cloth. After you eat here, take off your shoes and put your feet into the ocean, it is only twenty steps away.:-)
