Slow slow service and overpriced. Small potions(bruchetta, mushrooms with cheese, pasta og chicken salad) not enough for 2 adult and a infant. Go some where else.

WORSTSERVICEEVER! We went in on a Friday around noon time for lunch and sat and waited for our waitress for about 10 min. When she got to the last person in our group(7 ppl) she told my friend she couldn’t order a sandwich bc there were only 4 breads left. She should’ve told us that from the very beginning! She was so rude she did not try to accommodate us at all by at least trying to substitute the bread with bagel or any other bread she was more annoyed with us bc we were asking for alternatives. My friend decided to just split a sandwich with me but the waitress came back 15 min later and said she has bread now and can put in her order which was great. Everyone got their food about 20 min in but now we are missing a sandwich bc although she told us she’d put the last order in she did not. The last sandwich came out when everyone else already finished their meals. We literally watched about 6 ppl come in and didn’t get helped so they walked out. I am giving them a 2 star bc their food was actually really good. I got the Cubano and an iced cappuccino. I will not be visiting them again when I am in Miami.

Not impressed. We ordered quite late– a last minute decision. However, the time meant that there shouldn’t have been rush hour traffic, therefore we didn’t get how it took and hour and a half to get to us, also considering the close proximity. My egg croissant was cold and smushed. My friend’s pasta was not only the wrong type of pasta(linguine instead of penne) but it was ridiculously oily and the shrimp were the size of my pinky fingernails. She wasn’t able to finish it. My other friend’s oatmeal was missing walnuts, which was the main draw for her. We were too hungry to even call and complain so instead we posted our reviews here, haha. Maybe the food is better in the actual restaurant, but I’m not that tempted to find out.

We ordered a late dinner from here, which totaled 4 dishes. We weren’t expecting anything fancy or crazy good, but we were at least expecting for our orders to be accurate and to be delivered within a reasonable time frame. I, unfortunately, cannot say either of those were true. One of us ordered a pasta with shrimp. While ordering, they were given the option to choose linguine or penne. My friend chose penne. The pasta is supposed to be accompanied by shrimp and zucchini. When we opened the container, we immediately started cracking up. The shrimps were tiny(almost the size of a pencil eraser), there was linguine rather than penne, and it was a pitiful amount of pasta altogether. On top of that, I’m not sure how much oil they thought was needed to cook pasta, but I can assure you it shouldn’t be more than like a teaspoon. The pasta was literally dripping oil. Next were two sandwiches — one turkey and one vegetarian egg. Both were OK, but they were squished and cold, by the time they arrived. Finally, was an order of oatmeal. The oatmeal is supposed to come with raisins and walnuts and honey. It didn’t come with walnuts and maybe like 5 raisins. It was tastier than other oatmeal I have had(basing that off of like hotel oatmeal), but at least they have walnuts at hotels. On top of all this, our driver took more than 1 hour and 15 minutes to get here. So, yeah, don’t order from here unless you’re desperate or can pick up your own order… Or have your own supply of walnuts and normal-sized shrimp.

The good thing was that we were not hungry anymore! A lot of instant stuff! Small changes on the plates were not accepted!

The server was super nice, but didn’t speak great English, and that resulted in poor service. It’s an Italian place and when I asked for spaghetti I guess he didn’t understand me the first time and my friends food came and I waited another thirty minutes until realizing it was never ordered. So I asked again and he didn’t even know what spaghetti was. Literally. I had to point on the menu. The guy was super nice really but it was a bit frustrating. He also brought my friends drink but never brought me my water until after my food. I have multiple opportunities before giving a thumbs down but it was just a little annoying.

My 3rd time here. I do not know what happened to the woman that was there 2 weeks ago in the mornings. She made my Mr. Baker breakfast sandwich great. With 2 strips of fully cooked bacon. The woman who’s been here in the mornings for about and week(July 1 – 8, 20158am-Noon) and a half now throws my bacon in the microwave and she puts like a half of a piece of a soggy bacon in my sandwich. Sighhhh… who trained her??? Disappointed

Cute little place right off of Espanola… Very friendly staff, outdoor seating. Lovely lunch portion of lasagne. Very flavorful, nice place for casual lunch or dinner. They also have smoothies and pastries.

3.5 There are a lot of things SD does right but one thing that was very wrong. It’s enough to give me pause going back. First off, there’s a wonderful international flavor going on at the café. Italian food being prepared by a Dominican as Russians buy cake and ask for directions. There’s a lot of geographic diversity in Miami Beach but it’s not often that the denizens interact with one another. It was nice to see. Secondly, the menu is fantastic. They keep it simple and do what they do really well. It’s a carb explosion so if you’re avoiding all that yumminess, look elsewhere for sustenance. If you enjoy bread and the like, however, stop in for some good stuff. The sandwiches are where it’s at. Choose your bread(ciabata, baguette, focaccia, and panini) and go to town. My two favorites are the Turkey(avocado, turkey, speck, arugula, and tomatoes) and the Delicious(aptly named for its creamy avocado liberally spread along the bread, speck, chimichurri(asked for), turkey, ham, arugula, artichoke, and sun-dried tomato). I don’t know if the recipes are authentic to a certain region but they’re absolutely delicious, generously packed and very filling. Don’t stop with the savory, as the dessert options are just as fanciful. Any one of the number of fresh cakes are enough to sate my sweet tooth. The workers are pleasant. The owner takes pride in what he does and the hotel location means that there’s always some sort of activity milling about. So, what’s the problem? Twice I’ve shown up and a certain gentleman is taking a smoke break outside. He watches me go in, he throws out the butt, wipes his hands on his jeans… and then gets behind the counter to ask what I want. No sir. You’re going to wash those hands before they prepare my food. It’s too bad but it’s happened twice. It’s not a coincidence. I limit my outings to SD only to when I see the young Dominican lady behind the counter. Otherwise, i keep it moving.

Delicious is a quaint Italian café. The first thing I liked about Delicious was that I felt like I was in some ones home, it just feels warm and welcoming. I had the Bresaola salad, it was and option on the menu as a sandwich but they were kind enough to turn it into a salad for me. Anyways the ingredients were fresh and you can taste that the meat was high quality for what you pay for. I will be going back again and suggesting it to other friends. So needless to say that Delicious is quite delicious!
