Woodbridge Academy of Music is located in the beautiful town of Metuchen, NJ. We occupy a historical building in the heart of the old town on the Main Street. With an easy access by train or car and with an ample parking available.

Dr. Shevchenko is the absolute best! I started taking violin lessons at the Woodbridge Academy of Music with Dr. Shevchenko when I was 6 years old and only stopped when I went off to college at the age of 17. I can not even express how much I learned from him as my violin teacher and how grateful I am that my parents had started me in his school. Dr. Shevchenko is a magnificent teacher, a truly one-​of-​a-​kind classically trained violinist, who will teach you not only how to be a great violinist, but also how to appreciate music and become a disciplined student. With his guidance, I was able to successfully compete and play in the Regional and State Orchestras in First Violin, as well as compete internationally in a competition in Russia where Dr. Shevchenko had originally trained and was being honored. I am deeply honored to have been one of his students. Thank you for all that you have taught me Dr. Shevchenko!
