Our child care center has cared for and educated thousands of children since 1990. It was founded by Diana Callinan, a parent of four wonderful children. Diana, a former elementary school teacher, decided to open a commercial child care center when her family day care had more requests than she could accommodate. She began in Edison, NJ and after 10 years moved to Metuchen, NJ at 24 – 30 Hillside Avenue
About Us
Our child care center focuses on nurturing the entire child. We understand each child is unique and should not have to fit into a predetermined program. We help children to problem solve and make decisions, while promoting interpersonal communications. These are key elements which contribute to the child’s development, self esteem and confidence.
History
Established in 1999.
We are a family owned and operated Child Care Center & Preschool, we recently expanded and now offer Kindergarten as well We are not a large corporation. We are able to cater to each families individual needs and we are able to create the perfect program for each family.
We were located in Edison, NJ for 10 Years and moved to Metuchen in 2009.
We have a 95% retention rate for children. There are ten children presently registered with us who have been here at least 10 years. They have had the same caregiver for all of their childhood. We are very proud of that fact.

Business Owner
Diana has been in childcare for over 20 years. Starting off as a home daycare when her children were born, she quickly expanded and opened a school in Edison New Jersey she ran her business there until she later moved in 2009 to Metuchen where she found her home. Now located in Metuchen, the business has taken off.
