Planet Beach has taken the spa experience to a new place. Our spray & spa is a unique and innovative approach to the traditional spa. Members pay a monthly fee for unlimited fully-​automated sunless spray & spa services in a private room without the need of an attendant. These services include four types of massages, two types of facials, hydration treatments, teeth whitening, guided meditation, oxygen therapy, weight management treatments, and sunless spray tans. Planet Beach also offers a wide range of sunless lotions, skincare, and nutrition products. Our spas provide members everything they need to achieve their total skincare, wellness, and stress relief goals.

History

Established in 2004.

Health club and gym owner Stephen Smith was looking for a way to diversify his business and decided to add a tanning salon to his portfolio. In 1995, he found a location that was built out to be a tanning salon but never opened in uptown New Orleans. He signed a lease for this location and named it Electric Beach with a plan to franchise eventually. This was a natural tie-​in with his gym business. He had been in the health club industry for many years and understood the value of helping people to look and feel good.

Meet the Manager

Manager

Scott has been with us for over 4 years in a part time capacity, he just recently excepted our offer to help us grow and develop. He brings over 18 years of experience in business operations, experience. Scott recently joined us from a major telecommunications company where he served as a trainer of staff and sales lead. He also worked for a major hotel and restaurant group for 10 plus years. We are excited to have him aboard.
