Manager

David Raymond Jr. is the Operations Manager at Clean Fleet Auto Body. A native New Orleanian, David spent most of his life managing restaurants both here in the city as well as up and down the West Coast but never truly found his passion until he landed in the automotive repair industry after hurricane Katrina. Clean Fleet Auto Body has more than 30 years in business and the staff is expert at handling your insurance claim and works with all insurance companies. What a refreshingly great experience! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I’m so grateful for such a fantastic experience during a particularly stressful time. I’ll certainly be returning if I ever need auto body services again.

I contacted them to get a bumper cover replaced on my 2001 M3. They stated that they don’t work on cars more than 10 years old. When asked why I was told the part isn’t available. The OEM bumper cover is readily available. And not all body repairs require parts. It’s poor policy to redline a car due to age without even looking at the repairs and to state a part is not available when it is. NOTE THE 2001 BUMPER, READILY AVAILABLE, IS THE SAME PART WITH THE SAME PART NUMBER UNTIL 2006, SO THEY CAN GET THE PART FOR A 2006 (LESS THAN 10 YEARS OLD) BUT CAN NOT GET THE EXACT SAME PART FOR A 2001? HUH?

Just used Clean Fleet for the first time, and was blown away! The customer service was fantastic the minute I walked through the door. They also keep me posted every step along the way through email and phone calls. From insurance approval, to ordering parts, to being sent to paint, to headed to the final wash, I was always in the know.
The body work was also incredible, my baby looks like new again! they didn’t skip any corners and did the job right the first time! I looks better then i could have imagined. Oh and the inside was cleaner when I picked it up then when I dropped it off!
Their work also comes with a lifetime warranty to put the icing on the cake.
Hopefully I won’t need more body work but if so, I won’t be going anywhere else!

I asked Julie and Michele, the owners of C.A.R.S., a local automotive mechanical repair shop, who has never steered me wrong, where I ought to take my car after it was hit while shopping. She recommended Clean Fleet, on Hearst Street (S. Clearview and I-​10) in Metairie.
From the initial phone call I had with Ms. Birdie at Clean Fleet, I knew that they cared about their customers. The entire process was seamless — from estimate to acceptance of the completed work. After notifying the insurance company, Clean Fleet took complete charge.
Clean Fleet’s Brant was my claims consultant. He is very knowledgable and gave me first-​rate customer service. I was kept informed every step of the process, from the receiving of parts, the painting and through the pick-​up.
If you do choose Clean Fleet, expect to be wowed by the professionals there that are committed to providing exceptional service. Best of all was driving off with a perfectly repaired vehicle. My auto looked brand new.

There are no reviews, so I thought I’d help out. This place is great. Five stars because —
— they were all nice and good with the follow-​up calls
— they were informative — didn’t just give the bare minimum but added some good-​to-​knows
— they made the rental car situation seamless
— they handled the entire insurance end with literally no hassle for me — this is something I’ve never experienced before and my car has been damaged and rear-​ended in the past
— they were prompt and honest — told me when they ordered the wrong part, but adhered to the original quote time anyway
— the work is awesome, and they warranty it for the life of the car, which I believe since when I was there, someone was unhappy with the work and there was no pushback from the shop to re-​do it
— they send a sweet little thank-​you card afterwards
I don’t think I will take my car anywhere else if it gets damaged again. God forbid, but you never know.
