Saltgrass Steak House

Definitely not worth the price. My husbands Caesar salad was dry and didn’t come with croutons. My chicken had multiple hard spots. I ordered veggies and they did not bring them. Service was spotty and seemed distracted.
Gin and tonic was good. Of course the bread was good. But otherwise we were unimpressed.

The food was good but was not delivered to our table hot or even warm. The bread as always was warm and tasty.

I love eating at Saltgrass, but save yourself the time and the trouble and go to another location. I don’t know if it’s only me, but every time I dine at this location a manager has to visit my table because something was done wrong. They have gone up on their pricing, but at times I do not feel as if the quality of the food matches what they are asking for.

Chicken Laredo is to die for! My first time at Salt Grass! Have been craving it ever since I got it!

It takes a perfect steak to impress us. We had the filet Oscar style. WOW, now that is how a steak should look and taste! The dinner salad had awesome homemade dressing with big croutons. After reading the reviews on here I was sorry that we didn’t try any of the drinks but we plan to on our next visit.
The service was not what you typically get at Ruth Chris or Bob’s Chophouse but I would say it was 4 stars. The guy worked hard for us.

Great food, average customer service it depends on the time of the week you go. Some times are better then others. Most of the time the customer service is bad but the times you get a good server, they are extremely good. Expensive but all in all, would go back

Everything very good tonight dinner though my Salmon was pretty small portion. Was ok though since this is a steakhouse which these don’t normally have great fish selections. I would recommend the steaks as they all looked quite good.

Normally this place is very good, but today I am not very thrilled. When they don’t check the buzzers they give you for when your table is ready, then there is a problem. I waited while others that came in after me were seated. It wasn’t until I went to the hostess to find out why others were being seated that they told me the buzzer must be broken. This is unacceptable. Places that use the buzzer method to notify you should have a process to ensure the buzzer are working properly on a daily bases. I spoke to one of the managers on duty, but he really didn’t seem to care until I mentioned that I was going to be writing corp about the incident. I must say I was very pleased with the service I received from that point on. When places are at fault they should try to make your dining experience better than what you would normally expect. I am still sending a message to corp to ensure that no other customers are inconvenienced by faulty buzzer and a process is put in place to have them checked daily.

First of all I am not one to complain. I took my husband to salt grass for his 7÷12÷15 it was a Sunday luckily we didn’t have to wait. I ordered the Salmon Oscar he ordered the Steak. They ran out of broccoli so he ordered double mash. Once the waiter delivered our food my plate look as if it was a kids meal there was not any crab on the plate and the salmon was barely there. So I asked the waiter is this the lunch plate he said know with a smirk This is the only thing I eat there so for $ 24 I will not be going any more

Never got to eat, even though I arrived right at closing time and they refused to serve me. Zero points for hospitality and honoring the posted hours of operations.

Delicious steak! I had a wonderful time, server was very friendly, the atmosphere was nice and the food was impeccable!

I have been here a handful of times. Thus far, we have sat at the bar because they have a wait for tables (generally a good sign). I am using 4 STARS instead of 5 because there has been a lack of consistency (mostly with the bartenders service).
The bartenders are nice enough, but are not always «on top of» attending to their customers sitting at the bar from time to time. To be fair sometimes they seem pretty busy, but I don’t understand why the manager (who is standing there for long periods of time, and I have watched him act very questionably with a server in front of customers) doesn’t assist them.
The food there is easily 4.5 Stars. My steak has always been prepared correctly, the salad is fantastic, the bread is wonderful, and my sides are delicious. They also carry a wine I have found at very few places (which is a personal preference of mine). Portions are also nice. Definitely worth checking out at least once!

First time here. Have food allergies and specifically asked for no butter on my steak or potatoes. Both came out with huge globs of butter, even though the waiter wrote down my request and assured me everything would come out correctly. Manager came over and apologized while a new meal was prepared for me. I appreciated the apology and fresh food, sans the butter. Overall, the steak was good. No riesling wine on the menu. Seated quickly on a Friday night.

This place is always outstanding. A great place to get a delicious steak without the enormous prices. This location was especially awesome because after mistakenly leaving my credit card behind, the manager personally took extra care until I got it back. If you are not a Landry’s Select Club member, I recommend you become one. Their rewards program is phenomenal and if you are a regular, there is no losing with it.

Easily the best food of my trip. I think that might have been the best piece of meat I’ve ever eaten! The staff was wonderful! Our fabulous waiter, Jeremy, figured out we were from out of town and gave us great recommendations for entertainment! The food was delicious, great atmosphere, and we got our food quickly. Go here it’s worth the money!

What’s a visit from Seattle without a visit to our favorite Steakhouse??? I’ve had dreams of the Steak Butter Sauce and how wonderful it is. My only wish would be that they would build one of these puppies in my area. This place is one of the many reasons I can’t wait to move back to TX.
We always start out with some bread and I’ll get 4 or 5 of the top shelf margaritas. It’s a great thing because between the bread soaking up the alcohol it becomes a «delayed drunk» kind of scenario. It could take an hour or three for you to feel and enjoy the awesomeness that they offer.
The food has always been amazing. If you are in the DFW area and have some change on you then any of the local Salt Grasses would please you. Be sure to ask for extra steak butter because it melts so quickly.

Why wouldn’t you give this place 5 stars. It does everything to perfection. Yes it’s a little pricey but you get what pay for.
The steaks are alway perfect. The wedge salad is well wortg the extra charge with the entrée.
Get the $ 25 select card. It will pay for itself over and over. They give you $ 25 every year on your birthday. I’ve had my card for 5 years and LOVE it.
If you are on a budget they have early dinner specials between 4 and 6 pm.
Go big or go to Golden Corral.
The service is impeccable too

Lots of people waiting for a table for lunch during a weekday, yet I’m seeing lots of empty tables. Hostess having to explain over and over to irritated customers that Saltgrass doesn’t have the staff at lunch they do at dinner. I won’t be going back because I don’t have time to wait for lunch.

My husband and I do not get to go out alone very often but when we do, we want it to be special. We decided to go for an early dinner since we had been out shopping and worked up quite an appetite.
My husband requested the largest steak that was offered. What he got was not as described at all. The steak was not that big so he requested a larger one. My husband was not rude in any way.
The manager came to the table and he was noticeably irritated, rude and scolding to my husband. I was shocked at how rude he was being. It was as though we were children and the manager was the disciplining adult who was there to teach us a lesson for not liking what we received.
After taking his steak to prepare what he wanted, my food sat on the table to get cold. After 15 minutes or so the server offered to take my food to keep it warm. It was already cold by now.
When we both got our food, mine was rare when I ordered medium and it was very tough and hard to cut. I was scared to say anything to the manager after the way he acted towards my husband. I could not even cut my steak because it was so tough. I didn’t get to eat it at all.
This was so disappointing and I am so upset over the whole ordeal. What SHOULD have been a nice time for my husband and I turned out to be a miserable meal where we felt very uncomfortable! Thanks a lot Saltgrass Steak House! You charged us close to $ 100 for miserable service and food that was not even edible!

I always enjoy coming here to eat, great food & service. Hands down my favorite is the shrimp platter! It’s so good, I eat it everytime I go. Perfect combination of fried, grilled, coconut & bbq shrimp embrochette, which is all sorts of awesome! I get it with the salad (ranch) & loaded potato. Also, the strawberry lemonade is amazing.
