I didn’t buy a truck buy a truck because they had nothing we wanted but they were nice enough. I probably know more about the vehicles they are selling than these guys do. low pressure but mediocre inventory. Good luck, Buyer beware.

I purchased a 2008 Ford Expedition from their Mesa location in May of 2014. The rear climate controls never worked. I have been laid up due to surgery and only was recently able to investigate the problem. It appears there is no wiring for the rear climate controls, and that the console (which contains the control panel) is not the correct unit for this vehicle. I know that Trucks Only replaced the console because the console has a tag with «Sullivan Motor Company». Not only that, but the console was secured to the truck with a single 3″ deck screw, not the proper brackets and screws that would normally be found. I was very disappointed to make this discovery and feel that the vehicle was misrepresented to me.

I bought a 04 Ford F-​350 truck here (Trucks only) and got screwed and lied to through the hole buying process. They changed the agreement at signing by $ 40 a month. Was told the motor was bulletproofed. It’s a 04 F-​350 6.0 diesel. Turned out its not. Brought it in a few months ago 2or3 to have the drivers side hub replaced and 4 wheel drive check. Two months later I got this (see pictures)!! Turned out they never even changed the hub. I was told by Dave in service (service manager) it was replaced and 4×4 tested. It never worked from the 1^st time I tried it and they say it’s not there problem. I do not recommend buying shit from them. Chris Johnson was my lying salesmen nice guy, I liked him but turned out everything he told me about the truck was a lie. Now it’s costing me $ 1000 in parts to fix it myself. I have not had it even a year yet. Nothing but problems.
Was told by Dave in service hub and 4×4?was check and tested just 2 months ago. Finally needed the 4 wheel drive and this happened. Turned out that they never even replaced the hub. Look at pics looks original to me. All bolts were rusted on. Needed WD-​40 to loosen up. These guys are scumbags. Total lying f-​ers. Chris Johnson was my sales guy. Swore the motor was bulletproofed. I had it check by ford and it was also total bull shit to get a sale.
Was offered $ 500 to go away and stop letting you know about the bad experience I had. They tried to pay me off to shut up. Just proves they were fully aware they knew they lied and caused me more issues.

Trucks only claims to be a honest company with integrity and good business practices. This is a lie. My husband and I went in to buy a second vehicle for our family. They put us in a nice looking expedition. Both the company and our family mutually agreed on downpayment and we signed a contract. We were told we would not receive a phone call in a few days asking for money down. Not even 24? hours later we pull the truck out of the driveway to find oil leaking out from underneath. Under Arizona lemon laws any used vehicle to be sold must have any pre-​existing conditions disclosed. On our contract there were no pre-​existing conditions listed and no issues with the vehicle were ever disclosed to us. We took it into a mechanic and were quoted a $ 600 repair bill for two oil gaskets. We called and asked them to fix the vehicle because it hadn’t even been 72 hours and this truck had this issue before it was ever purchased then said no and after about 30 minutes of back and forth they said they would call us back. An hour later I receive a phone call phone trucks only asking for $ 500 more dollars for a downpayment. You want me to give you $ 500 more dollars after we agreed on a downpayment and signed a contract with that downpayment after o called you and hour earlier to tell you the car had mechanical problems and you refused to fix it?! No. They dummy signed us a contract. Needless to say we returned the car the next day and demanded our downpayment back. With no leg to stand on they gave it back. This place is dishonest, cheats, and liars. Do not do business with Trucks only and if you do before you buy any vehicle take it to a mechanic on the test drive before you ever sign any papers. Buyer beware.

Best truck/​car buying experience I’ve ever had! The folks at the Apache Junction property took great care of my Wife and I. We got the truck we wanted and couldn’t be happier! Susan was about as good as they come!

Well the term 60 in one hand and 40 in the other comes to mind. Firstly Bobby Jr. From Florida is spectacular. Honest, and worked with me. He was patient and sold me on his cool personality before he sold me the truck. If you do come here look for him!!! That’s the 40% good. Now the 60% bad… Chris Sullivan can be a jerk. As any consumer has the right, I wanted to check some things out before I made the purchase. As I made the final decision to go ahead and get the vehicle I said «let me call my wife» just to let her know, this guy throws his pen down and gruffly says «well make your call!» and walks out. Not good customer service. He might be the owners son, but he could learn from Bobby a thing or two about customer service. Also I’m no dummy at all, I left the car there to fix a problem and get detailed in and out. Car was never cleaned, and I’m still waiting on Dave to call about the part that was suppose to have been gotten. At any rate I was promised a $ 20 gas card for my review, and I have been honest. They move 1200 units a month, so they are secure. Just have some things to fix in the «honesty» and «patience» dept.

Absolutely appalling business tactics! Do not buy from these crooks!!! I never go out of my way to make negative comments, but this situation really took the cake. What a waste of time, energy and money. Don’t waste your time with these people, trust me! They actually cost my family money in the end and we didn’t even buy a car from them! WHAT A JOKE!!! I have never been jerked around by a so called «business» so badly in my whole life! They are liars. It’s unfortunate that a business can jerk innocent people around just to try and make a dime. Sad.

Bought an SUV from here in April and have had nothing but issues ever since. Had to have them detail the car after purchase because it was never done in the first place. I advised them that the AC wasn’t working well and they said they could look at it at time of sale and never did. Asked for my old plate to be transferred and a new plate just arrived in the mail. My mechanic stated that the AC compressor is bad and when TO went to fix the problem they said the compressor is fine. Car still does not blow cold air. Janet in finance will not return calls or look at emails, Phil in sales will not follow through with promises and David in service lies about the condition of the vehicles. As a consumer if you are looking to buy from here, be on your «A» game and have your own mechanic check out the vehicle.

NOT impressed with this dealer at all. My husband bought a diesel here and traded in our F-​150. First let me say I hate the car buying process. Its dishonest and slimy. They did give us a decent amount for our trade in but the truck we bought had very old sun rotted tires. We fought for them to replace them and put new tires on because of how bad they were. They agreed and said they would order some in. I had to call them everyday, multiple times a day in order for it to get done. Very frustrating and a compete waste of my time. No one would give me straight answers as to when I could come by and get the tires put on or when they would even be in. Don’t waste your time using them when there are a ton of better dealers around the valley. I regret giving them my business and our next purchase we will definitely be going elsewhere.

Bought first truck there, bad experience. As last resort we tried calling about a second truck. We’ll never go back. Worst customer service. They’ll lie, cheat and steal to get you to buy one of their trucks and you’ll have plenty of problems with it. They are well versed in bait and switch tactics and if you’re not interested, they’ll hang up on you like spoiled children. Save yourself the headache.

I am surprised to see negative reviews of this fine business. My experience was completely different and while the process of purchasing any vehicle can be stressful, I felt these guys did their job well. I came in with very specific demands and they met everyone of them and more, they actually gave me more money for my trade in than I thought it was worth! I would recommend these guys to a friend, but just come prepared to negotiate a fair price. This is America and they are a business that is trying to make money. I believe they were honest and fair brokers and I am happy with my new truck.

Just bought my second truck from trucks only, first time was a huge run around but still got the deal done. This time seems to be a better experience so far!

My husband just purchased a truck here– good options for trucks and he did find what he was looking for– however the condition of the truck after purchasing it was completely disappointing. First of all during the test drive he noticed the AC wasn’t working properly so he was unable to take the truck home that day and was told he could pick it up the next. The next day he gets a call saying that the brakes need to be changed and he would have to wait another day. Two days later he’s now told the truck pulls and needs new bearings. Had to wait another day! They ended up paying for his current rental and «filling the gas tank» (not all the way for some reason!?) and now we have it and the stereo doesn’t work. Get your vehicles ready to go before putting them on the lot! Wouldn’t buy from them again due to the hassle and run around for days!!!

If I wasn’t ready to buy within the first 5 min of sitting in one of their trucks on the lot the salesmen would get all pissed off. Dude; slow the «f» down. I didn’t even know what kind of truck I sitting in or how much it was. I don’t know about most people but id like to take more then 5 min on a 30k purchase. It sucks because they did have a large selection but the service was so bad that I’m buying somewhere else. Also, look at the other reviews left for this place… enough said.

This place is ok at best for the purchase of a vehicle. I have had worse experiences at Earnhart and Larry Miller in the valley here but overall have had better luck in other cities. Maybe it’s this town that makes car-​buying a hassle.
As if I wasn’t educated on the car that I was purchasing, I had to negotiate for Kelly Blue Book value of my chosen vehicle. The salesperson said he was going to «go to bat» for me… whatever. Also, be very wary of APR offers. They apply to next to no one so don’t get your hopes up.
They offered to fix the visible issues with my car. Oil change hadn’t been done since ¹¹⁄₂₀₁₁ and when I drove off the lot, I realized that there was NO GAS IN THE CAR. Seriously?! So clearly, the basics aren’t taken care of. The car was acquired at an auction (basic information that a car fax report will give you) and it is disappointing to think that no other maintenance was done in order to sell this car at an initial inflated $ 5K over KBBV. (Don’t worry, I at least got them to give it to me for $ 3 UNDER KBBV by «twisting their arm»)
Will I buy from them again? No. Will I recommend them? Only if you have a mechanic that you really like that will inspect it for you. Unfortunately, I haven’t found one of those yet, but that’s another story for another time.
I don’t have buyer’s remorse for the actual vehicle… yet. I like it and it fits my needs.

If you’re reading this, do not go here!!! I bought a truck recently with no problem. Then two days later they want me to come in and put down a huge down payment. I understand if I didn’t qualify, but why would they send me home with it and lead me to believe otherwise. They are completely unethical!

I purchased a truck from this establishment and added a provision that the truck had to pass my mechanic’s inspection. I’m so glad I did that! The truck needed a new transmission. The mechanic said that the issues with the truck were obvious from any basic inspection. When I presented this to the dealership, they said they wanted THEIR mechanics to fix it. I, of course, was not ok with this since the mechanics passed it through their first inspection, why would I think they were capable and/​or honest enough to fix it correctly this time? They were not willing to even look at the paperwork from my mechanic and give them an opportunity to fix it.
In addition, the manager and the secretaries are rude and impatient and have a problem hearing out the customer.
I drove to Mesa from Tucson to look at trucks with this dealership. I feel that the dishonesty and poor customer service earns less than one star, but that just doesn’t work here on Unilocal so they get 1 star.
