What a scam … In their ‘bankruptcy clearance’ they marked everything up to make it look like they marked things down. These people have to be kidding me. The had a stupid standard recliner that showed an original price of $ 1195, then marked down to $ 795. Give me a break. I could get a GOOD, Name Brand, QUALITY recliner for $ 400 or $ 500. Don’t waste your time going to these crooks. There’s a reason they are bankrupt.

They have a going out of business sale. Maybe all the 1 and 2 star reviews had something to do with it. We came here looking for a dining room set. We found a nice table with 4 chairs. The original price was $ 699,00. The manager let us have it for $ 399.00. that’s what we would have spent on the chairs alone. The sales rep was friendly and informative. I felt we got a good deal. They do advertise that all sales are final and no refunds. the tag on the table was marked«sold as is».

So the Room Store LOST the couch that we bought last Friday — they charged my credit card but now can’t produce the couch. They«think» they may have sold it to someone else. This has taken 3 hours worth of phone calls, they aren’t apologetic at all — and no, they haven’t refunded my $ yet. This is ridiculous.

The furniture looks pretty good… it’s not exactly what was described to me, but overall I am fairly happy with the purchase.

Nice furniture at reasonable prices. Great customer service and a friendly, knowledgeable sales team. Ask for Dave when you walk into the showroom, he’s great. I wouldn’t buy furniture anywhere else.

I recently just bought my first home so I was excited to get my first couch. I found a beautiful sectional for $ 3,000. When they delivered it I was currently painting my home so I obviously didn’t want to bring it in the wet paint filled home. I had them leave it in my garage and signed for it. When I was done painting I brought it in the house and unwrapped it, there was a rip in the back of the couch about an inch big. I called them and they first stated I signed for it so I was taking responsibility for the rip, I aked to speak to the manager and explained spending $ 3,000 for a couch with a hole in it was not right. After a long convincing talk they finally agreed to send a tech out to look at it. The problem was it was the only send a tech to Chandler Monday Wednesday and Friday they could come from 8 to 4. The problem was I work Monday threw Friday. After sending me through the ringer for 2 months we finally found a day they’d be able to come that worked with my schedule. They were rude the entire process and made an inconvenience for me to comit to their times when they were the ones who gave me a less than satisfactory product. I will never buy anything from the roomstore ever again.

Had bad service 10 years ago from Roomstore. Decided to try again. Worst custumer service ever after purchase. Promises broken. Bought a sectional, $ 2500.00. They said we had 5 days to review before we could not send it back. We told them, we could not review for 5 days as we did not live in the house yet. Salesperson stated we could wait till we actually moved in, and extend the review period till after we had moved in and had 5 days. WRONG, the day we come out to test it out the recliner did not work, Called customer service, they stated the 5 days were up, they can come look at it. I did not pay 2500 for a repaired product. Called supervisor to get more info. They setup an appointment, they did not show up and told us we rescheduled. WEDID not as we had to take off work. When telling them this, they basically said that was too bad and they will reschedule again. Director(Tim) of customer service hung up on us when we requested info to Main office. TERRIBLE customer service. Save your money and buy from a reputable dealer. STAYAWAY. I just do not want anyone else to have to deal with these crooks.

Sad to say that I tried to buy a quality bedroom set from this store and 3000 dollars later I am left with a headboard that has a hole that goes all the way through and rough areas so bad you could get a splinter. Even the so called technician that came out noted on his report the roughness of side rail are and footboard joint. I am going to try and upload the pictures I took They said they would replace part of the bed but not all. What is the use in that? When I ask for call backs from managers it never happens. This has been going on for 3 months Once they have your cash that is it folks !!! Trying to upload pic In the past year I have bought from Ashley, American Furniture Warehouse. — not a thing wrong with any of the purchases from those stores Hope you think and look at these review before you deal with Roomstore !!!

Purchased a mattress at the room store, Stearns and Foster, paid $ 1.700. 6×6. within a week deep depressions, called they replaced it. Make a long story short, replaced 4 times in 6 months. this last matt I paid another $ 300. this matt has also failed. I asked for my money back on the third exchange, we don’t refund I was told, I said charge me for the time that I used the mattress they refused. I am going to contact the AG state of AZ. Do not purchase anything from the Roomstore!

Beware: inspect your furniture VERY carefully. Poor stitching on a seam on 5 month old leather loveseat is causing hole in leather. No warranty covers. Don’t bother buying extra warranty — doesn’t help with much of anything. Look at all your shipping options before spending money here.

I would be very careful about buying furniture from this store. I bought my furniture there when I moved here. I bought a 5 year warranty if anything happened to any of the pieces. Let’s face it, furniture is not built like it used to be. 3 months after purchase, the power recliner had stitching come apart. You think it would be simple to come and stitch it up. Well, after 2.5 months of waiting to have the chair fixed, It finally did get completed. Well, the same chair had the other arm lose the stitching in it. After calling the middle of August, the chair is still sitting here, seam apart. Everyone seems to drag their feet when it comes to repairing the furniture… Stay away… Very poor customer service.

A few decent items but the sales people don’t give you 5 seconds to actually look, browse, and discuss. Could not even talk to my wife without the woman interrupting me every time I tried to speak. Was considering buying but just walked out because she wouldn’t let us get more than 5 feet away from her. To the woman working on Presidents Day evening 2014. NOTHANKSONTHEPAINTERSTAPEIDEA!!! For future customers, STOP suggesting after they have acknowledged your ideas!!! Went to a competitor and bought a whole living room.

This was the easiest furniture buying expereince ever. I had already bought he bulk of my furniture elsewhere and needed something a little more reasonably priced and so we went in the roomstore. The sales person immediatly helped us and wasn’t pushy or annoying. He wrote down measurements for me, got us discounts, and arranged delivery all within less time than anywhere else I have shopped. The customer service called several days before the delivery to confirm the address and then again the day before with the delivery time window. The delivery people showed up on time and were in and out in minutes and very nice. I was a pleasant expereince for something that is usually a hassle. This isn’t the highest quality furniture but when you need something really reasonably priced, this is the place!

Really late update: furniture was delivered quickly and efficiently. It’s been a few months with it and we love what we purchased; great quality stuff and the customer service during delivery was excellent.

Purchased furniture set(couch, loveseat, chair) a few days after Thanksgiving. We were aware of the 72 hour full refund-return policy. Furniture was such poor quality, it had to be returned to Roomstore for ‘repair’. They took the furniture for repair and called to say they needed an extra day for the fix. The next day that furniture was to be redelivered, it never showed as they forgot to schedule the return. Upon getting furniture back, it had NOT been repaired, at all, and had been slightly damaged in a couple areas. We had another ‘technician’ come out to look at furniture, and subsequently Rooomstore told us the furniture was in ‘acceptable’ condition, and squeaks, groans, and pops coming from the arms, cushions, and backs of furniture were ‘normal’. Had to go to a differing Roomstore to get replacement furniture and of course pay more for poor quality. On some of the furniture they sell, the cushions cannot be flipped, as there is no matching fabric on cushion bottoms. They willingly admit the furniture is not designed to last over seven years… it’s on the sales documents. This, by far, was the worst purchase experience in regard to furniture buying. Customer service is generally unaware and relatively uncaring and often have to «contact a manager» for a solid, factual response. Although they are Arizona based, please research other stores/chains and avoid Roomstore and the problems and issues we had.

Overall good selection of inexpensive, mid-quality furniture. If not for one salesperson, my review could have gone another direction. He was very helpful and came up to me several times. The other salesmen seemed to flock to the families and elderly who looked like they might make larger purchase.
