Had furniture delivered Friday, guys accidentally picked up our drill with their stuff on the way out. Accidents happen. After a bit of a run around with customer service, we were able to get in touch with Renee through Unilocal and Renee helped us out, found the drill and it is being delivered back to us today (Saturday). Huge help, many thanks to her, she’s amazing and totally saved the day! Furniture looks great and we will be back again.

i am writing this review to warn people that do not care about customers after the
explain i bought a sofa and table and chairs and than about a year later we lost 2 of the balance legs and went in ordered 4 to replace them. first i had to wait 2 to 3 weeks and they mailed to wrong address and after going in month later and they had to order them again and still waiting so i went back to just get my 17 $ dollars back and then was given excuse that could not find me in the system. and after getting the assistant mgr involved they gave me the run around saying since my bank has switched from visa to master card that i had to get my bank give me some paperwork that shows that was my card even after finding my account for a third time still not willing to get 17 $ dollars. And you know they gave an. excuse that the parts dept. was not the
i am still out my money and this company has no customer skills on how to make a bad situation a good one. I was in customer service and I know my bosses ever seen this situation they would have made me make it right especially over 17 $ dollars with the amount you spend and than ordered parts from them and screwed up 3 times and yet I am out 17 $ dollars until I get paper work from another state and my bank could not believe that they are doing this to me but trust me they new I was upset and I have the right to be. And I hope someone in this company will look into this but as we all seeing big businesses do not seem to care and this company has lost me and anyone I know about the way they do business. excuses excuses excuses and I will get 17 $ dollars back they need to understand you cannot treat people like this and still expect the customer to want to come back. AND I KNOW HOW IT WORKS ONE BAD SITUATION THAT CUSTOMER WILL TELL AT LEAST TEN OTHER PEOPLE ABOUT THE SITUATION AND I WILL TELL ANYONE AND EVERYONE THAT CAN.

The store its self was very nice and clean. The people were friendly, not pushy which I appreciate. My sales person was new and had to go looking to others for my questions to be answered. She left out very important information about delivery and fees. She also didn’t mention that they do not do any returns, exchanges or store credit.
My VERY EXPENSIVE couch is a piece of crap. I just made my first payment and already wish I could take it back. The second day I got my couch it looked used, like a floor model so I called and they sent out someone. He was very nice listened to me but couldn’t do anything for me. he told me to fluff the seats and that that’s how they would all look after being used. That my couch was a 3 – 5 year couch tops. The next day I noticed a rip in the seam of the couch and have found 2 sharp tips of nails sticking out. I dislike my couch more and more each day.

great customer service, bought 2 Tables and chairs, and 2 TV stands with fireplace, ashley furniture is a great place to shop for furniture.

Absolute worst furniture company with zero integrity. Like others who have reviewed our furniture was severely delayed from delivery date. Once it was finally delivered, it arrived incorrectly and became our problem to correct it. Months into it we finally ended up with all the items we purchased. That actually wasn’t enough to prompt me to write a review. Recently, our coffee table, they we owned for less than a year, has been peeling (side note: We purchased the EXTENDED warranty). When the service tech came out he told me it was water damage and they wont help. It didn’t matter I told him we use coaster and I assured him there hasn’t been lingering water. It was our fault. I have no kids and all of my furniture is well cared for. Irrelevant they say. It looks like water damage, it couldn’t possibly be defective coat we can’t help. They sell cheap furniture, don’t stand behind what they sell (even if you buy an extended warranty), and utilize unethical business practices.

This specific location did not greet us or acknowledge we were there. Now usually if you make eye contact someone will atleast say hello. I was there with my husband and family for 20 minutes before we left. Needless to say another store got our business. I will tell everyone of the experience we had here.

Although my fiancé and I had a good experience at the store itself (only after 1 salesman just walked away mid way through asking him a question). Their customer service and their «5 year warranty» protection service is crap. We spent almost $ 7,000 to furnish most of the rooms in our new home. The foot board and the dresser chipped off in chunks by simply running your nail over a tiny little bump. The kitchen table we ordered came broken and we had to wait 48 hours to hear from customer service before we could get a new one delivered. We ended up having to call them. FOUR TIMES. They can’t get anyone to come out and repair the missing chunks on the bedroom set until a month later. Their furniture is cheap. Even their «high end» line is cheap. I will NEVER recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. Save your money and your sanity!

My husband and I went into the Ashley Furniture store last month for a new mattress. We were immediately helped, but I didn’t feel the salesman was too pushy. He gave us a chance to try out several mattresses and waited at a distance, so we could talk and not feel pressured. He even informed us of deals and other cost cutting ideas. We then wondered the store and ended up getting a new kitchen table and chairs as well. The mattress was out of stock, but we set up a delivery date and it came in on-​time. I also appreciated the delivery guy calling us when he was on his way, so we knew exactly when to expect them. Overall, a very good experience and we would visit again for future purchases.

First off, let me start by saying that last July we purchased a bed and nightstand for my daughter at AFW. It was the Ashley signature dollhouse line. AFW brought the items the very next day and assembled them in my home and they’re perfect not one issue. Fast forward to 5÷2÷15 we wanted to purchase a matching dresser and nightstand however AFW was currently out of stock of these items. We decided to go to Ashley’s and purchase the items. Our salesman Roy Miller said he would lower the prices to less than AFW’s to save us money blah blah. Ashley’s delivery charge was $ 99 which seemed high roy assured us that AFW really charges more for delivery but that was a lie. The soonest delivery date was ⁵⁄₂₇ which seemed ridiculous but we did it. Roy needed help with the computer and called over his unnamed manager who was rude as hell and condescending with roy in front of us. I had to call and reschedule the delivery because we were not going to be home. Waited on hold for 15 minutes for customer service and got a rude rep who couldn’t find our order with our phone number or order # and kept insiting I was giving incorrect info despite the fact I told her that i was looking at my paperwork. She finally found my order 10 minutes later with a new order # but couldn’t explain why. we got the delivery rescheduled to ⁵⁄₃₀ and they were supposed to call 2 days ahead with our delivery window. that was a lie i had to call on ⁵⁄₂₉ to find out the delivery window because they are «short staffed» not sure how that’s my problem and if the time didn’t work that too’s bad since it’s less than 24 hours out now I would be charged $ 49 to reschedule. Complete joke! the deliver people finally show up with our pieces and the dresser has chunks of wood missing out of the drawers and on the sides, the back is barely hanging on and the drawers do not line up or close correctly. The nightstand is creaky and has gaps on it and chunks of wood missing too. we complain to the delivery people who speak little to no english and they say they can have someone come out to paint. these items do not need to be painted we need new items that are correct. the drivers leave and customer service calls a few minutes later to scheduled painting i said no and ask how to return the items, we’re advised to go to the store. Get to the store and greeted by a smiling salesman the second we ask how to return something he tells us where to go and walks the other way, he didn’t even offer to walk us there. We get to the return desk and are called up by a girl and then directed to another girl. We got a couple pathetic I’m sorry’s and that was it. The rude manager was standing there but did not acknowledge or anything. Ashley’s does not do pick ups on Sundays or Mondays so we’re stuck with this garbage furniture until Saturday and then can get a refund. AFW is bringing our new items on Monday and it’s even less than what Ashley’s charged. Funny how that happens when we «were given such a great deal». It absolutely amazes me how this pathetic store is still in business. We have had issues with a sofa and recliner purchased here in the past as well. I will NEVER STEP FOOT IN ANOTHER ASHLEY’S AGAIN. I will shop at AFW or Roomstore which is two doors down and I caution others to do the same.

We had a very specific size for a sectional that we needed and after visiting the various stores around town and this location a few times we decided to purchase. Our salesman was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. We paid cash on March 27^th and were told that it would be delivered in April. We were told we would receive a phone call about two days prior to confirm delivery window. We received a call two days prior BUT it was to say that they would NOT be delivering as it was on back order and now it would be late May. Now this was NOT a custom piece, it was a model they still show and you do not get any choices We could have purchased a custom made sectional in this amount of time. We went to the store they gave us a credit for delivery charge and assured us that they were expecting the section that was back ordered (huh?) in and saw no issue with receiving it May 22^nd Well May 20^th we received a call and you guessed it. IT IS EXPECTED TO BE READY SOMETIME AT THE END OF JUNE!!! Needless to say we went back to the store and were met with indifferent attitudes so we cancelled. They’ve had our money long enough. They don’t care and are still selling the same pieces. By the way I called the store asking how fast I could get the sectional pretending to be a new guest and was told an earlier date. Never again

We had a very pleasant experience with our recent Ashley purchase. Our salesperson was very knowledgable and professional. She even had some great ideas for switching out the throw pillows. Our furniture took a little while to come in, but that was expected because it was on a sale. It was delivered on the day they promised and during the time slot promised. I would shop here again!

On our never-​ending search for a dining room table that we both like and can afford, we stopped by this location and the sales associate was helpful and negotiated with price. We haven’t pulled the trigger yet, but this location is one we may revisit when we are able due to the stock and assistance we received.

I walked in this store on Monday around 11am. I sat in four different chairs, examined several, did 2.5 laps around the store and walked out. Not a single person said anything to me! No one even acknowledged my presence. I walked in, money in hand, ready to buy and walked straight out. A simple «be with you in minute» would have kept me there and they would have had a sale. On the way out I noticed a help wanted sign on the door. Apparently Captain Obvious has started working there.
Also, I didn’t ask for help because I couldn’t tell who worked there from the customers. And I don’t think I should have to ask for help. You want your commission then work for it.

I wanted to share my most recent experience with Ashley furniture. I had recently posted a few words on Ashley on service and quality of the furniture I purchased, I had contacted the store and the CSR I spoke to did follow protocol on the warranty guidelines, unfortunately he wasn’t experienced enough to help me any further. I didn’t ask for anything out of line or free materials to fix my furniture. I was contacted by Chris Heintz from Ashley on my concerns. I hope I spelled his name right. Chris was very helpful on what I needed and what to do about my issues. Chris sent out all the needed parts plus. We now have all our furniture working properly again. We now can go forward when we need furniture and put them back on we would buy from them again list.

Horrible experience. I love my furniture but the nighmare it has been to get it and I still don’t have it all was not worth it. I paid over $ 5000 for furniture and 3 pieces came very damaged. Then I was on hold for over 40 minutes for customer service. Then they couldn’t even get me the pieces until next week and it is their fault not mine. The guys that delivered the furniture were very patient and helpful but the customer service is a nighmare. In the store they were polite and helpful for the sale but then they refuse to do anything and say you have to contact the customer service number which never answers. Three pieces of damaged furniture is not acceptable.

After a few phone calls from the District Manager urging me to please call, I did call back to the store and spoke with an extremely professional and helpful woman named Monica. She listened patiently to my explanation of what happened and concerns. She apologized profusely for how I was treated. Even before this I did understand its not Ashley that is at fault here, but one bad seed can ruin it for a whole brand. I have been a loyal customer with the Ashley brand for years and years starting in NY and I did not «complain» to get any sort of compensation for the trouble, I honestly just wanted an apology and validation that I had not been treated appropriately. I feel that after the way I have been treated by Monica, and for the messages left by Rick, I will continue to shop with Ashley Furniture and am grateful there are people in «customer service» who do still care about the customer!

Coming from a retail background way back, I fully believe in the theory that customers only post reviews if their expectations are exceeded or if they are very dissatisfied. Unfortunately this is one of the few negative reviews I have on my Unilocal account.
My fiancée and I just bought a new home and naturally were very excited to get a brand new living room set (sofa/​loveseat/​recliner) for our new space. We went in and per usual, a very enthusiastic salesperson came up to greet us. He was just the right amount of ‘helpful,’ not hovering too much and not absent. We picked out a set we liked and went to the back to set up financing. The GE Capital remote financing system was down for the day so the staff took my information and said they would call me if I wasn’t approved.
Fast (pun intended) forward to 3 weeks later when they finally were able to deliver the set. I was the first stop on the delivery route which was nice however the delivery people seemed to be in a huge rush. They made me sign a waiver stating that I would not claim damages if they were to damage my house or the furniture itself. They quickly got the loveseat and recliner upstairs but struggled a little with the sofa. After scratching up the paint on my walls and gouging marks in my drywall, they quickly set it down in front of my front door and told me they couldn’t get it up there and said that I would need to call customer service to get a refund.
So I did just that, I called Customer Service to say that I needed a refund and that I needed to schedule a pick up. Customer Service then told me to call the store I bought it from to receive the refund. Okay, fine. I called the store who seemed less than pleased to give me my refund, explaining that it didn’t fit and that I would also need to schedule a pick up. They told me that they would then charge me $ 80 since I didn’t refuse the furniture at the time they dropped it off. Um, last I checked no one, including the delivery men, told me I had the right to refuse at that point and I wouldn’t have to pay the $ 80. By this point I just want the sofa out of my house and the money returned, so I agree to pay the $ 80 delivery fee and am told that Customer Service will call me to schedule a pick up.
A week and a half goes by and no call from Customer Service. So I call the store to explain that I haven’t received a call from Customer Service and need to know what I need to do to get a pick-​up scheduled. I was transferred to someone at the store who was extremely rude on the phone and told me that I needed to call Customer Service. I asked her if there was anything I needed to tell Customer Service (like an order number or ticket) and she said «I guess…»
I call Customer Service by this point (sorry this story is so long) and am extremely frustrated. I am really nice and completely appreciate people in any kind of service industry so I explain why I am frustrated and want to know how I can just get this sofa out of my house. The Customer Service rep asked me if I had disputed the $ 80 service charge or anything like that and when I responded ‘no’ she said she was confused why no one had called to schedule my pick up appointment (you and me both, friend). So we set up the pick up appointment for 2 and a half weeks out because that was the earliest time they had!
By now my fiancée, who isn’t quite as patient, called the store to ask why we weren’t provided with better customer service. When the salesperson who answered the phone wasn’t giving any answers, he asked to speak to the manager. The manager on staff was extremely rude and sarcastic. Along the way we had told all the salespeople that we just moved into a new home and are wanting to buy 2 new beds, a new sofa to replace the one that was too large, and an additional recliner. That could be more than $ 3k in sales to them! They refused to return the $ 80 delivery charge unless we purchased a brand new item on the phone right then so my fiancée just rented a uhaul truck, drove the sofa to the Ashley warehouse, and dropped it off.
I am still in the midst of waiting for the $ 80 delivery charge to be credited to my account. But I wanted to share my experience with everyone so they can go into the purchase informed. The selection was great, I still really like my loveseat and recliner. Just everyone (salespeople, delivery people, customer service reps, credit reps, managers) were very difficult to deal with… this coming from someone who is very understanding and patient!
Bottom line. Write down everyone’s name you deal with along they way just in case you have to dispute things down the line.
