Sun Devil Auto

Been here many times and always a good experience. They’ll get you in with a phone call, even on Saturday. Prices are reasonable and when you have questions, someone that actually knows something about vehicles discusses it with you.

Took my car in today for a break inspection and oil change. I’m generally distrustful of mechanics so it is pretty hard to get a decent review out of me for these types of places.
Pros:
They drove me home and picked me up after.
They offer lifetime on break pads.
They we’re quick to diagnose my car.
They were VERY detailed in explaining to me what was wrong and why it needed to be fixed.
Cons:
total cost 442.81.
The gentlemen I spoke with explained that my Wheel cylinders we’re leaking and should be replaced. He used some of the worst case type scenarios that are common for auto repair places but I didn’t feel like he was trying to talk me into anything. Anytime you have to drop 440 on an old vehicle its never a «pro»

I go to sundevil auto pretty much when ever I have a car issue or just regular maintenance they are all over the valley there prices for services are competitive never really had a bad experience came into this store the other day to get a oil change and air in my tires they took me in a timely fashion I didn’t have an appointment but they got me in right away price was good they did a good job thanks guys the manager Joey is a really nice guy

I fully trust Sun Devil Auto with all my repair needs. I bring all my fleet trucks here. as well as my personal vehicles. I feel I get what I pay for. As for some other shops. Where you pay and lucky if you get half of what you pay for. Great customer service! They have been servicing my vehicle for many years.

Sun Devil off of Main in Mesa is the BEST! I am new to the area, and am always leery about finding a trustworthy place to get my car fixed that won’t penny and dime me. A close friend suggested I go to Brian at Sun Devil, and I’m so grateful for the connection. Brian and the rest of the staff at Sun Devil are the best! They are trustworthy, kind, and look out for their customers. I highly recommend them!

I’ve been coming here every couple of months for my oil changes for the past year or so. The staff is friendly and courteous, and I’m always treated professionally. They have the best prices and I’m in and out in about 30 minutes every time. Brian is always very knowledgable and helpful. Thank you!

It was about time I wrote up a review for Sun Devil Auto.
I see that they are always busy and the reason I know they don’t have any Unilocal reviews is because they happen to be near a lot of mobile homes and senior communities. There are A LOT of thank you notes and letters in their shop though, rather than internet reviews. :D
I’ve taken all of my cars there and let’s just say I have not had one bad experience.
Every time I come out and think to myself, «It was cheaper than I had originally thought!» which is a very good thing.
Chrysler 300’s are notorious for this little pink plastic piece breaking in the gear change assembly. The car wouldn’t shift out of park. Reading up on it on the internet, my dad and I thought we could do it our selves. We did manage to fix it, but then the key wouldn’t come out of the ignition. After a while, I decided to take it to Sun Devil and they could have charged me for a couple hundred bucks. Instead, they showed integrity and told me one part had been put back together wrong, and said they would only charge for the labor of taking it apart and putting it back together. They ended charging me less than twenty dollars even though they had spent considerable amount of time on it. Honestly, they could have charged me two hundred bucks and I wouldn’t have been the wiser.
I take all my cars here for the oil changes and they never try to sell you air filters and belts that every other oil change place seem to do.
Another good example of their stand-​up service is how they always give you a ride to and from if need be. One time I was there, a couple from another state were having trouble with their van/​RV and they stopped by Sun Devil Auto for some help. The staff was friendly enough to take them to the nearby laundromat so they could do their laundry while they waited for their car to be fixed!
It’s too bad I moved to North Phoenix though, I’m too far away now!
